(NEXT MORNING)
The stubborn couple woke up different sides on the bed. The first one to wake up was YoungBae. He rolled over so he was close to HyeSun again. A smile creeped on his face when her eyes fluttered open. She got off the bed like he wasn't there. She must have been too tired to notice that YoungBae was still there. She thought he left last night when she fell asleep. YoungBae watched her walk into the bathroom and close the door. He went back to his apartment to do his morning routine. He planned on going back to HyeSun's apartment at lunch time.

HyeSun walked out of her bathroom to her empty bedroom. She went straight to her computer and started listening to music to keep her busy. Sometimes, she would get up and dance to an upbeat song. She wished she saw YoungBae dance yesterday. He just might have some talent.
She started dancing through her apartment, on furniture and while cooking. This kept her mind off how lonely she is in her apartment by herself. Even if YoungBae was next door, she started missing him already.

She ate her breakfast and lunch while watching news. Mostly on crime. That's what she hated most about being in NYC. Most of the news is crime. Why couldn't they talk about something good? Why did there have to be criminals in the world? She asked herself so many questions until she heard the doorbell ring. She didn't think it would be YoungBae. She looked through the peephole to see YoungBae standing there and waiting for her to open the door. She admired his profile before opening the door. They welcomed each other with a hug. He followed into the kitchen where she quickly finished her lunch which was a bologna and cheese sandwich. Usually, she would make a big feast of food for herself but she was a little lazy today. When she was about to eat the last bite, YoungBae snatched it out of her hand and ate it. He had a cheesy smile on his face which made his eyes go small. She ignored his cuteness for a moment.

"I was still hungry! Why did you take it?" She narrowed her eyes and shoved her face toward YoungBae's face. Their faces were so close but only YoungBae wanted to kiss her. He leaned in to kiss her but she turned her head and the kiss landed on her cheek.

"I can't even kiss my girlfriend good morning. Aish!~" He started looking for some food to eat. "You have so much food. Why are you complaining about that little sandwich?" He started pulling out some chicken and steak from the back of her freezer.

"What are you going to do?" HyeSun asked from behind.

"I'm going to cook. Is that a problem?" He turned toward her and waited for her answer. She shook her head and he started to cook as she messed with her phone by the kitchen table. She offered to help but he told her that he was fine cooking by himself. HyeSun watched as he moved around the kitchen. She had the urge to wrap her arms around him or even slap his butt as a joke but she didn't want to disturb him yet.

When YoungBae finished cooking, her entire apartment had a strong aroma from the food. She could get used to this aroma if YoungBae came over to cook more for her. He carried the food to the table and sat down across from her. He really made a delicious feast. She thought men didn't like to cook and thought women should be the ones who cook for them. She was completely wrong about YoungBae. The other men didn't matter to her anyway.

He immediately started digging into the food without looking up at HyeSun. He must have been really hungry. After finishing one plate of food, he looked up at her.

"You like it?" HyeSun nodded eagerly as she continued onto her second plate of food.

They finished every single piece of food within 40 minutes. Not only are they the stubborn couple but they are also the big eating couple. LOL~

HyeSun collected all the plates and carried them to the sink. She quickly washed them all and turned around to see YoungBae missing. She walked out of the kitchen and back to her room. YoungBae was sitting by her desk, reading her diary. HyeSun sneaked over to him and snatched her diary out of his grasp. His eyes traveled up to her face.

"Hi?" said YoungBae as innocently as he can.

"Don't be so innocent. I already caught you so there's no point. Besides, what's so interesting about my diary? If you want to know something, you can just ask. I have nothing to hide."

"If you had nothing to hide, you'll let me read your diary," He did have a point.

"But that diary is personal. Don't let me find your nosy self reading my diary again," She poked his chest and sat down on her bed.

"Okay," She didn't say he couldn't read her diary when she wasn't there, right? He wasn't going to tell her that. YoungBae leaned back on the chair as he stared at HyeSun's back. She was leaning over toward the nightstand. YoungBae turned toward her desk and grabbed her phone. He put his number in and took a picture of himself. By the time she turned back to him, her phone was back in its exact spot.

"Want to go anywhere later?" asked HyeSun.

"Sure. How about the park?" YoungBae insisted.

"In an hour. Let me rest," HyeSun took off the sweater and put it on the nightstand. She laid down and pulled the cover over her body.

"You always sleep this much?"

"Only when I don't have work. I need to catch up on some sleep for work tomorrow."

"Will I be able to see you tomorrow?"

"After 7PM. You can have me all to yourself if you're that selfish," She turned over and faced him. He admired her body even if it was covered by a thick blanket.

"I'm not selfish. Is there something wrong with wanting to spend time with you?" YoungBae leaned on the armrest and raised an eyebrow suggestively. HyeSun pulled the covers over her face. YoungBae went over to her bed and pulled the cover off her body.

"Now you're just being mean. Now I'm cold again," She tugged the cover back on her body. YoungBae slid himself under the covers and hugged HyeSun's small body to keep her warm. If he didn't know her real age, he would have thought she was a high school student or even a middle school student since most woman he saw were taller. He liked HyeSun just the way she was. If she was taller than him, he would feel a little awkward at times. YoungBae wondered if HyeSun thought he was short for a man since she probably noticed the height distance between him and his friends.

"Can I ask you a question?" HyeSun nodded. "Am I short?"

HyeSun touched his cheek and said, "Not to me. Besides, height doesn't matter. All that matters is this," She patted his beating heart. Her touch only made his heart beat a little faster. "So what if you're shorter than your friends? I love you just the way you are," Her smile assured YoungBae that she was telling the truth. "You don't see me complaining about my height so you shouldn't do that either. Okay?" YoungBae nodded. "Good. Anything else on your mind?"

"Are you sure I'm not a bad luck charm to you?" asked YoungBae.

"I already gave you my answer. If you don't believe me, I can't help you," HyeSun moved back a few inches when YoungBae removed his arm from her waist.

"Am I weird?" YoungBae didn't know how that question popped up.

"Yes you are," HyeSun chuckled at his question and her answer.

"I know I am. Just wanted to see if you thought the same," They felt like kids talking about this.

"Why are you so interested in my diary? Would you like it if I went through your stuff without permission?" YoungBae was taken back from her question.

"No," He answered. If she looked through his personal items without permission, she would think he's even weirder than anyone she ever met. Then she might not want to date him. He wouldn't want that to happen. It was only his guess but the only way to find out was just let time pass as they grow closer.

"My point exactly. If you want to snoop, at least you can ask me first. I don't mind unless," Before she could finish her sentence, YoungBae pulled her into a tight embrace and kissed her. He caught her off guard but she didn't mind. This kiss just made her realize how YoungBae was an experienced kisser. Probably because his lips kissed at least 3 other women in the past. HyeSun realized a lot more about YoungBae. He was probably the loneliest, saddest, sweetest man she ever met. That all could change in time. HyeSun just wondered if she would turn out like them. Dead. The kiss just made her realize that she had to be there for YoungBae.
