Chapter 4

Following me.

“Taiwan, I’m back,” she whispered and flashed a smile.

Her phone beeped.

“Ughh… Where is that phone?” Hebe said as she searched her bag. “Ah. Here it is.”

“Wei.”

“Hebe! You’ve landed?” A girl’s voice said on the other line.

“Yup, I’m just going to get my luggage and will be there in a jiffy.”

The girl giggled adorably. “Okay. We’ll wait for you here. Bye!”

“Bye!” Hebe closed her phone and shoved it into her bag.

She went to the luggage counter and searched for her baggage.
Finally, she found it and set it on the floor.
Her phone beeped again.

“Wei?” Hebe said and there was no answer.

“WEI?”

“Damn phone,” she muttered and looked at the phone’s screen.

“Gah! A message! I need to change that confusing beep thingy to something like “ring” or “ting”,” She complained as she read the message.

Message:
Selina:

Oh! We will be waiting at Starbucks. See yah later!

Hebe closed her phone and searched for that Starbucks café.

She noticed that someone was following her. She quickened her pace.
Hebe was really nervous as she strode down the path quickly.

Who the heck is following me? She thought. She stopped and had enough. Then turned around, and guess what she saw…… It’s Mr. Yan.

Hebe’s faced was distorted a lil’ bit and shock was shown all over her face.

“What the----? Why are you following me?” asked Hebe and caught Arron’s attention.

Arron was in disbelief. “Excuse me? Am I following you?”

“You sure are,” Hebe said as she crossed her arms in front of her.

Arron chortled.

“Hey! There isn’t anything funny!” Hebe shouted, seriously irritated.

“Okay. First, I’m not following you,” said Arron as he raised on finger up.

“ Second, I’m finding this Starbucks café.” Arron added another finger.

“Third, you get out of my way,” said Arron as he walked pass Hebe and gave a smirk.

Hebe was really pissed. How dare he walk pass me like that? She thought.

She said a lough ‘ARGHH’ and went to find this café.

“I can’t believe him,” said Hebe as she strolls down the shops.

“First, He’s haughty and concieted. Then later on, he’s nice. Then a little bit later, he’s a flirt. And now…. He’s so impertinent,” Hebe muttered on and on until she noticed a sign that says ‘Starbucks Coffee’.

She stopped and analyzed the sign carefully.

“This gotta be it,” she said and went inside.

The coffee shop was really nice besides that it’s really popular. The ambiance of the place suits the coffee, which they sell.

Hebe spotted a group of friends chatting and laughing and smiled happily.

“Selina! Ella! Genie!” Hebe shouted as the others turned their heads and smiled to the fullest.

“Heeeebbbbeeeee!” said Ella, Selina and Genie as they ran over to Hebe and hugged her to death.

Hebe almost choked. “Guys, you could let me go now.”

They apologized and offered Hebe a seat on their table.

“Hebe, I’m so glad you’re finally back,” said Selina with a big smile on her lovely face.

Hebe sighed. “Me too. I miss this place… especially you guys.”

“Awww… so touching,” Genie said mockingly as she placed a hand over her chest.

“Genie, didn’t I say that…. I’m the only one allowed to do that?” Ella clarified.

Hebe smiled. “Still the same fights. Awww… I really missed you all.”

“Oh! Before we forget Hebe… Jiro and Chun are here with us today,” said Genie.

“Really? What do they look like? Uhmm… Genie, where the hell is your one and only?” Hebe asked teasingly as she could.

Genie’s cheeks reddened in embarrassment. “Calvin’s not my one and only!” She defended.

“Then why are you blushing mad?” Hebe asked as the rest laughed.

Luckily, Jiro and Chun came in together with a guy.

“Man, I can’t believe you did that to the flight attendant. I wouldn’t dare do that or else my father would chop off my head,” Chun explained together with a low laugh.

“Dude, in states… Chicks are HOT!” the guy explained.

Selina turned her attention to them. “Hey gals! Look they’re here.”

They all shifted their gaze to the guys who just came in.

Hebe had a smile as she glanced at them until her eyes wandered of the guy her smiled faded and was replaced by a shocked expression and irritancy.

“YOU? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!” Hebe shouted as her jaw dropped open.
