her in the shoulder. JiJae broke out of her daze and turned
to see JaeJoong who had been nudging oppa. "Huh? What
oppa?" She said confused. "Pay attention. Miss Yoon
might scold you." He said. "You're already scolding
me." She said. "Only cause I care about you." He said.
JiJae smiled, though she knew he meant it like a friend.
Soon the class was over, and they all headed out of
school to go home. JaeJoong walked with her.
"Why do you always daze off in 6th period?" He asked
as they walked along the sidewalk. "Because I have other
things to think about, besides derivatives and about
parent function graphs." She said. "Like what?" He
asked. "You." She thought, and hoped she didn't say it
out loud. "Like what?" He asked again. "Like..what's
for dinner, and what I'm going to do for summer break."
SHe said. "oh" JaeJoong said. Soon they got to her
house. JiJae thanked him and waved goodbye going into
her house.
Soon the last day of school was over, JiJae was taking
her morning run in the park, when she stopped abruptly
she saw JaeJoong and SeulGi. SeulGi was saying something
while JaeJoong had a serious expression. Then what
happened next, was painful. SeulGi kissed JaejOong
suddenly. JaeJoong broke apart from her quickly, and turned
around angry, and he saw JiJae there with a shocked
and hurt expression. "JiJae." He said. She turned around
and ran off quickly. She ran and ran, many blocks, as
tears fell down her face. She ended up at the beach. She
stopped, running and kneeled on the sand, gasping for
air. She heard running in front of her and looked up to
see JaeJoong had followed all that way. She looked away
from him. "JiJae." He said, softly. "What?" She said,
making her voice ice cold. "I.. SeulGi she.." He
started to say. "it doesn't matter. I shouldn't care
go be happy oppa." She said. "No. She kissed me.
I can't be happy with her." he said. She looked up
at him. "Why's that?" SHe asked. He helped her stand up.
"Because she's not you." He said. JiJae looked at him
disbelieving. "What?" SHe said. JaeJoong sighed.
"I like you. Not Seulgi. She was just trying to make
trouble." He explained. "I.um." She said. JaeJoong
took this chance and took her face in his hands and
kissed her as the sun set across the horizon.
