“~~~~ ah calm down” Yeon Hee murmured, you nodded and held on tightly to your tray as you waited in the lunch queue.
“Look he’s glaring right at me” you tilted your head to the right and Yeon Hee turned her head immediately, Jaejoong was staring at you with hateful eyes. You swallowed hard.
“Wow, he’s really angry” she whisperd and you grimaced and nodded.
“I know…what did I do?” you moaned and slapped yourself. *I’m so stupid, but he deserved what he got. Pfft making me move, what a dweeb!*
“I found it very amusing actually” Yeon Hee said grinning when you both had gotten your food and were now looking for a table.
“You would, you’re not the one he's creepily staring at” you said dejectedly and sat down when you found a free table.
“Oh look…if it isn’t the plastics” Yeon Hee pointed behind you, Jessica and her gang, SNSD, stepped into the cafeteria their stilettos clacking and clicking on the hard floor. “You know if the director for Mean Girls had given me a heads up, I would’ve recommended Jessica and another two of her cronies to play the role of the plastics” you sighed and rolled your eyes.
“Stop bashing them, they’re people you know”
“Yes but not very nice ones. I mean seriously, they’re worse than the Kingka’s” you stared at her with an incredulous look plastered on your face.
“I think you’re wrong. You can’t deny how cool they are, they get into everything Yeon Hee. Everything! Don’t you want that?” Yeon Hee shrugged.
“I’m not bothered, since when did you care about status and popularity anyway? You’ve got brains inside your head; unlike them…it’s just full of air. If you’re up close maybe you can hear it whooshing around” you almost cracked a smile but shook your head.
“That’s just it, I’m a nobody in this school. I just want to be known as Park ~~~~ ah, not uber nerd of the school” you pouted and poked your food with your chopsticks.
“You’re not a nobody, people know you”
“Yeah as a nerd”
“No, as a super duper smart person who’s really good at maths and science and…” you scowled and looked down.
“It’s the same thing unnie” you cut her off, Yeon Hee smiled and patted your shoulder comfortingly.
“It’s okay ~~~~~ ah, this is high school. We’ll be going to college soon, the big world waiting for Yeon Hee and ~~~~ ah” she said staring into the distance, you giggled and nodded.
“I guess, now let’s eat. I’m starving” the both of you happily dug into your food.
“Uh-oh, incoming Barbie” you looked up puzzled but stopped chewing the food in your mouth. Jessica and another girl called Yoona were walking towards you.
“Hi ~~~~ ah” Jessica greeted you in a sickly sweet voice.
“H-Hi” you gave a small wave.
“I was just thinking, since we’re both in the same History class, you know maybe you can help me with my essay”
“You mean do it for you” Yeon Hee whispered, Jessica glared at her before turning back to you with a smile.
“So what do you say, partner?” Jessica held out her hand, Yeon Hee shook her head to indicate to you to say no, but you nervously took her hand. “Great, so I’ll give you my notes at the end of the day. Later” she walked off back to her table, where all nine of them huddled up in a group.
“Omo! Did you see that?! Did you see that?! Jessica just talked to me! Omo!” but you felt a quick pain on your forehead “ouch! Yah” Yeon Hee lowered her hand as you realized she had just flicked you.
“Sorry did I just pull my friend back from Zombie land? You do realize Jessica’s going to make you do ALL of it” she emphasized on the word ‘all’.
“That’s not true, she’s nice and besides she said help”
“You know I’m starting to wonder now many brain cells you have”
“Yah! What are you saying?” you said loudly.
“It doesn’t take too much brain power to know and figure out that Jessica is a conniving selfish cow”
“Look I’m just helping her out. Maybe if she’s happy about my help, she’ll invite me to a party. And you can be my plus 1” you nudged Yeon Hee playfully.
“I don’t know” she hesitated.
“Come on, have a little fun in your life. Hey want to do a long calculation with me to cheer you up?” Yeon Hee widened her eyes in horror.
“I’d rather help Jessica…okay fine you help her. Just be careful” Yeon Hee warned you.
“I will be” the bell rang for the end of lunch, and you both went to your next lesson. Yeon Hee heading for a performing arts class, whilst you headed for advanced class.
The bell rang for the end of the day and you packed your bag and headed out to the front of the school to wait for Jessica.
“~~~~ ah!” you turned around.
“Yeon Hee unnie!” you said happily.
“I’m going to have to stay at school for a little longer since I’ve got this whole rehearsal, I’ll see you tomorrow. And remember be careful around Jessica”
“I will bye” you waved and she headed for the school. You waited another 2 minutes and you saw Jessica teetering in her heels after Jaejoong. You overheard parts of their conversation.
“But oppa!” Jessica whined. Jaejoong gave her a cold look.
“I’m not interested, stop following me okay”
“But oppa! I want to come to the mall with you too!”
“Well tough you can’t, stop f*cking stalking me” then Jaejoong left to talk to his friends. Jessica huffed, and you thought it was a good time to ask her about the history essay.
“What do you want nerd!” Tiffany hissed at you, you took a step back and nervously glanced down at your feet.
“It’s fine Tiffany, here these are all my notes” then she walked away, you took a quick look at her notes. There were three lines. You looked at the scraggly piece of paper.
“Jessica ssi!” she turned around with an irritated look.
“You don’t have enough notes” you continued.
“What?!”
“You don’t have enough notes” you repeated, *people are really slow today* you thought.
“And I care because…” Jessica gave you an intimidating look. You blushed.
“Well urmm…”
“Speak faster nerd we don’t have all day” Jessica said, you blinked at her harsh words.
“Sica hurry, they’re leaving” Taeyeon said pointing at the DBSK boys who were getting into their cars. Jessica sighed.
“Take her” she ordered Yoona.
“What?” Yoona exclaimed.
“I said take her!!” Jessica shouted and they immediately moved. Two girls dragged you into a car, and you nervously looked out the window *No...my long calculation time..gone!!* you wailed in your head.
Jessica meanwhile grinned evilly as an evil plan was forming in her twisted brainless mind.
