"Hebe!" Genie called out. "Lets go!"
"Go where?"
"We're going on a shopping spree with Selina,Ella,Ariel,Rainie,Guigui!Basically the girls in the show." Genie giggled like a child who just got candy.
"I didn't agree to that." I replied,imagining them forcing me to try outfits.
Genie rolled her eyes and pulled me,hard. "Ariel is sponsoring!Anyone who rejects to that are really fools!"
"Call me a fool anytime."
"Don't be sarcastic!Smile!"
"Heee." I let out a not very pleasant smile and soon the girls were in sight.
"Hebe!We were waiting so long!"
"Why am I here again?" I folded my arms. "Something is amiss."
"Jie,the director said that you have to go for a makeover,for the last scene when you battle out with Arron on the pianos."
"So romantic~" The girls chorused and I looked at them,chuckling.
"You all should just join drama club." And everyone laughed.
The shopping mall was left with very few people and it felt rather wierd.
"Why is there so little people?" Genie asked.
"Haha,thats a wierd question.Have you forgotten?Ariel and Selina's fathers own the mall?"
"Right,I forgot." Genie let out a sheepish grin and said.
Own the mall?They must be like...filthy filthy rich!Like really really rich!
"First stop!" Rainie announced like a tourguide. "Hair!"
The six girls pushed me in excitedly and I came face to face with a ...
"Met Jacques!" Selina introduced.
"My my my!What do we have here?Is she going for some costume party."
What a great way to insult people.
"I'll take care of the darling.Ladies,anyone want manicure?"
They all nodded,well except for me.Jacques led me to one of the stations and I sat down on a overly pink chair.
Pink really hurts my eyes sometimes,especially hot pink!
"Don't squirm woman." Jacques said as he took out the rubber bands of my two ponytails and snip,snip,snip.
My hair!
No knowing whether to be happy or sad,I just stay put as I stared at the mirror blankly.
About 20 minutes later,I walked out of the room.
"Oh my gosh!" Guigui screamed as she ran over to me. "You look great Jie!"
"Wait,why do you always call her Jie?" Ariel asked.
"Well,she is my real sister."
"Really?I thought Jiro was lying." Selina gasped "I didn't mean anything bad."
I nodded.Its...natural reaction.
"Next facial!" Rainie said again and we head to the next shop.
For two whole hours and lay there,have people smoothe yet also torture my face.
"Does it really work?" I had to ask myself time after time.
Soon the two hours was gone and I glanced at my watch.It was 4pm already.
"You guys look great!" Ella grinned.
"Its getting late.Guigui,you and Hebe can go to the contact lenses shop together,pass them this card and they'll know what to do."
Guigui nodded and as we were about to go our seperate ways,I bumped into somebody.
Somehow I have forgotten the feeling of bumping to someone..haha..ok,that was wierd.
"Sorry!" I apologized and came face to face with...a very scary looking Jolin.
"Girls,what are you all doing with..." She pointed at me and finished off "the nerd."
"Well,for your info,her name is Hebe."
"Yea and Jolin,from now on,you're on your own."
"You're just a big meanie!Hebe is nice you know,unlike someone who always force us to do things we don't want to do!"
Jolin was clearly shocked and ran off.I was also shocked.
"I thought you guys like her?"
"Used to..now she's a total-"
"Ok..ok..I got your point.No need to swear."
"See you both tomorrow." The other five girls went off leaving me with Guigui.
"I really enjoy this Jie!Its been a long time since we went shopping together!" Guigui smiled from ear to ear and I nodded.
It has been a long time since we ever did anything together.
We reached the spectacle shop and the person measure my degrees and soon,I got myself contact lenses.
"Try it when you go home ok?I bet you'll look absoutely beautiful!"
"You and your sweet tongue."
Just then I passed by a sweet shop and step inside.
"Jie,what are you doing?"
"Wait a while."
I bought two lollipops,one for me and the other for Guigui.
"Ohhh..I used to love these when I was younger."
I chuckled and ruffled her hair "I know,your favourite was always strawberry."
We then suck our lollipop and made our way home.
