Chapter 30

Just a Rainy Day...

Junsu was sited on a chair on his room. He was alone in his room, his sisters were at the kitchen eating and watching T.V. He sighed… he sighs after sighs after sighs. He’s sad… and he can’t think clearly of anything, except calling you, for comfort. HE took out his phone and dialed your number.

“Hello?” you answered.
“~~~~~.” He said sadly.
“J-junsu… what’s the matter?” you asked, worried.
“Can I meet with you today?” he asked.
“O-okay… where?” you answered.
“At the park… right now.” He said and hung up.
You were surprised and looked at your cell phone. “Wow, that’s sudden.” You said.

You stood up and wore your hoody and your shoes. You went out of your room and went outside the mansion. You looked at the driver and told him to bring you to the park. After ten minutes, you were there. You went down from the car and looked everywhere. You saw Junsu sitting on the bridge, looking at the water. You ran your way to him. He sensed you coming but he did not turn around to look at you. “Junsu.” You called as you stood behind him. You went beside him.

He was quiet… he was looking at the water… you noticed that tears were already falling from his eyes. You held his hand and looked at the water.

“I don’t know what to do.” He said, as you can sense the sadness in his voice. “It seems like fate is playing with us.” He added. “And we’re not playing good. We’re losing.” He continued.
“Junsu… that’s not true.” You said.
“If it is not, then why are all these happening?! First you have to go to America, now… father.” He said. His angry voice slowly became a sad one as he says his words.
“Junsu, they are just obstacles to test you. To make you stronger.” You said.
“Huh! Obstacles.” He groaned. He then turned around and went down. His body faced you but his eyes were on the water. “Are you going to be by my side forever?” he asked.
“Of course.” You said and hugged him. HE hugged you back.
“Sorry if I’m being like this.” He whispered.
“It’s okay. I can understand it.” You said. He slightly pushed you away as a thunder roared on the sky. He kissed your lips as tears both flowed from the both of your eyes.

Soon, it started to rain. HE covered your head with both his hands. “Come on, let’s find somewhere to shade.” He said as he pulls you to a nearby waiting shed.

You both sat down there as the rain poured hardly. You were playing with your hands and Junsu was looking at nowhere. He has never been like this before. He would always say something or better to say, he would always be noisy.

You. You were just beside him… you cannot do anything, perhaps, you can’t think of something to make him feel better. You keep playing with your hands, you keep on tapping your foot to the ground and you whistle silently. You sighed and then started speaking.

“Junsu…” you said.
“Yes?” he answered.
“I… I don’t know what to say and… I don’t even know if I can help you… sorry. Sorry.” You said as you bows repeatedly to him.
“Wh-why are you saying sorry?” He asked.
“I… I can’t help you.” you said as you stopped bowing.
He smiled and hugged you. “Sweetheart, it’s okay with me.” He said.
“But… I’m your girlfriend and I can’t help you…” you said.
“It’s okay. I understand it. You’re not on my place so I know you may not have anything to say… its fine with me.” He said with a smile. His expressions suddenly changed into a slightly happy one.
“Junsu…” you said.
“I love you, ~~~~~.” He said.
You smiled. “I love you too. And I will always be here for you. Even though I can’t say something to make you feel better, I’ll just be here to make you smile…” you said and hugged him.
“Thanks.” He said.
