(In Fion’s room, the night before her wedding)(Fion is sitting in front of the mirror)
ZOE: (sighs) Jerry is leaving for Japan tonight… (looks at Fion) Actually, have you ever regretted your decision?
FION: I don’t know…
ZOE: (sighs) He was supposed to leave earlier, but later decided to postpone it until tonight… Will you miss him?
FION: (firmly) I will.
ZOE: My dear friend, why are you doing this to yourself? You know who the one you really loves is…
FION: (taking out something from the drawer… it is the only photo she had took with Jerry… Both of them are smiling so brightly in the picture.. take a closer look… they are really a match made in heaven)(tears rolling down) It’s the only memory I have…
ZOE: (supportive tone) Listen to me, Fion! Fight for your love! You know you has no more feelings for Lik Hang… you know Jerry loves you very much… and he will certainly shower all his love and attention on you… where else can you find such a devoted man? Come on, forget about all the times you’ve spent with Lik Hang… don’t feel that you shouldn’t give him up because you two have been together for 8 years… what is important is that… you know you love Jerry… you know it… He is taking the night flight at 11 p.m…. you can still make it if you…
FION: (crying her hearts out, putting her head on Zoe’s shoulders) Zoe…
(suddenly the telephone rings)
FION: (Wiping her tears) Hello.
KRIS: (Anxious tone) Hello? Is that Fion? Jerry is in the hospital now…
FION: (heart sinking) WHAT!!!
KRIS: I’ll tell you when you arrives… Yan Sum Hospital… I’ll be waiting for you at the lobby… (hangs up)
ZOE: (noticing that Fion’s face had turned all paled) What happened, Fion? Fion…?
FION: (Crying and stuttering) Jer… Jerry … He is in hospital…
ZOE: Huh? What happened?
FION: (keeps shaking her head) I don't know… Can you accompany me…
ZOE: (nods her head) Let’s go… I’ll call Bowie… (calls Bowie)

(Yan Sum Hospital, lobby area)
FION: (spotted Kris, rushes forward) Kris, what happened to Jerry? What…
KRIS: (puts her hand on Fion’s shoulder) Calm down… (takes a breath) He was knocked down by a car when crossing the road to take a taxi to the airport, and now… he is in a coma… and there is blood clots in his head… He is now in the ICU…
FION: (Crying non-stop) Where?
KRIS: I’ll lead the way.
BOWIE: (appears from behind) Zoe, how’s it?
ZOE: (pulls him to a corner and tells him the situation) Ok, we’ll visit Jerry now…
(In ICU, Fion and Jerry are divided by the glass)
FION: (putting both of her hands on the glass, and shaking her head) Jerry… Jerry…
BOWIE: (puts his hand on Fion’s shoulders) He’ll be alright… Don’t worry…
FION: (lies her head on Bowie’s shoulder) Why did this happen? Why? If only I didn’t tell him those words… I’m so selfish! I’ve caused him all these… (Crying and out of a sudden, fainted)
BOWIE: (shaking her up) Fion! Fion!
(She was made to stay for the night for observation, meanwhile someone came in)
LOUIS: Are you ok?
FION: (just awaken) Yes. Why are you here?
LOUIS: I works here, you forgot?
FION: (dispirited) Oh, yes… (crying)
LOUIS: Fion, pull yourself together! Jerry will be alright… (Fion keeps shaking her head)
LIK HANG: Fion! Are you alright? How did you end up here? I called Zoe and knew that…
FION: (stops his words) Lik Hang… I’m sorry… I cannot marry you…
LIK HANG: What? (stuttering) Don’t… don’t joke… you…
FION: Sorry… but I really love him very much… (Crying and gasping for air) Sorry, Lik Hang… I’m sorry…
LIK HANG: (turns to Louis) Ah Hong...
LOUIS: (to Lik Hang) Gor, let’s talk outside… (they went out)(Louis told him the naked truth)
(Fion was left alone in the room, then Bowie, Zoe and Kris entered)
BOWIE: Fion, I’ll stay and accompany you tonight…
FION: (shakes her head) No… leave me alone…
ZOE: Why not I....
FION: (shakes her head) No… I want to be alone…
KRIS: Ok, let’s go… (they left the room)
(Fion’s thoughts: Why? Why didn’t I cherish him? Why am I so cruel, how can I be so cruel to him… someone who loves me so much.. I knows he does… what if he can’t pull it through? I’ll be guilty and heartbroken for life… if he really… I’ll go with him… so that we’ll be together… forever…)(She visited Jerry again… )Jerry, please wake up... I'll promise you anything if you wake up...

(the next morning, Fion is discharged)
BOWIE: (taking her hand) Let’s go, Fion…
FION: (absent-minded and dispirited) Ok… (walking with Bowie like a zombie)
KRIS: (runs in) Fion… (panting) Jerry has…
FION: WHAT!!! (break free of Bowie’s hand and runs to his ICU ward, crying) Jerry, Jerry……
(ICU ward)(She couldn’t believe her eyes, Jerry was sitting there, staring at her)
KRIS: (catching up with her) Hey, I just want to tell you he has come to…
FION: (opens the door, and runs towards Jerry, throwing herself into his arms) Jerry…
JERRY: Why are you crying?
FION: I thought you would leave me…
JERRY: (Kris walked in) Kris, this is…?
FION: It’s no time for joke…
KRIS: (chuckles) Yes, Gor… don’t tease her la… she was so worried a bout you…
JERRY: No… I am serious… (to Fion) Do I know you???
FION: (unbelievably moving her eyes left to right, up and down) Please don’t joke with me, Jerry... I’m Fion…
JERRY: And you are my…
FION: Girlfriend…
JERRY: (taken aback) I thought it should be Angel, where is she? (putting his hands on his temple) I remember I was going to give her a surprise…
KRIS: Gor, are you alright?
FION: (agitated and crying) You don’t remember me? You forgot everything about us? Jerry…
JERRY: (shaking his head in bewilderment) I don't know…
DOCTOR: (comes in with Louis) Hi, you’re awake…
KRIS: What happened to him?
DOCTOR: We believe it is a partial memory loss…
FION: (Kris stood beside her, consoling her) Partial memory loss?
LOUIS: And we believe it is psychological… because there is no clear sigh of him having concussions…
FION: (crying and turning towards Jerry) So you chose to forget me? (Jerry was lost for words…)
LOUIS: It may be a psychological barrier…
KRIS: (to doctor) How long would it take him to recover from his memory loss?
DOCTOR: That depends… but try your best as family to narrate him on the partial period of memory he had lost…
KRIS: Thanks, doctor… (doctor walk out)
LOUIS: (whispering to Kris) Let’s go out first… (both walks out)
JERRY: (feeling awkward with a stranger who claims to be his girlfriend… then he suddenly remembers something) Are you… the air-stewardess on the plane today?
FION: (tensed up) Yes, but it’s not today… (Brief him about their times together)(taking out the photo) This is the only photo I have of us…
JERRY: (memory jerks up) At Stanley beach…
FION: You remembers it?
JERRY: (shaking his head) I don't know… I’m confused… Where is Angel?
FION: You have broken up with her… (Crying) Jerry… please… please don’t play such a joke on me… I can’t… I can’t lose you… (throws herself into his arms once again)
JERRY: (the feeling is familiar, the warm feeling…)(Hugging her tighter) Fion…
FION: (break free and looked up at him) You remembered me?
JERRY: (shakes his head) I don’t remember about our dates and meetings… (pauses) give me some time…
(Fion could only nods her head and says nothing… Why is that happening to her? The Jerry in-front of her is no longer the Jerry that loved her and doted so much on her… He can’t even remember anything about them)

(2 days later, at Yip’s home for the aged)
LOUIS: (knocking) Hello.
KRIS: You’ve come! Let’s go…
STEVEN: (appears from behind) I’m tagging along…
CHARMAINE: Me too! I’m knocking off…
(in the car)
STEVEN: Kris, is your brother alright?
KRIS: (sighs) Heaven is making sport of them… they had such a hard getting together… when Fion finally makes up her mind, this is happening…
CHARMAINE: He didn’t even have the slightest impression of her?
KRIS: He remembered how they meet, but not the times they are together… he had a partial memory loss…
STEVEN: Then there should be still hope…
LOUIS: (driving) I agree… We should never give up… (the 3 nods in unison)

(Jerry’s ward)(Bowie, Zoe and Fion are already there)
KRIS: Gor, we can go now…
JERRY: Ok…
CHARMAINE: (walks towards Fion) You are Fion? (she nods) Don’t be so sad, I’m sure he’ll recover his memory… Heaven won’t mistreat good people…
STEVEN: Zoe, why not you accompany Fion home first? We’ll take Jerry home…
FION: (protesting) No… I want to go with you all…
BOWIE: No.. Fion… you are tired… You have not left the hospital for 2 days! I’ll take you home… (Fion shakes her head) Please……
JERRY: Your brother is right. Just go home first, I’ll be alright…
FION: (nods her head unwillingly) Ok…
ZOE: Come, let’s go… (walks out with Fion and Bowie)
LOUIS: Let’s make a move too… anything you’ve left here? (Jerry shakes his head and took a last look of the room… and his past 2 days with Fion, his memory is jerking again… he remembers something… parts and parcels…tulips… shooting stars… the pub… but how will he link them up?)
