(The next morning) (At Fion’s place) (Lik Hang just woke up to see Louis preparing breakfast)
LIK HANG: (walks into kitchen) You still love to cook like before, don’t you?
LOUIS: (turns and smile at him) Yup, it’ll be ready in 5 minutes, take a seat outside first…
LIK HANG: Emmm… I have something to ask you…
LOUIS: (take a look at him) What’s it?
LIK HANG: Yesterday, I think I heard Fion’s sobbing in her room…You were in her room too…
LOUIS: Gor, don’t misunderstand… There is nothing between us……
LIK HANG: I know, I am not suspecting you two have something up to the sleeves… But I think Fion is rather unhappy recently… And I know she always refers to you for her problems… So I just want to ask you whether she revealed anything…
LOUIS: (stutters) Emmm… it’s actually about…… about…… your proposal lor!!!
LIK HANG: (curious) My proposal? But why does she have to cry?
LOUIS: (tries not to look into Lik Hang’s eyes) Emmm…… She is quite upset that you wants her to quit her job…… Because she really enjoys it……
LIK HANG: (takes a deep breath and laughs) Oh!!! I thought what it was about…(talks to himself) Silly girl!!! (to Louis) Hey, is your breakfast ready? I’m famished…
LOUIS: Oh yes… (takes the breakfast out)
LIK HANG: Where’s Fion? She’s still sleeping? I’ll wake her up…… (walks into room)
LOUIS: (Looking at Lik Hang’s back, he suddenly starts to worry for Fion instead… And let out a deep sigh) Hope everything goes well…

(At night) (Fion meets Zoe in pub)
ZOE: Huh? Lik Hang proposed to you? Congratulations! (pauses then talk again) Or I should worry for you?
FION: No idea… One is an ideal spouse, whereas the other is an ideal lover…
ZOE: You still want to drag it on…?
FION: No… Earlier on I found it harder to make a decision… This few days it’s better…
ZOE: (look at her seriously) You don’t love Lik Hang already?
FION: (sighs) It’s Jerry! He did me wrong… (heart feels painful when saying this)
ZOE: I’ve heard him mentioned it… I think it should be a misunderstanding…
FION: (Curiously) How do you know?
ZOE: (speaking from her understanding of Jerry) If he is really up to any hanky-panky he needs not be with you, that way he can have more freedom… moreover, he’s completed under your love spell… How would he do such a thing?
FION: (Suddenly realize how selfish she is and not empathizing with Jerry’s situation and feels relieved) Emmm, You’re right…Then… You’ll choose for me!!!
ZOE: (got a shock) Wow, that’s too gigantic a responsibility… I won’t be able to shoulder it. (points to the entrance) Hey, look!
FION: (taken aback) You betrayed me? Why did you ask Jerry here?
ZOE: (shakes her head) You are wrong… This is the affinity between you two… I’m not that senseless… (Jerry walks towards them) Hi, Jerry…
JERRY: (to Zoe) Hi, Zoe… (to Fion)(Awkwardly) Hi… (looks at Zoe again) Emmm, I’m going to Tom’s bar… (to Fion)(Smiles) Call me when you’re free…
FION: (nods her head) Emmm. (She is a bit confused, why is Jerry……)
ZOE: I think… You’ve really wronged him… Judging from his deep and crazy love for you…, he wouldn’t cast such a cold look…
FION: Perhaps this indicates the end of our affinity… I didn’t want it this way too…
ZOE: Why not… Let me help you?
FION: If he still love me, he will look for me… I think… I really misunderstood him… And I’ll better frequent this pub lesser in future… Let’s go…

(The next day, afternoon, Fion’s day off) (Louis sitting on sofa, reading a magazine, and Fion has just finished surfing the net and walks out from her room)
FION: (sits down adjacent to Louis) Hey, how long do you plan to stay in Hong Kong?
LOUIS: For my whole life lor!
FION: (rolls her eyes) I’m serious!
LOUIS: (gave her a serious look) And I’m serious too!
FION: Huh? You mean you are staying here… What about your job in England? We thought you were back for a holiday…
LOUIS: I’ve quitted.
FION: But why? There are certainly prospects in your job…
LOUIS: (Seriously) Because of you… I miss you…
FION: ????
LOUIS: (cracks out) Ha ha… Just kidding with you… Look how nervous you are… (puts his magazine down) I’ve accepted a job offer at Yan Sum hospital, and Hong Kong is my home after all… I miss everything in Hong Kong for 8 years… Enough…
FION: Emmm, that’s good… When will you start your work?
LOUIS: Next Monday.
FION: (suddenly thinks of the past where she and Louis always go ice-skating) Do you want to go ice-skating today? It had been a long time since we last went skating…
LOUIS: (stands up) Sure! Come on, get changed! (gestures Fion to stand up)
FION: (stands up) Ok, see you in a moment!

(Ice-skating ring)
FION: (stands by a side) Do you go skating when you were in England?
LOUIS: (skates to her side) Nope.
FION: (smiles) But you’re still skating as good as before…
LOUIS: And you’re still skating as bad as before… (they both laugh) Or you really don’t have the talent?
FION: Who says? (She skates off and goes as fast as she could) (Look back and takes a look at Louis) See? (When she just turned her head over, she banged into a man and fell hard on the ice)
LOUIS: (Frightened) Fion!!! (rushes over)
(Fion’s knee was bleeding profusely and Louis get uptight)(He turned and scolds the man)
LOUIS: (Angrily) How could you knock into her? Are you blind? You didn’t see her skating fast towards you? You…
FION: (butts in) Forget it, Louis… I’m okay… (she lifts her head to take a look at the man, it was Jerry! And there was a girl besides him, she is holding on to his hands…)

PS: Who is the girl beside Jerry? Is she a 6th party? And has this relationship between the girl, Jerry, Mona, Fion, Lik Hang and Louis becomes a hexagon relationship? Do Fion still love Jerry, or will she fall for Louis? Or stick to Lik Hang? Surprises up for next chapter!!!
