JiYong told me not to get up so I'm stuck sitting on the floor. I can't help but eavesdrop.
I move toward the door, careful to move at any moment so I won't get caught or hit with the door.
JiYong: "What did you buy?"
I heard rustling of bags. I wish they said what they bought!
I heard JiYong walk closer to the door and I scoot back to where I was.
At the doorway stood JiYong and DongWook. I still had my beanie on.
DongWook: "What's the surprise?"
I took off my beanie and DongWook's jaw dropped.
DongWook: "...MiYoung ah~...Are you crazy?!?! You didn't get the whole rainbow?!?!"
I burst out laughing as I fall back on my head, still laughing. That was probably the funniest reaction I got so far. They sat with me on the floor and helped me sit up. I was about to put my beanie back on but DongWook snatched it away.
DongWook: "You're not hiding that again!"
MiYoung: "I want to surprise the others!"
He hands back the beanie and I put it on. They get up in 10 minutes when someone else came home. Once again, they told me to sit. Do they know how left out I feel? They probably have a little secret up their sleeves.
I get up and put my purchases away where they won't get lost or ruined.
It was only 4pm but I was tired from walking and waiting in the mall. I fall asleep before my body hits the bed.
(THREE HOURS LATER)
I wake up to hear a few voices. I check to see if I still have my beanie on before sitting up. Someone had covered me with a blanket.
Everyone came home but I was surpised that my sister wasn't among the mix of people.
No one was in my room. I stand up and stretch. When I was about to open the door, it opens itself slowly. I take a step back and YoungBae enters. He hugged me before walking around to relax on the bed. I walk out of the room and close the door.
(YoungBae's POV)
Damn! I could have said something to her but I didn't know how to put it in words. I couldn't keep this secret from her long. She's going to find out somehow. I grab her phone off the table and start looking through the history. A lot from JiYong and DaeSung. Some from Japanese friends and family. There were a few international friends from USA, Taiwan, Vietnam, UK and Canada. She must get around a lot. I put her phone back where it was and fall asleep.
(MiYoung's POV)
I wonder what YoungBae was doing with my sister. 'Something sweaty': SeungHyun's and EunHye's favorite words. Ha!~
No one was in the living room. I went into the kitchen to see DaeSung and JiYong eating ice cream pops. From the smell, it was melon flavor.
MiYoung: "Is there anymore?"
JiYong: "Freezer."
I open the freezer and take one out. I taste it and it was really good. I never tried it before.
DaeSung: "Why are you wearing a hat?"
JiYong: "Come on MiYoung! Show DaeSung!"
I pull off my beanie while I take a bite of my ice cream. DaeSung smiled when he saw my hair.
MiYoung: "You like it?"
DaeSung: "A lot. Who's idea was it?"
MiYoung: "I picked purple. JiYong picked blue."
DaeSung held his hand up and I gave him a light high five.
DongWook and SeungRi came in and took ice cream too. They smiled at my new hair.
SeungRi: "She looks cuter with colorful hair."
MiYoung: "I still have my old color so it's not the weird, is it?"
DongWook: "It looks cool. You're really going to catch a lot of attention."
We finish our ice creams and leave the room. I go to SeungHyun's room.
He was wearing his reading glasses. I never knew he could look so good with them.
He was reading a book so I sat next to him and read along.
SeungHyun: "Hey, Rainbow."
He closed his book and looked at me. Oh my god, I think I'm going to die just looking at him. So sexy~
I giggle and he pinches my cheek softly. Everytime I giggle, SOMEONE has to pinch my cheek. Ha!~
SeungHyun: "What have you been up to today?"
MiYoung: "Shopping with JiYong and sleeping."
SeungHyun: "Shopping can be tiring, can it?"
MiYoung: "When you have to wait, it does."
(SeungHyun's POV)
Gosh~ I thought I would never be this close to MiYoung again. I must control myself or I will lose her completely.
She keeps on smiling at me and I'm trying my best not to blush from having all of her attention on me.
MiYoung: "Where did you go today?"
SeungHyun: "The mall with SeungRi, DaeSung and DongWook."
MiYoung: "What did you buy?"
SeungHyun: "Some clothes and shoes."
If I told her what else I bought, she'd be hunting for it all day.
A few hairs fell on her face and she was trying to blow them away. I brush them away for her. She smelled like melon ice cream.
MiYoung: "You should get some ice cream. It tastes really good."
SeungHyun: "I already did earlier."
We didn't have much to talk about so she got up to leave. I got up and followed her up.
(MiYoung's POV)
I could feel my face heat up as SeungHyun followed me. We walk into JiYong's room and SeungHyun shuts the door. The bathroom door was closed so JiYong was probably in there.
I turn toward SeungHyun and look up at him. He was almost a head taller than me. I never noticed.
SeungHyun: "Are you and Youngbae okay?"
MiYoung: "Sort of. I really don't know. He changed a lot. He thinks I'm annoying and a burden. I saw him with my sister at the mall. They were so close. This was after he apologized to me. I thought he was acting but he got on his knees and cried for me to stay. It broke my heart to see him cry."
I felt a few tears fall from my eyes. SeungHyun pulled me close and hugged me.
SeungHyun: "Don't worry. He said himself that he wouldn't date any other girl."
MiYoung: "When?"
SeungHyun: "When I passed him in the mall."
I hug him closer as JiYong walked out of the bathroom. he hugged me from behind.
JiYong: "Don't cry. Everything's going to be fine."
They let go of me and sit me on JiYong's bed. They stand in front of me looking down. JiYong handed me a tissue box and I blew my nose and wiped my tears.
JiYong: "Feels good getting all of that out, right?"
MiYoung: "Yes."
I check my watch. It was 9pm. Time flew by fast. I could hear footstep pass approaching the door. Soon I saw the person pass by. He was dressed in clubbing clothes. I had trouble recognizing him.
