“Mr. Kim,” the second man said. “Is it news about her?” Mr. Kim asked. “There is... but before I say it, a woman came here and said something about ~~~~~.” the second man said. “About ~~~~~?” Mr. Kim asked. “Yes, she said she’s ~~~~~’s mother... and she wants to see her daughter for only one time.” the second man replied. “Is she still there?” Mr. Kim asked. “She’s gone. The guards sent her away.” the second man replied. “And the news about her” Mr. Kim asked.
“We found out that your true granddaughter is dead, along with her parents and brother. It happened during the earthquake.” the second man replied. “I see... I have nothing else left to do but to continue the first plan.” Mr. Kim said. “Is she going to be the heiress, sir?” the second man asked. “There’s no other choice.” the old man replied. “But she’s not a true blood of yours.” the second man asked.
“But I treat her now as one.” Mr. Kim replied. “Okay sir, I’ll be going now.” the second man said. He bowed and went out of the room.

“Jack.” KiBum said as he saw the man coming out from Mr. Kim’s room. “Sir KiBum, what can I do for you?” he asked. “Is Mr. Kim there?” KiBum asked. “Yes sir. He’s inside.” the man replied as he bowed to Kibum and started walking. KiBum knocked and said “Uncle, can I enter?”
“Come in.” Mr. Kim replied. KiBum entered and went behind Mr. Kim. “I’m just asking if how’s ~~~~~ after the party.” KiBum said. “Is it because of your proposal?” Mr. Kim asked. “Sort of.” KiBum replied. “I’m still taking care of the matters between her and that guy.” Mr. Kim replied. “That guy?” KiBum asked with a curious look. “Junsu.” Mr. Kim replied.
“Oh, that guy...” KiBum said. “Are you willing to marry my granddaughter even if she doesn’t love you?” Mr. Kim asked. “It’s still better if she marries me with love... but if it can’t be helped... it’s okay, I understand her.” KiBum replied. “So you say you’re not going to do anything.” Mr. Kim asked.
“It’s not like that, Uncle. What I mean is” “Then take her away. Marry her as soon as possible. Bring her anywhere else as long as she’s far from that brat.” Mr. Kim ordered. “I’ll do anything just to make you her husband.” he added. “But, isn’t it about time to let her decide for her own sake?” KiBum asked.
“There’s no such thing as her decision. She doesn’t know how to decide something good for herself still.” Mr. Kim said. “I want her... surely I want her... but I don’t want to see her sad. I’m going now, Mr. Kim. Sorry for the disturbance.” KiBum said. He bowed and left the room.
**Isn’t it about time to let her decide for her own sake?** “Hmp, she’ll only be unlucky if she chooses on her own.” Mr. Kim moaned.

“Dianne, where’s Aunt Emily?” you asked while eating. Dianne was standing beside you and watches you as you eat. “She went to the office with your grandpa.” she replied. “Ohh, they went out early.” you said. “Lady ~~~~~, where do you want to go today?” Dianne asked. “Why? Is there something important going on today?” you asked her back.
“Your grandpa said you should go out today so you will not be bored here.” Dianne replied. “Ahh, I see. Hey, Dianne, if I’ll be going somewhere, who’ll be going with me?” you asked her. “Uhm, only me and the driver.” Dianne replied. “[Heavy sight] Thank God, hey, I wanna go to” “But not to Junsu’s house.” Dianne interrupted. “Whaaat? You also stop me to go with Junsu? You guys are so mean.” you said. “I’m sorry, I’m just following your grandpa’s orders.” Dianne said.
“Hmp!” you pouted as you crossed your arms. **Never mind, I can go alone there anyway.** you thought and went outside the kitchen. “Lady ~~~~~, where are you going?” Dianne asked. “To my room. I’ll take a nap.” you replied. “But you’ve just awaken.” Dianne said. “Then I’ll go to the garden.” you said and went to the garden.
“[Heavy sighs] She really wants Junsu to be her friend.” Dianne said.

You were at your room when you heard your grandpa’s car honked. They’re back from work. You went down to greet your grandpa and auntie. They got down from the car and you kissed them both. You followed your grandpa. “Grandpa how’s your work today?” you asked. “It’s fine. But it’s always tiring.” he replied. “Dinner’s ready.” the chef announced. You went first into the kitchen. After a minute, your grandpa and auntie entered. They sat down and started eating.
You were thinking why they are quiet. You were just about to speak when your grandpa stood up and went out of the kitchen. “Auntie, is there something wrong with grandpa?” you asked. “None. Probably he’s tired up from work. I’ll get go first.” your auntie answered and stood up. **Hey, people today are so boring.** you thought.
You finished your dinner and went beside the door of your grandpa’s room. You eavesdropped on what they are talking. Unluckily, they were on the middle of something important and you don’t know what the subject is.
“Aww, why can’t I find out what they are talking to?” you whispered as you pushed your ear to the door.
Conversation:
“Emily, I want you to keep everything from her.” your grandpa said. “I’ll do it father. But what happened to them?” your Aunt Emily asked. “Jack said they all died.” he replied. “Died? From what?” she asked. “During an earthquake, maybe, their house got ruined and they were trapped inside the boulders that made them die.” he replied.
“So you mean we’ll continue what’s in store for her?” she asked. “We have nothing else left to do.” Mr. Kim replied as he sighed.
[End]
“What are they talking about?” you asked yourself. You were going to walk when you heard your auntie speak again. “What about ~~~~~ and KiBum?” she asked. “About the two of them... I’m still planning if I’ll continue what I told her. And KiBum doesn’t want to marry her if she will never feel anything for him.” Mr. Kim replied.
“Fixed marriage...” you whispered and walked to your room. You opened the door and lay upside down on your bed. “I wonder what they’re talking about.” you said.
