Heawon said with a sigh to her older friend Isa, as
they sat outside of the ice creamery eating ice cream,
as it was a very hot and sunny day. Isa stopped
eating her icecream, and placed the spoon in her cup
and then spoke. "So? Did Jandi let the fact that
the guy she liked was Go JunPyo who was a really rich
guy? No. Oh, wait. Did he confess first? Uh. Well you
get what I mean right dongseng?" Isa said to her.
"Deh." Heawon said nodding. "So, you have to be
brave and tell him." Isa told her. Heawon looked
doubtful. "But I think SoHee unni is eyeing him."
Heawon sighed. "Ahn Sohee? That little.. *ahem* I mean.
So? She might be popular like him. But that girl
has some narcissistic issues." Isa said. Heawon nodded.
"Yeah, but have you seen how she danced Freakum
Dress for the talent show?" Heawon sighed and continued.
"They both dance well, both popular,.." Heawon trailed
off. Isa sighed. "Dongseng. So what if they're so
similar. From what I've seen I think he likes you.
Plus. As my physics teacher kept saying in my recent
unit in that class. "Opposites attract. This doesn't
just apply to charges. It applies to people as well.
Besides you and Taemin are nomu gyupda. hamke." Isa
laughed and then added. "Did I say that right?" She
asked Heawon. "Not exactly. But I get what you mean
thanks Unni." Heawon said. "Mhmm. Be brave. Hwaiting!"
Isa said, encouraginly. Heawon nodded with a smile.
ANd they threw their finished icecream cups away.
Then they went to the SHINee apartment to join
their friends in whatever they were doing, whether
it was playing cards, Wii, or karaoke.
When they got to the SHINee apartment, the
guys were there, playing Super Mario kart on the Wii,
and their other friends, HyoSoo, Jiyeon, and Sohyun,
were already there. "Unni, dongseng." The girls
said to Isa and Heawon. The girls greeted them back.
They said hi to the guys as well. Isa saw some room
to sit in between Taemin, who was waiting to play
the Wii, and to her right was Minho. She saw
Heawon about to sit down next to Taemin. So she
"accidentally" bumped Heawon as she sat down to
sit in between Heawon and Minho. This caused Heawon
to bump Taemin, and instead of doing a face plant on
the carpet, he caught her in his arms. "Eh. Sorry.
I've been getting a little hippy lately." Isa said to
Heawon innocently. Heawon pulled back from Taemin,
slightly embarrased and looked at Isa with a
"what are you doing?" Isa just shrugged and
pretended to be engrossed in watching the competition
between Key and Jonghyun. "Eh. Sorry oppa." Heawon
said, apologizing to Taemin. He smiled his aegyo
smile. "It's okay. Isa nuna probably should sit down
slowly or something." He said. Heawon laughed slightly
at this. "Yah." Isa said, overhearing. "Sorry nuna."
He said quickly. "He's too cute." Heawon thought to
herself. So they all took turns playing Wii. And then
someone walked through the SHINee apartment's open door.
Much to the dissapointment of Heawon and the disgust
of the rest of the girls. "Annyeong. Am I late?" SoHee
said, airly. "Ugh." Heawon thought. The guys all glanced
at her, wondering. "Who invited her?" Of course they
said none of this out loud, and politely let her join
them. She squished through Heawon and now was the one
seated besides Taemin. Heawon gritted her teeth silently.
Isa patted her on the shoulder in sympathy.
"Maybe she'll leave soon." Isa whispered to her.
Heawon nodded. After the rounds of playing Wii. They
all grew bored. "Let's play two truths and a dare."
SoHee suggested. Heawon rolled her eyes at this. SoHee
ignored it. "Eh." The rest of them said, unsure.
"Come on I'll go first. My two truths are. I dance
really well and I'm cute. And someone can choose my
dare." She said. "I dare you to drink the whole liter
of coke in one minute." Heawon said. SoHee looked
amused. "Okay." She said with a shrug. And she picked up
the liter of coke, and chugged it down, as Heawon
kept time. "Done." She said. "Woah. She did it." Heawon
said, surprised. SoHee smiled, and then let out a loud
belch unintentionally. Everyone looked at her wide eyed.
"Woops. Excuse me." She tried to say as femininly as
possible. They were all still grossed out. "Good job unni."
Heawon said, with slight sarcasm. SoHee smiled slightly.
"Oh, dongseng. Look at the time. Shouldn't you get going
you wouldn't wanna be late to see Vic oppa would you?"
SoHee said evily. Heawon looked at her shocked, as did
the rest of the group. She kind of lost her barings for
a moment, and just retaliated. "What? I'm not hanging
out with Vic oppa! I don't even like Vic oppa! I like
Taemin oppa!" She said in a rush quickly. Then she
realized what she had said. She looked at her group of
friends. They were all wide eyed in shock, especially
Taemin. SoHee just smirked to herself. "Woops." She
said. "I did not just say that did I?" She asked them.
"Uh, you did dongseng." Isa said, reassuring her.
"Um. Well... I gotta go." Heawon said quickly, bolting
out of the apartment. She ran down the stairs of
the apartment complex, running across the sidewalk,
her heart pounding, and her side was starting to ache.
She stopped for a moment, catching her breath.
And started mumbling to herself, angrily.
"Aish. Why did I say that? That little, good for
nothing.." She started to say but was interrupted by
a voice behind her. "Heawon ah." Taemin said to her,
gently. She froze. "Should I run? But. That wouldn't
be very professional. Well, here goes nothing." She
thought and turned around. She hesitantly looked
up at Taemin. "Y-Yeh oppa?" She said. "What you
said back there, did you mean it?" He asked her.
She exhaled a little, and just nodded. She closed her
eyes, unable to meet his gaze at that very moment,
as she spoke. "D-Deh. Jo a hae oppa." She said.
Silence followed. She thought the worst had happened.
She opened her eyes, and saw a smile appear on his
face. "Nado jo a hae." He said, and pulled her close
to him, kissing her softly.
