Chun’s father, Gerald came back around that time.
Gerald: I home!
Ella then walked towards him.
Ella: Welcome back!
Ella smiled at Gerald.
Gerald: Oh, hmm… I can smell curry…
Ella: Yup. One of the dishes I cooked is curry. Come and have dinner!
Gerald: Okay.
Ella and Gerald sit on their seats. Chun then came downstairs and noticed his father is back.
Chun: Hi dad. (While sitting on his seat)
Gerald: Okay. Let’s start dinner.
And so, three of them started to eat. While eating, Gerald asked Ella about her first day in school.
Gerald: So Ella, how’s your first day?
Chun stared at Ella, like trying to tell her not to say about what he did to her.
Well, Ella did notice it. But she pretends not to understand it.
Ella: Well, it’s was half-okay…
Gerald: Half-okay? You mean you encounter some problems in school?
Ella: Yeah…apparently, there was guy beside me didn’t know how to appreciate my kindness to him!
The moment Chun heard, he was angry of course.
Ella then stared at him, gave him a fake smile.
Chun’s P.O.V
Grr… how dare she give me that look!
Gerald: I see… Oh, are both Chun and you in the same class?
Ella: Uh, yup.
Gerald: So where do you sit huh?
Ella immediately replied to Gerald so that to make Chun feel angry. She gave Gerald a fake smile.
Ella: Well, I sit beside Chun! (Smile)
Chun’s P.O.V
Grr… spoils my patient huh? That vixen…!
Gerald: … Hmm…
Gerald’s P.O.V
Guess Chun was the one who doesn’t appreciate Ella’s kindness. But somehow Ella said that purposely. Hmm… is she doing that to make Chun to notice her? Well, it has to be it to make the plan worked…
The next day came fast. As normal, Ella prepared breakfast for both Gerald and Chun. Gerald had a very important meeting so he has to leave the house early. And so, there left Ella and Chun in the house.
It was still early so they can leave the house a bit late. Both of them are still eating breakfast…
Of course, when Gerald is not here, both of their true colours came out. They start to quarrel…
Chun: After eating breakfast, you better leave the house later than me cos I don’t like to walk with a vixen!
Ella then fights back with him.
Ella: Well, the more you don’t like, the more I want to! (Fake smile again)
Chun: Are trying to make me angry?
Ella: Oh, how do you know that? You’re clever!
Chun: We’ll see about that! You’re not gonna live in the school for long!
Ella: I told you I’m not scared!
The first time Chun met her, she wasn’t like that. She was a very patient girl who can control her anger. But it was Chun himself make Ella shows out her true colours to him.
So Chun really can’t think of how to get rid of her. Ella keeps following him to school.
(Class)
There was nothing wrong when Chun walked into the classroom. But when Ella step into the classroom, everyone except Jiro and Calvin were staring at her.
Ella felt a bit weird, wondering why is everyone looking at her. And then…
Guy: Hey, it’s the transfer student!
Guy2: Yeah, she actually has the guts to slap the school popular guy!
Ella heard it. But she didn’t bother about it. She just went to her seat and sit down.
Chun purposely ignores her, looking outside the window.
Then, Jiro and Calvin came to her.
Jiro: Ella, did you really give Chun a slap yesterday?
Ella: Yeah. I don’t think I did anything wrong to give him a slap!
Chun’s P.O.V
Well, you’re not gonna live in the school once you slap me! You can be proud after slapping me, but everyone will be after you!
Calvin walks to Chun and ask him.
Calvin: Hey man, is Ella really your stepmother?
Chun was shocked. He stood up and asked…
Chun: How did you know about this?
Ella stood up and answers his question.
Ella: Oh, I told him about it! (Smile)
Well, Ella tried to make Chun angry.
Chun: You and your big mouth!
Ella: Why? It’s not like I’m lying, isn’t it? What’s the problem letting them know? It’s better than let the whole school knows about it right?
Chun had nothing to say since the one who knows Ella is his stepmother is his two best friends.
Chun: Fine!
He sits down and kept quiet. To Ella, she thinks she won Chun for this time.
Ella sits back on her seat.
Jiro: Oh, Chun. It’s been quite sometime since we haven’t eat together, why not recess we all eat together? Ella, you can come with us too!
The moment Chun and Ella heard this, both of them answered at the same time.
Chun & Ella: If he/she is going, I’m not going!
Chun and Ella stare each other.
Chun: Hey, why are you copying what I’m saying?
Ella: This is what I want to ask!
Jiro and Calvin started laughing.
Jiro: Hahaha… both of you are so cute!
Calvin: Both of you doesn’t really look like stepmother and stepson after all!
Ella: SHH… Calvin! Don’t let anyone knows about it! It’ll be a disaster when everyone knows that I’m his stepmother!
Calvin: Oh… okay… sorry.
And soon, lessons begin. A period before recess, there was no teacher coming in. It seems that the teacher is absent. And the best of all, there was no relief teacher coming in. The students started to talk to each other.
And since it was a free period for everyone in the class, the two girls which pushed Ella down yesterday and two guys came up to Ella.
Girl: Hey, We have to talk to you in private!
Ella’s P.O.V
What are they up to? Must be something bad!
Ella: Apparently, I have no intension to listen to what you guys want to say.
Girl2: Come on, just a few words only! Are you being scared or what?
Ella: … okay. If it’s only a few words.
Girl: Follow us.
The girls asked Ella to follow them to a place where they have to talk in private. The two other guys just followed behind them. Chun saw the whole thing but he didn’t bother about it, just thinking how Ella would be bullied by them
Chun’s P.O.V
I wonder how many bruises she is going to have…
Jiro and Calvin did saw the whole thing.
Jiro felt a little uncomfortable about it. He knew that Ella was going to bully by the girls. But the strange was why there were two guys also following them? There must be something not right.
[First, Gerald thought that Ella was trying to make Chun noticed about her so that the plan they talked would work. But is Ella really trying to make Chun noticed about her? Maybe it’s not. Ella doesn’t even have a feel for Chun at all. Will she really make Chun to notice her?]
[Second, Ella knew that the girls might bully her yet she still have the guts to follow them. Because she isn’t afraid of them at all. The girls knew that Ella doesn’t afraid of them, that’s why they brought the two other guys along.]
[Last but not least, Jiro knew something was not right when the two other guys followed Ella too. What will the guys be doing when they followed them?]
