(Next day)(The Jack’s place)(Zoe meets Fion for lunch)
FION: (walking towards her) Hi, sorry I’m a bit late…
ZOE: (smiles) It’s ok. Order your food.
FION: (to waiter) One set lunch, thanks. (to Zoe) Zoe, you still remember the girl I’ve told you about at the skating ring?
ZOE: Emmm, the one with Jerry, why?
FION: She is Jerry’s sister!
ZOE: (taken aback) Huh? How did you know? I thought Jerry only has a younger brother???
FION: She happened to know Bowie when he was on a case…
ZOE: Oh yes, Bowie is back… (absent-minded)
FION: Oh ya… Do you still miss him?
ZOE: (stuttering and looks away) What? When have I ever miss him?
FION: (chuckles) Don’t pretend, I know you like him…
ZOE: (blushing) Don’t spout nonsense!
FION: Six month ago, someone looks so sad when she knew my brother was going to San Francisco for an assignment…
ZOE: (blushes) Stop teasing me!
FION: When don’t you make the first move, since you like him?
ZOE: It’s so embarrassing… And stop that, Fion! Or I’ll make a move… (pretends to leave)
FION: Ok, ok, I’ll leave it to you two to settle it. Hey, I’m meeting him for dinner tonight. Come along!
ZOE: Fion Ah……
FION: I’m serious, come on, be brave!
ZOE: Emmm, ok.
FION: That’s right! 7 p.m. , see you at ABC steakhouse.

(7 p.m., at ABC steakhouse)(Bowie and Zoe have arrived)
BOWIE: That Fion! She is forever late! (suddenly hand phone rings) Hello? What? You can’t make it? Ok, then. Bye. (hangs up) (to Zoe) She said she can’t make it.
ZOE: It’s ok.
BOWIE: We’ll order the food then… (calling waiter and ordered for himself and Zoe)
ZOE: You still remember what I like to eat?
BOWIE: (Smiles) Of course! I have a good memory! (takes a sip of water) Are you still working in the law firm as a secretary?
ZOE: Yes, I can’t possibly job-hop in six months…
BOWIE: (takes a closer look at her) You’ve slimmed down! Too busy with work?
ZOE: Not as busy as Fion…
BOWIE: You mean her relationship with Jerry?
ZOE: You knew it? Oh… From Kris, Jerry’s sister?
BOWIE: Fion told you?
ZOE: Emmm.
BOWIE: She is so troubled now, I think… If I was her I wouldn’t know how to choose… (looks at her) A simple relationship would be the best, just like you and me!
ZOE: (thinking to herself) Does he means anything? Or am I getting the wrong hint? (blushing)
BOWIE: The steak is here. Let’s enjoy our dinner.
(they continues to enjoy their dinner, and Bowie sends her home)

(in Bowie’s car)
BOWIE: How was the dinner?
ZOE: Great!
BOWIE: I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it. Are you free tomorrow night?
ZOE: Emmm, yes. Why?
BOWIE: (take a glance at her) Care to go to the movies with me?
ZOE: Ok.
BOWIE: (Smiles broadly) That’s a deal, I’ll picked you up at 7 tomorrow. (Zoe returns with a smile and a slight nod)

(at Zoe’s place) (the telephone rings)
ZOE: (picks it up) Hello?
LOUIS: Zoe? It’s Louis here.
ZOE: Louis? What’s up?
LOUIS: Emmm, I just want to ask you whether you know why Fion is postponing her marriage…
ZOE: Oh… Emmm, actually…
LOUIS: Don’t worry, just tell me straight, I won’t tell my brother… And, actually… I’ve learnt all about Fion and Jerry…
ZOE: (taken aback) Huh? Everyone knows about it except Lik Hang…
LOUIS: Who are you referring to?
ZOE: Fion’s brother, Bowie… You know him right? Oh, you should… And Jerry’s younger sister, Kris.
LOUIS: Kris? Isn’t her Jerry’s new girlfriend?
ZOE: No… She is indeed Jerry’s younger sister, and she told Bowie about Fion and Jerry…
LOUIS: (confused) She knows Bowie too? That’s a bit confusing…
ZOE: They met when Bowie was investigating a case…
LOUIS: Oh… So can you tell me now… Why is Fion postponing her marriage?
ZOE: Emmm, why don’t you ask her yourself?
LOUIS: Her lips are sealed.
ZOE: Ok, but don’t ask her anything… Actually she couldn’t make up her mind, although Jerry had said that he won’t see her again… She hopes to be with Jerry, and think it over…
LOUIS: (sighs) She’s playing with fire, once again… (pauses for a few seconds) Emmm, Zoe, are you free tomorrow night? I’ll treat you to dinner.
ZOE: Emmm, I’m sorry. I’ve arranged to meet someone else.
LOUIS: Ummm, it’s ok then. Take care, and bye. (hangs up)
