“You’re going out, again?” Edison asks in disbelief, turning off the TV. “I don’t know whether to be envious or to be disgusted.”
“Be envious, it’ll motivate you to find Rain and tell her how you feel,” Ron returns the attack. “And I mean it.”
“That or you’ll be sitting here alone for the rest of your life,” Raymond adds in, walking out of Ron’s study room.
“Don’t tell me you have plans too?” Edison questions. “Leila is always Ron’s excuse, but you made up with Michelle already?”
Brushing off the question, “I have to go back to the office to finish up the power-point presentation,” Raymond explains.
“So to put it, you only have two choices,” Ron tells Edison.
“Sit your sorry ass here all you like, or go find Rain and make time worthwhile,” Raymond states out.
Edison, knowing their points, does not respond in reply.

“Okay, okay, time to go,” Leila says, picking up her bag as she starts to heads out the door.
Rain, sitting in the living room by the doorway watching TV, looks up at Leila in disbelief and asks her, “You’re going out, again?”
Before Leila had a chance to answer, Michelle walks out of her room and asks, “Do you need a ride? I left a file at the office and have to go pick it up right now.”
“No, Ron just downstairs waiting,” Leila explains with a smile.
“What? So I’m home alone?” Rain pouts.
Leila walks up to Rain with Michelle following right behind, as the two then hugs her tightly before letting go.
Leila, looking at Rain, tells her, “Honey, go find Edison, the two of you aren’t going to be getting anywhere sitting here.”
Michelle nods in agreement. “Leila’s right Rain, give Edison a chance, give yourself a chance.”
Leila looks from Rain to Michelle, “That was lame.”
Michelle rolls her eyes, “No doubt, can’t believe I said it.”
Rain laughs at the situation put light, “I know what to do, you guys go, leave me, leave me alone with the TV. If I seriously can’t take the isolation, I’ll go for a walk, I know my directions and home phone number in case I get lost.”

Picking up the file folder, Michelle opens it to make it was the right one.
“Michelle?”
Looking up towards the doorway, Michelle surprises to see Raymond. “Mr. Lam,” she formally greets him.
Determined to get it straight, Raymond approaches her and asks, “Okay, seriously, what is going? If you’re going to be mad at me, at least let me know for what reason.”
Considering his comment as an excuse for innocence, Michelle puts its off, “Nothing’s wrong. If there is, then you should know yourself, not me,” she tells him, holding back her temper and brushing past to head towards the door.
“I don’t understand, if I did something to make you mad at me, then I apologize,” Raymond says, getting frustrated by her attitude towards him.
Getting even more upset with Raymond, “I’m not like your every other girl. I don’t need some apology to cheer me up,” Michelle says, giving up. “I can’t believe of all people, it was you I fell for,” she finally confesses, turning around and prepares to walk out of the room.
Raymond stands only for a moment, trying to process her last words. As soon as he realizes what she had said, Raymond ran up to Michelle before she could leave, turns her around and kisses her, holding her tightly.
Michelle, at first, tries to fight him off, but as he held strong, she begins to stop resisting.
Feeling Michelle loosening, Raymond slowly pulls away, with their face only inches away. Looking intently at her, he tells, “I don’t care what’s going on, but I can tell you, you’re right, you’re not like every other girl, and that is why from now on, you’re my only girl.”
Michelle, looking at Raymond, not sure whether she was hearing what she had heard, softly responds, “I can never tell whether you’re serious or not.”
Returning the gaze, Raymond, to answer her question, leans in and encloses her in what seems to be an ever-lasting kiss.

“How come you wanted to come to the beach this late at night?” Leila asks as Ron and her walks hand in hand along the shore of the beach.
Ron looks over at Leila, “Because I want to be with you,” he tells her directly, catching her off guard. “And only you.”
Flushed with shyness, Leila can only smile to the comment.
Ron gestures for Leila to sit down as he takes a seat down next to her. “It’s so hard to imagine that after all the twists and turns among the six of us, this is it… I’ve finally found the one.”
Leila, touched, looks to Ron, and questions, “How do you know? What if I turn out to not be the one you’re waiting for?”
Ron takes Leila’s hand in his. “I know because my heart tells me so.” Then returning the question. “Do you think you chose the wrong guy?”
“No,” Leila tells him, shaking her head. “I know I could never ask for anyone as special, as perfect as you.”
With that, Leila leans her head onto Ron’s shoulder as they silently look out into the moonlit ocean before them.

Walking aimlessly down the street in the middle of the night, with only street lamps to light the secluded area, Rain watches as a couple passes her, overhearing their conversation.
“You promised that we’d go see the sunrise together,” the girl was whining.
“I know, but the Peak is always crowded and there’s nowhere else to go that’s nice to watch the sunrise,” the guy excuses.

Edison, aimlessly roaming the street in the middle night, finds that he had wandered into the secluded area of the city, with only the street lamps to light up the area. Not caring, he continues to wander down the street.

Rain hearing the comment, stops to the side of ocean, placing both hands onto the railing as she closes her eyes and recalls.

“I remember being younger and telling my mom that the most romantic thing that could ever happen is being able to watch the sunrise with your one true love.”
“What are you looking for in Mr. Right?” asks Edison turning his attention to look at her from the side.
Rain, still looking towards the sunrise, answers, “I don’t know, I don’t think I expect much in life.” She then looks down and smiles to herself, “It probably sounds silly, but I just want to fall in love. To just know that there is someone out there that will make me smile, so that when I turn around, he’ll be right there,” she finishes, as she turns, facing Edison, who too looks to her.

Smiling to herself, Rain then looks down, turning to her side, she sees the empty air next to her. Disappointed, she turns around towards the lifeless area, but upon looking up, she sees Edison directly across from her.
Edison, standing a fair distance across from Rain, slowly approaches her, a small, light purple gift box in hand.
Standing in the same position, Rain watches as Edison walks up to her and stops a feet away.
Eyes roaming in search of words, Edison finally lands his sight on the box in hand and nervously brings it up to her. “This for you,” he tells her, handing her the box.
Rain, taking the mini gift box in hands, looks at Edison before gently opening it, revealing a set of “Gift Dolls.” Taking the “Gift Dolls” out and into her palm, Rain looks back up at Edison, “The dolls…”
Finally taking up the courage, Edison looks at Rain and confesses, “I bought the Gift Dolls a while ago. You said that the Gift Dolls would have no meaning if you bought it yourself. I remember. I remember every word you said from the very moment I met you.”
Touched by his every word, Rain becomes speechless, only looking at Edison, tightening her hold on the “Gift Dolls,” as her eyes begin to well up.
Seeing Rain speechless, Edison continues on. “I’m not like the little boy,” he refers to the dolls, “who can give you much, but I can be the guy that when you turn around, I’ll be right there.” Hearing no response, Edison, to hide his disappointment, runs his hand through his hair in awkwardness.
Seeing his gesture, Rain then could not help but let out a soft laugh. “You know, usually when a girl doesn’t say anything and accept the gift of a lifetime, it means she accepts the guy as well.”
Edison, laughing at his own stupidity. “Sorry, I tend to be kind of slow at times.”
Rain smiles, “Works with me.” Then mischievously questions, “Just depends if you mind having someone who’s going to need you to be there whenever she turns around.”
Edison returns the smile with a grin, “That’s my type of girl.”
With that, Rain then leans forward and wraps her arms around Edison in a tight hug as he holds his arms out to embrace her in a hold to never let go.
The End.
