"Oppa, listen to this." SongYee told him, as she placed
headphones over the both of their heads, so they could
listen to a song, their faces pressed together, side
by side. He listened to the upbeat song, as they sat
outside of a cafe, on one of the benches. After the
song ended, he took off the headphones and she removed
it from her head as well. "Good right?" She said smiling.
He smiled back, leaning in to kiss her cheek suddenly.
"Oppa." She said, slightly embarrassed as he pulled
back after kissing her on the cheek, but she was happy.
"Come on." He said and took her hand and they walked
down the sidewalk together.
As they walked down the street, he suddenly pulled
her behind one of the brick wall of a building,
as she was pressed up against him. "Oppa." She
said, her eyes widening. "Sarang hae." He said with
sincerity, and with both arms around her waist,
leaned in, kissing her deeply. She pressed herself
even closer to him, as she kissed him back, loving
the feeling of their warm lips meeting, as she tangled
her fingers in his hair. "Nado saranghae" She said,
as they broke apart, smiling. He took her hand again
and they continued walking down the street.
[Another flashback]
"Yah oppa!" SongYee said as Key had smeared flour
on her cheek, as they baked in the SHINee apartment.
She went after him, chasing him around the small
kitchen, when she slipped on a rolling pin, but
he swiftly caught her in his arms. She looked up
at him, blinking. And their faces inched closer together,
until their lips met. She could taste the chocolate
batter that they had taste tested before putting it in
the oven. Then they broke apart, and he smiled down
at her. She smiled back and got a handful of flour,
patting him on the cheek. "Revenge." She said with
a laugh, and ran off, as he chased her around
the house, as she tried to run away, screaming.
"Yah Park Songyee!" He called after her, as she laughed
dodging him, until he caught her in his arms again,
hugging her from behind, warmly.
[Another Flashback]
"SongYee, come on." He told her, as he turned around,
glancing at his girlfriend who was walking slowly down
the sidewalk. "Heem dee ruh. (I'm tired)" She said,
exhausted from having to run with him, to get away
from his screaming fan girls. Key smiled, and turned
back around, and squatted down on the sidewalk.
"Get on." He told her. "Mwoh?" She said. "Get on."
He said again. She sighed and got on his back,
wrapping her arms around his neck, and he stood back
up, and started to carry her on his back to her house.
"Oppa, I'm heavy right?" She asked him. "Ani. You're
light as a feather." He said, smiling. "Kohjidmal."
She said. He laughed. "Really. Maybe you need to
eat more. I'll make you bibimbap tomorrow." He
said. "Jjinja? Ah rah suh." She said happily. He smiled
back as he continued to carry her back to her house.
[Another Flashback]
Songyee spiked the volleyball over the net, as one
of the members of the opposite team jumped and tried
to hit it back, but missed. Scoring her team another
point. She high fived her other team mates. Her team was
in the lead when they
had a brief intermission.
Key walked onto the sand.
"Oppa." She said, surprised. He made a move to kiss
her, but she pushed him away. "Oppa, some scouts are
watching for me, that might give me a scholarship." She
said embarrased. He was hurt slightly. "Is that more
important than me?" He asked her. "Oppa, No. It's
just." She started to say. He shook his head. "It's
fine." He said firmly. "What do you think I care more
about a scholarship than us oppa?" She said, as people
were starting to stare at the two. "I don't know. Maybe."
He said shrugging. She sighed.
"What? If that's what you really think maybe
we should just break up!" She said to him. He looked
at her, in disbelief, but found himself nodding.
"Fine." He said and left the volleyball court, as
other people stared after him in surprise. SongYee
sighed and ran home crying. "SongYee! The game isn't
over!" One of her teammates called to her. But she
ignored it, as she continued to run home, her heart,
having been cracked open.
Key went back to the SHINee apartment, sorting
through a box of photos, that he had of himself and
SongYee, the jacket she had given him, and pulled
out the pile of photos, scattering them on the carpet
of his room in frustration. "Aish. How could I break
up with her?" He told himself, and landed back on his
bed, holding the sides of his head in his hands.
SongYee ran all the way back to her house,
as she cried, and ran up to her room, slamming
the door. "What on earth?" Her mom said, coming
out from the kitchen, worried. She went upstairs,
and opened SongYee's door, to find her crying at the
side of her bed, her face down on her bed.
"SongYee ah, buseun iriseyeo?" Her mom said, asking
what happened. SongYee lifted her face from her bed,
tears running down her face. "O-oppa..I-I..w-we.. b-broke
u-up." SongYee said, choking on her tears. Her mom
went over to her, in sympathy, and stroked her hair
gently to try and calm her. "I'm sorry dear." She
said.
"I, j-just don't know what I'm going to do." Songyee
said in despair to her friend, EunMi who was in her room,
nodding her head in sympathy.

Two weeks had passed by since then. SongYee
was miserable. Key was miserable. They both lacked
sleep. It's like they couldn't function without each
other.
Their friends
tried to get them to talk to each other, but nothing
seemed to work. Onew brought SongYee out to try
and cheer her up, but even as he tried to make her
laugh, and asking her if she wanted to eat anything,
she still looked so down. She was like a little sister
to him, and hated seeing her like that. So, having
had enough, he dragged
SongYee into a restaurant. She followed him, slowly,
devastated, but as they past more tables, she saw a
table of four. As they approached the table, she
saw the last person she expected to see. Key looked
at her surprised as well. She quickly bolted out of the
restaurant, as emotions started flooding through her
mind. Key ran out after her. "SongYee!" He called
as he ran across the parking lot. She grew tired
and stopped running, and turned around to face him.
She looked at him, her eyes watering. He sighed.
Then she ran up to him, hugging him tightly. "Oppa.
I'm sorry." She said. "I'm sorry too. I don't want
us to be over." He said as he held her. She pulled
back from him a little, and he leaned closer to
her face, as he kissed her deeply.
