It was finally Friday. Yes, FRIDAY. The day Hebe goes on a date with ‘Mike’ who Arron really hates and doesn’t know why. Pretty weird, right? Anyways. Here it goes.
Students were rushing to school like any other day. Students have their own plans of what to do with their weekend.
“I’m so excited!” Hebe screamed happily as she continuously stomped her feet like a child. She had those gleaming eyes, full of enthusiasm for what’s coming ahead.
Selina and Genie smiled forcedly at Hebe and exchanged looks. Ella was scratching her head in annoyance. She faced Hebe and said, “Don’t get so hyped up about your date. Besides, it’s only the beginning of the day.”
“No, the day began at 12 am. It’s already 6:30,” said Hebe charmingly. Today, she totally acts like she’s in heaven.
A chilly wind blew as the four boys came. Arron was looking pretty weird today. It’s like a dark rain cloud is cast above his head. Not the usual annoying Arron Hebe knows of. Not the usual charming Arron his crazy girl fans know of.
“Why did the air suddenly become cold?” asked Selina as she hugged herself.
Arron stopped walking as soon as he reached Hebe’s side.
“You’re irritating,” He said without turning his head and continued. “By the way, don’t get near me if you just want to brag about your date with that ‘Mike’.” He then walked off and his bag slung over his shoulders. He left all of them completely puzzled.
“Cal, what’s with Arron? He’s actually frightening me,” Genie said as she gripped Calvin’s arm.
Calvin looked at her and blushed as he saw her grip on his arm. “We have no idea.”
Genie looked at why he was all stiff and saw that she was holding his arm. She immediately loosened her hold and looked at the other side. “Sorry.”
“It’s ok,” Calvin replied.
Hebe clenched her fist and shouted, “What is his problem?!”

It was Chemistry. Everyone was gathered in pairs for a certain lab activity.
“I can’t believe I’m stuck with an all-hyped-up-for-a-date girl,” said Arron sluggishly as he stared straight at the wall.
“Hey! I’m not an all-hyped-up-for-a-date type of girl!” Hebe put both her hands on her waist and faced Arron with much hatred.
Arron looked at her. “Then why were you asking Selina on what outfit would be nice for your date over and over again during lunch?” Arron faced front as he rested his cheeks on both his of hands. “And you’re telling me you’re not hyped-up. How annoying.”
“What the hell is wrong with you?” Hebe asked out of anger.
“You,” mumbled Arron as he went on with the experiment and hurriedly spoke. “Let’s get on with this experiment.”
“What did you say?” asked Hebe as she tilted her head to the side.
“I said,” Arron rolled his eyes and looked at her. “Let’s get on with this experiment.”
“No. No, the one you said BEFORE that.” Hebe looked at him, waiting for an answer.
Arron looked away and said, “I didn’t say anything.”
“You said something!”
“I didn’t!”
“Yes you did!”

Recess.
“Aiyo Hebe! You got detention because of fighting with Arron during Chem,” Selina said as they walked along the hallway to their lockers.
Genie butted in with a smile. “And worse is, you have a date with Mike later.”
Hebe stopped her tracks as she gasped. “Oh no! How can I prepare?! Detention ends at 4:20 and Mike’s gonna pick me up at 6!”
“Okay. Okay. Don’t panic,” Selina said, trying to calm Hebe down.
Ella said, “Let’s calculate. How many minutes you take to go home?”
“20 minutes.”
“Minutes you dress?”
“An hour and a half.”
Ella calculated all of this and answered, “You’re practically gonna be late for your date!” She beamed.
“What?!” Hebe dropped all of her books and said, “That can’t be!”
“Don’t worry, Hebe. Why don’t you dress at my place? It’s only 5 minutes walk to get there and I have a car so less than 5 minutes!” Selina suggested.
Hebe hugged Selina and said, “Thanks! You’re a life saver.”
“And—Ge—nie, save my—lif-e. She-‘s suff-o—cating mee!” Selina struggled for air.
“Sorry.” Hebe loosened the hug and flashed a toothy grin.
