“Where are we going?” you asked nervously in the back seat.
“Be quiet” Tiffany hissed from the front passenger seat, you sunk back into your own seat and prayed they wouldn’t do anything.
“Be nice Tiffany, I want to introduce you to my new friend” Jessica said looking at you through the rear view mirror.
“What?!” Tiffany, Yoona and Sunny cried out loudly.
“Jess you’ve got to be joking” Sunny said.
“You’re inviting a nerd to hang out with us?!”
“You’re going to ruin our reputation!”
“Guys!” Jessica yelled making the car silent, you blinked nervously “1. I’m not joking I’m serious 2. She’s a nerd, but not for long” you didn’t understand what she meant by that, so you sat up a little in your seat and cleared your throat.
“Urmm, what do you mean? I have to go home, I have advanced homework to do and…”
“~~~~ ah, I thought you wanted to hang out with us?” Jessica said. You hesitated.
“Yes but-…”
“And now we’re asking you, you don’t?”
“I do but-…”
“Then it’s settled from now on, you’re one of us” Jessica declared, of course the three girls protested saying hurtful words like ‘nerd’ and ‘social pariah’. They seemed to forget about your presence entirely and continued arguing.
“Just shut up, I say she’s one of us and that’s final” Jessica said putting an end to the argument.
You all had finally reached the mall and you hopped out the car.
“Jessica if you’re doing this as a thank you for me helping you with your essay, then it’s okay” you said to her, she smiled down at you. Somehow the smile was unsettling, it was far too bright and somehow scary.
“No it’s okay, I want you to join” you felt your insides dancing; this was what you’d been waiting for. A chance to show people your true self, a chance to be you.
“R-Really?” Jessica nodded excitedly.
“Yes but first to prove you’re dedicated and the right choice, you have to go through a test” your face scrunched up in confusion.
“Yes a test, we all did it. Didn’t we girls” Jessica looked back at the others and they looked just as confused as you.
“We did?” Tiffany said perplexed, Jessica stood on her foot making her wince in pain. “Ow-aah I mean we did” she corrected controlling the urge to fall to the ground and cry.
“Oh, is it hard?” you asked cautiously, Jessica shrugged and smiled.
“Not really, depends on the person. But you’re a nerd…I mean you’re smart” you sheepishly nodded and different scenarios ran through your head. Stealing a bar of soap, failing a test *no…they can’t ask me to do that. I’m a straight A student, and I’m the Valedictorian!*.
“Is it really necessary, I mean isn’t it supposed to be like a friendship group. Personality counts right?” you said trying to make your way out of a sticky situation.
“And what expect us to have slumber parties and braid each other’s hair?” Yoona said sarcastically, your eyes shifted to her. You’d had enough of her irrelevant snide remarks, and you decided ignoring her would be the best solution right now.
“~~~~~ ah, don’t think of it as a test. Just think, it could be your way to popularity, your Ladder to Success” Jessica tried to persuade you. “It’s your only chance ~~~~~ ah, take it or leave it”
“Okay” you replied without a thought, you didn’t even think about the consequences. All that ran through your mind was the fact that you were being invited to join the most popular people in the entire school! Sure beats maths Olympics!
“Great” then Jessica scanned the mall for anything, then her beady hawk eyes spotted what she had wanted to see. *And my brilliant plan starts now* “I want you to make Kim Jaejoong ask you to the school dance” you felt your jaw drop open, you felt like banging your ears, to check if you heard right.
“Kim Jaejoong? The Kingka Kim Jaejoong? The asshole Kim Jaejoong?” you hoped she would say no but she confirmed that it was Kim Jaejoong, the Kingka. Your knees trembled and your palms began to sweat. *Oh god, help me!*

TVFXQSOULMYC =| : Yeah Unnie, Annyeong dongsaeng lol, never had one before. Yeah ~~~~ ah's pretty stupid for doing the essay, but ~~~~ ah thinks Jessica's nice, so then it does kind of make ~~~~ ah seem stupid. Yeah the plastics...I had to add it in. *Snickers back* hehe.
