Shirley: yea, how have you been?
Gregory: pretty good! How ‘bout you? Where are you working at? Do you still live with your aunt and uncle
Shirley: I’m ok, I don’t live with my aunt and uncle anymore, I found a job at World Tech and move out to live with my friend Leila, she also work at World Tech too………You still work at your dad’s place?
Gregory: yes and no, I still work for my dad, but I work at a branch of his company………
Shirley: oh, so you’re the big boss now, huh?
Gregory: *smiled*
Shirley: how’s your girlfriend?
Gregory: I don’t have one……
Shirley: yea right, I remember back in school, a lot of girls followed you……
Gregory: *laughed* you did said back in school……beside……I still can’t forget someone……
Shirley: awwww……that’s sweet…
They smiled and chat for awhile, then Gregory offer to drive Shirley home, when they arrive at the apartment, as they were saying their good-byes Ray show up……………………
Ray: hi…
Shirley: hi Ray…
Ray: you haven’t introduce us……
Shirley: oh, um……this is Ray, my manager…………this is Greg, my *hold his hand, he looked at her* boyfriend…………
Both Ray and Gregory were surprised.
Gregory: hi *held out his hand*
Ray: nice to meet you *shake his hand, gripped it a little*
Gregory: me too *take his hand away, his hand hurt a little*
Ray: well, I don’t bother you guys anymore, see ya *turned around and walk inside, sad*
Shirley: *looked after Ray* *then saw Gregory looked at her* sorry Greg……
Gregory: no problem, but you have to tell me what’s going on!
Shirley: *told him what happened*
Gregory: I don’t what’s wrong with you going out with Ray………Even if you don’t go out with Ray, he won’t go back to Nancy, he treat her like a sister, you’re the one he love!
Shirley: I don’t know, I don’t know………………Greg, will you help me?
Gregory: be your fake boyfriend? I don’t have a problem, but you’re running away from your problems, that never help, you have to face it sooner or later…………
Shirley: I’ll face it when I’m ready!
Gregory: ok, until then, I’ll help you……
Shirley: thank you Greg!
She walk back to her apartment………
Tavia: hey Shirley……
Shirley: Leila home yet?
Tavia: nope………*as she was saying, Leila open the door and walk in* oh, there she is…………where were you missy?
Leila: *smiled*
Shirley: how was your night?
Leila: great *smiled*
The next few months, Greg act as Shirley’s boyfriend, he gave her ride to work, pick her up, take her to places when weekend come and to people they seems like a happy couple. Shirley also keep this secret from Leila and Tavia.
Leila: *went to make some coffee, saw Ray* hi Ray……
Ray: hey Leila……
Leila: *got curious* are you ok?
Ray: of course! Why wouldn’t I be?
Leila: Shirley and Greg?
Ray: *smiled* I’m happy for Shirley, Greg seems like a nice guy…
Leila: you’re really ok?
Ray: yea, when you like someone, you want that person to be happy right? As long as Shirley’s happy, I’m happy………………
Leila: I’m glad you’re so understanding……
They smiled………
