YoungBae went downstairs with DongWook. I went to my room to sleep for a really long time.
I had to pass SeungHyun's room to get to my room. The door was wide opened but I didn't see SeungHyun. I tip toe in when the door closes lightly. I turn around to see SeungHyun was leaning against the door with tears coming from his eyes. Why would he cry?
He starts approaching me with his hands up so he would think I wouldn't be afraid. I backed up until I reached the wall.
SeungHyun: "I won't hurt you. I promise."
MiYoung: "Then let me out!"
I try to walk past him but he stops me. He kneals down in front of me and hugs my hips. What is he trying to do?
He leans his head against my stomach and he starts to cry silently.
SeungHyun: "MiYoung....I'm sorry....I'm sorry.....I'm sorry for hurting you...For wasting your time...For causing you pain..."
He hugged me for a few more moments and stood up. His tears stained my shirt but I didn't care. I give him a weak smile and leave the room.
(SeungHyun's POV)
That smile makes me wonder. Did she forgive me? Does she hate me more? Does she think I'm pathetic? She would have laughed at me if she did.
I still smell like MiYoung's signature scent, apple blossoms. I decided not to shower for a night and fell asleep.
(MiYoung's POV)
I don't know what to do about SeungHyun. Was he kidding or did he mean it? Was he going to control himself like JiYong does? I don't know. I'll find out in time.
I go back to my room and shut the door. I change into a purple tee shirt and take off YoungBae's jeans. I put my other clothes in the closet, turn off the lights and dozed off.
When I was very close to falling asleep, the door opened and I put the cover over my face to block the light and the face of the person from my view.
Someone pulled off the covers. It was YoungBae. He laid down next to me and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. His chest was pressed against my injured arm but it didn't hurt.
YoungBae: "Goodnight!"
MiYoung: "Sweet dreams!"
(NEXT DAY: BEFORE NOON)
(YoungBae's POV)
As always, I wake up alone. MiYoung always wakes up early even if there is nothing to do. I sit up and get ready for whatever is going to come.
I pass SeungHyun's room and he's just sitting on his bed in deep thought. I decide not to talk to him and go to the living room.
MiYoung was sitting on the couch with DongWook, SeungRi and DaeSung watching cartoons. The cartoon ended when MiYoung noticed me. She got up and gave me a hug. I followed her into the kitchen.
JiYong was sitting by himself eating something that smelled really good.
YoungBae: "Can I get some food?"
MiYoung: "Of course."
She gets a bowl and dishes out food from a wok on the stove. She gives me a spoon and the bowl. I taste it and keep on eating.
YoungBae: "Where did you learn to cook Chinese food?"
MiYoung: "From my mother and the internet."
JiYong and I smile. JiYong looked really tired.
YoungBae: "Were you up writing lyrics?"
JiYong: "Yeah. It was worth it."
He probably wrote them for MiYoung's future activities. Or mine, I might never know.
MiYoung keeps up company as we eat. I asked for 2 more helping of food before I was full. JiYong had 3 more servings. Songwriting must make a person hungry at times.
I wonder what SeungHyun is doing now. Probably the same thing since I last saw him.
(SeungHyun's POV)
I can't get that smile out of my head. What does it mean?
I hear light footsteps coming down the hallway. I hope it's MiYoung. I have a lot to ask her.
It was MiYoung. She walked into my room and stood in front of me, expressionless as usual.
SeungHyun: "Do you forgive me?"
MiYoung: "Depends."
I was ready to do what I did last night but resisted since she was in her underwear.
SeungHyun: "Yes or no?"
MiYoung: "Maybe. I don't think I would be able to forget what you did. I'm just starting to forget what JiYong did."
SeungHyun: "But JiYong almost killed you."
MiYoung: "I'd rather be dead than raped. Wouldn't you?"
SeungHyun: "I...I...No."
MiYoung: "I'll give you an answer in time."
She pats me on the shoulder and turns to leave. I get up and grab her hand. She turns back around. I give her a peck on the lips and feel a few shocks go through my whole body. It soon turned to a real kiss when I pulled her closer. She started to kiss me back after a while. I never thought she would react this way. I always pictured her pushing me away if I ever did this. My dream come true.
She pulled away. Before she left, she said a few words that made me forget about the kiss.
MiYoung: "That was nice but I still don't forgive you."
