her, as she walked quickly to catch up with her.
Grace was a petite girl, with fair skin, medium length,
brownish black hair, with layers in the front. She had
large, expressive brown eyes, and a small mouth, and
a slim body, with a slight s-line. Grace stopped walking
for a moment, to let her friend catch up. After SooJin
was beside her, they continued walking to their
high school. As they walked up the steps, Grace tripped.
She quickly got up, swinging her hair back, like
nothing happened. "OMO. Kwenchana?" SooJin asked her.
Grace nodded.
They pushed through the double doors
of the entrance of their school, and started walking down
the hallway to their class. As they walked, Grace
spotted a young freshman girl, who dropped her books
on the ground. Many of the other students, specifically
the upper classmen, laughed at this. Grace sighed, and
walked over to the girl and helped her pick up her books.
The young girl, thanked her. "Kamsamnida. Sunbae." She
said, bowing. Grace nodded, and she continued on her
way down the hallway with SooJin. "You're really
sympathetic." SooJin told her. Grace shrugged. SooJin
did most of the talking, as they went to their class.
KiBum was walking around the hallway, when he witness
the act of kindness that Grace bestowed upon the freshman
girl. "Hey hyung, who was that?" KiBum asked his older
friend DongHae. "Uh, I think, I keep forgetting.
Park. Park. something Park. uh, Grace Park. Yeah.
She's a junior." He said. "What do you know about
her?" KiBum asked him. "Not much. She pretty much keeps
to herself, and just hangs out with that one friend you
saw her with." Donghae said. KiBum nodded and they
walked around the corner of the hallway to their
class.
Later on that day, SooJin and Grace were at the
outside dining of their highschool, eating their lunch.
SooJin excused herself for a moment to go to the bathroom.
Grace took a sip of her ice tea, and glanced up to see
KiBum. "Can I sit down?" He asked her. She shrugged.
So he pulled out a chair. "I'm KiBum." He told her,
flashing her his charming smile. She just looked at
him dead on and said. "Uh huh." She said. "So how
come you keep to yourself so much?" He asked her.
She glanced at him. "I just do. Why are you
so curious anyway?" She asked him. "I just.." He
started to say, but SooJin came back. "Oh, sorry
am I interrupting something?" She said. Grace shook
her head. "No. We're just leaving right SooJin?" She
told her friend. SooJin looked confused, but Grace shot
her a warning look. "Oh, uh yeah. Right." She said
quickly. And she and Grace started to pick up their
bags. Donghae came over, and smiled at SooJin.
"Hey, I'm Donghae." He said. SooJin smiled back, shyly.
Grace cleared her throat, and SooJin quickly followed
her out of the outdoor dining area of their campus.
Donghae looked after them, with raised eyebrows and
sat down beside KiBum. "KiBum my friend, why don't
you just go find one of those easy girls?" He asked him.
"Hyung, I'm not interested in this girl for that. I'm
just curious why she keeps to herself so much." KiBum
explained. Donghae glanced at him like he was crazy.
"Okay." He said. KiBum shook his head. They got up
from the table and walked back inside their campus.
"Yah, Kim KiBum was talking to you. How could you
just leave like that?" SooJin said in disbelief, as
she tried to keep the same pace, that Grace was walking
down their school's hallway. "So? Who's Kim KiBum
anyway?" Grace asked her. SooJin stopped walking.
"Are you kidding me? He's only one of the most popular
senior guys at our high school. Where have you been?"
SooJin asked her. "Great. I've attracted a player."
Grace said sarcastically. SooJin sighed. "Ani. He's
popular. But I haven't heard of him being around with
alot of girls. Donghae, on the other hand, well he
has a history." SOoJin said softly. Grace rolled her
eyes. "Oh, joy. Come on. We're going to be late
for AP English." She said to SooJin who groaned. And
they hurriedly walked down the hallway to their
next class.
