JERRY: Hi, Uncle Chan, long time no see. Do you still recognize me?
UNCLE CHAN: Oh, yes. You have not been here for a long time, young man.
JERRY: Ya, I just returned from Japan. See you around, bye.
UNCLE CHAN: Bye.

(outside Angel’s house)
JERRY: Let me give her a surprise. (calls Angel) Angel? Jerry here. I’ll be returning a bit later.
ANGEL: But why?
JERRY: The flights for these 2 days are all fully booked.
ANGEL: Emmm…….
JERRY: Don’t be so unhappy la….
ANGEL: Ok, long distance calls are costly, we’ll talk when you’re back.
JERRY: Ok, bye. (hangs up) Should I knock or should I ring the bell? (suddenly hears merry-making voices inside) Yeeee, why are there voices of a man? (feeling uneasy)

JOE: Who was it on the call just now, Angel?
ANGEL: It’s good news. Jerry called to say that he will be back a bit later.
JOE: Then we can be together for 2 more days la… (kisses her)
ANGEL: (feeling ticklish) stop that….
(Jerry heard their conversation outside)
JERRY: Ridiculous. They are too much!
PIZZA BOY: Mister, did you order this? (pointing to pizza)
JERRY: Ridiculous, order pizza somemore… (to pizza boy) oh, yes, (give the money) Keep the change. (Turns and ring the bell) Your Pizza is here… your pizza is here…
ANGEL: (opens the door but didn’t turn to see Jerry) Just place it there (pointing to the table) Hey, (to Joe) pay for it!
JOE: Ok… (shocked to see Jerry) JERRY!
ANGEL: (still not realizing that Jerry was behind) Are you crazy? Jerry is still in Japan…
JERRY: Of course you two wish I was still in Japan.
ANGEL: (shocked too) Jer… Jerry… (panicked)Please don’t misunderstand us, we are not what you make out of us… we…
JERRY: Don’t try to fool me… My best friend is substituting me to be with my girlfriend…What do you have to say, Joe?
JOE: No, it’s just a misunderstanding, I……
JERRY: Oh yes, I’m still in Japan. We have been friends for decades, how could you do this to me? SCRAM NOW!
JOE: Sorry, I’ll call you later. (walks out quickly)
ANGEL: (pretending to cry) Jerry, I…… I……
JERRY: Ya, ya, what do you have to say? What story have you to tell me?
ANGEL: I was alone and bored,…… and so I wanted Joe to accompany me, I didn’t expect him to fall for me…… I have told him earlier, … that I would break up with him upon your return, I have never love him…… I only love you and only you, Jerry…… (still sobbing)

(still in pub, Fion with Zoe, some guys whistling)
ZOE: Look, Fion, those lecherous guys are looking to our direction.
FION: You scared of them looking at you meh? I haven’t been scared…
ZOE: Is that how you look at your good friend?
FION: Sorry ah, just joking with you only mah, Sister Zoe…
BARTENDER: Hey pretty girls, what do you two want?
FION: Give me a pink lady.
BARTENDER: Ok.
ZOE: Hey, do you need to be so matching? You are wearing pink already, still must drink pink lady?

BARTENDER: (To Fion and Zoe) Hey, do you need any help?
JERRY: We know each other…
FION: (To bartender) Please help him to the seat.

ZOE: Sometimes, depend on mood.
JERRY: I always hang around here, but didn’t see you before…
FION: (to Zoe) Let’s go. We’ll come again another day.

JERRY: Me too, but it’s all in the past. Go home now la…

JERRY: Stop it, or I’ll call the police.
ANGEL: (continues until she is tired, crying) Jerry…

PS: Looks like Jerry and Angel are not going to be together. Now that Jerry knows that Fion is back tomorrow, what action will he take? Will Fion accept him?
