Jiyong grabbed his phone and called his bestfriend, hoping that he could help him. It took about 10 rings before his bestfriend answered the call.
“Bro, I need your help.” Kwon Jiyong said on the phone.
He waited for a response but all he got was a scream from Seung-ri, who screamed like a girl. He then heard a loud thud before the call got cut off.
Jiyong raised his eyebrow because of his weird bestfriend.
He was about to try to call him again when his bestfriend beat him to it. He answered the call and repeated what he said early.
“Bro, I need your help.” He said once again.
“What kind of help?” his bestfriend asked.
“Doorami caught me and Dara making out and she’s won’t leave the two of us alone. She’s watching our every move. And guess where I am now? I’m in my bathroom because it’s the only place where Doorami won’t follow.” Jiyong explained.
“So, what do I need to do?” Seung-ri asked.
“That’s why I called you. You come with a solution. Make Doorami leave us alone.” Jiyong said almost impatiently.
“Ewww... You’re saying that I should… date your sister? No way. She’s young!” Seung-ri exclaimed.
“No stupid. You pretend to take Dara to a date. Then, I’ll pretend to take Chaerin to a date. Then, two pairs will accidentally meet in a restaurant and we’ll change partners. But in Doorami’s mind, Dara and I are not doing all the deeds anymore since she’s dating you now. Get it?” Jiyong told his bestfriend of the plan he came out with because he realized that his bestfriend couldn’t think of these genius plan.
“Wait? You mean, I have to date… Chaerin?” Seung-ri said before he gulped.
“Oh come on. You want those kinds of girls. She couldn’t be that bad, right?” Jiyong said.
Seung-ri mumbled something which of course, Jiyong didn’t understand.
“What did you just say?” Jiyong questioned.
“I said… YES. I’ll do it. Now, I have to go. Bye!” Seung-ri said before he ended the call.
---------------------------------------------------
Dara couldn’t believe how much of a genius Jiyong was. Seung-ri just fetched her and she couldn’t help but smile after seeing her sister’s expression. Doorami had this oh-I-am-so-relieved expression on her face. Tsk…tsk… if only she knew.
Seung-ri, on the other hand, was very quiet in the entire car ride to the restaurant. Dara asked him why he was so silent but he just gave him a nervous smile and continued to drive.
They arrived in the restaurant after a few minutes. Seung-ri help Dara to take a seat and took a seat after she’s all settled down.
Seung-ri’s eyes darted towards the entrance. And he saw Jiyong partly dragging Lee Chaerin inside. He stared at Dara and let out a nervous laugh.
“Wow. What a coincidence. You’re here too? Why don’t we share a table?” Dara said to Jiyong and Chaerin.
Since Seung-ri and Dara were seated across each other, Jiyong let Chaerin seat beside Seung-ri while he took a seat beside Dara.
Once dinner was served, Jiyong and Dara were the ones talking while the other two remained silent. It was as if they would choke if they speak anything. But, Jiyong and Dara were rather enjoying this moment that they didn’t even thought of their dates.
After dinner, they decided to go home. Jiyong and Dara really had a great time while the other two was in a hurry to go home because maybe of… indigestion.
“I really had fun. But, I’m so tired. Errr… Bro, why didn’t you tell me that you and Chaerin are neighbours? Anyway, can you just bring her home? I’ll bring Dara home too. Let’s save the earth!” Jiyong reasoned out… which was rather lame. Oh come on, let’s save the earth?
Dara eyed her bestfriend as if asking her why Chaerin didn’t say it to her. Chaerin, on the other hand, put a fake smile and grabbed Seung-ri in the collar, dragging him towards this car.
They said goodbye and then, they headed home.
It was already late, about 11 pm or so, but the lights in their house was still on. Jiyong opened the front door and he was greeted while a slap on his face.
Gi-ran was holding several pictures on her left hand as she slapped his son.
“How could you do this Jiyong? Of all the people in the world, why did you have to do this with Dara? Why are you being like your father?” Gi-ran said with a shaky voice. She was crying madly and so was Doorami, who was sitting beside Sanghyun who was confused on what was happening.
Mr. Park, on the other hand, was massaging his temples because of a head-splitting headache. He never thought that Dara… his Dara… could do this.
“What are you talking about?” Jiyong yelled.
Gi-ran roughly handed him the pictures and Jiyong couldn’t believe that such pictures could be taken. The pictures were stills of their make out session in the elevator during the reception.
Dara grabbed it with shaky hands from Jiyong and tears couldn’t help but fall from her eyes.
“Where did you get this?” Jiyong asked.
“It doesn’t matter! Now, get out of this house.” Gi-ran told Jiyong.
Jiyong stared at his mom before turning around to walk towards this car. Dara stopped him but Dara’s father commanded Dara to get inside. Dara felt so weak because she couldn’t do anything. This was all her fault and he was the one suffering.
“Dara honey. Come here sweetie. You don’t need to worry honey. He won’t touch you again. I’m really sorry. It’s all his father’s fault. It’s part of their womanizing genes.” Gi-ran said as she hugged Dara.
But Dara couldn’t let him leave. Dara couldn’t watch him getting all the blame while all of them felt as if she was the victim. She liked being with Jiyong. She wanted to be with Jiyong. But, why was he the only one leaving?
Dara pushed Gi-ran off her.
“I’m 20 years old and I know what I’m doing. I’m so sorry but all that Jiyong did to me… I permitted it. I… I love him.”
With that, Dara took a seat in Jiyong’s car and told him to drive.
