“You’re awake? Thank goodness!” Yoona ran up to his bed.
He cleared his throat, “Chaerin?”
“I’m Yoona, Seunggi-ah.” Yoona said gently.
“Yoona, where’s Chaerin?” Seunggi asked her.
“She’s fine.” Yoona poured him a glass of water.
“I want to see her.” Seunggi said again.
He saw Yoona face fell.
“Yoona, I…. I remembered everything.” He admitted. “I... I’m sorry.”
“Why are you sorry to me, Seunggi-ah?,” Yoona smiled at him, pretending to have no clue on what Seunggi was saying.
“I.. I love her.” he admitted to her.
She paused for a moment before she looked at him straight in the eyes, “I know. I’ve always known. I saw her pictures inside your computer and I knew she was someone special to you, at least before you lost your memories. And I hoped that you will never recover, so that you’ll always be mine.”
“I’m sorry, Yoona.” He apologized.
“Then what about us?” she asked him quietly.
“Yoona,” he held her hand, “I like you, I really do. But I….”
“Forget it; I don’t want to hear it anymore.” She let go of his hand, covered her ears and turned away, “21. She’s in room no. 21.”
“Yoona, thank you.”
“I don’t want to be pathetic and hang on to a man who doesn’t love me.” She said, “And I hate to be rejected, so I will tell you this first, I want to cancel our engagement.” Then she left the room.

He opened the door to Chaerin’s hospital room and saw GD sitting beside Chaerin’s bed. GD saw him limping and helped him out, “How is she?” Seunggi asked.
“She’s just asleep. She has been asking for you ever since she woke up.” GD replied him.
“I want to talk to you, hyung.” Seunggi said and they went to sit at the sofa.
Seunggi admitted that he had recovered his memory back. “I love her, hyung.” Seunggi said, “And she loves me too.”
“What are you going to do? What about your fiancé?” GD asked.
“I have talked to her, hyung. Our engagement is off. I don’t want anyone else but Chaerin.” Seunggi firmly said.
Chaerin stirred in her sleep and the two guys turned to her. GD said, still looking at the sleeping Chaerin, “I just wish for you not to hurt her anymore. Promise me you’ll take good care of her.”
Seunggi nodded and GD patted his back and left the room.
Outside, he saw Yoona crying, and he approached her.
“Are you okay, Yoona-ssi?” GD asked.
She looked at him, “You’re her friend, aren’t you? To be honest, I’m not okay.” She sobbed, “He’s so mean! He really can’t wait to see her, can he?”
“They love each other.” GD suddenly said.
Yoona nodded, “I know.”
She remembered the way Seunggi looked at her as soon as she arrived at the party. Even after they left the groups and greeted his other guests, his eyes never once left her. When he excused himself, she saw him heading towards the exit, following Chaerin.
“What are you going to do?” GD asked her.
“I wish.. No. I want to be selfish and hold him tight…. But… he won’t be happy, would he? and he’s not mine to begin with..” she said. “I guess I have to let him go. I’m a coward”
“No you’re not..” GD said, surprised by her intention “you’re the bravest girl I’ve ever known. Seunggi is a lucky man.”
“But I love him so much.” She cried and GD awkwardly offered his shoulder to cry on. (No romantic feeling whatsoever people!! Don’t be alarmed :P)
And I love her so, GD admitted to himself.

In Chaerin’s room, Seunggi held her hand tight and confessed to the sleeping Chaerin, “I love you Chaerin-ah, I will never let you go again. I’ve loved you in the past, I love you even when I can’t remember you, and I’m sure I will always do.” He sobbed, “I’m sorry to put you through all this pain, Chaerin.”
“Really?” Chaerin asked weakly.
Seunggi raised his head and saw her staring at him, “Chaerin-ah, you’re awake?”
She smiled sweetly at him, “I heard everything you said.” And she raised her hand to wipe his tears from his face. “You can remember me again?” she asked him gently.
“I’m sorry Chaerin ah, I promise I will never ever forget you anymore.” He nodded.
She held out her pinky for him, “Pinky swear!” she said and he obliged laughing at her childishness.
“Tell me again,” Chaerin grinned, “Tell me that you love me again.”
“How could you eavesdrop on my confession?” Seunggi blushed.
“But it was meant for me right?” Chaerin pouted, “It’s so unfair! How can you confess when I’m sleeping!”
He leaned towards her all of a sudden and kissed her to shut her up. Still staring intently at her, he said, “I love you, Lee Chaerin.”
“I love you too, Lee Seunggi.”
