Ray: *sit, holding Shirley’s hand* Shirley……it’s time to wake up now!
Leila: don’t worry Ray, the doctor said she’ll be ok!
Tavia: yea, you’re tired, you should go home and rest, we’ll informed you when she woke up!
Ray: I’m fine, don’t worry……you guys go ahead……
Meanwhile, in Shirley’s head…………………
A voice: wake up Shirley, wake up!
Shirley: who’s that? Tu Ky? Tu Ky? Is that you?
Tu Ky: *smiled* wake up sleepy head, you have a promise to keep!
Shirley: what are you talking about?
Tu Ky: our promise with Phong remember?
Shirley: Phong? I have to look for him…………
Tu Ky: we found him silly!
Shirley: we did? Phong………Ray???
Tu Ky: *smiled* he’s waiting for you………*disappeared*
Shirley: wait, Tu Ky…………
Back to reality………Shirley slowly opened her eyes……she saw Ray fell asleep and smiled………
Ray: *woke up* Shirley? *Shirley smiled* you’re awake! *he hugged her* wait, I gotta called Leila *he walk out to call Leila*
While Shirley was lying there, she saw Nancy, but Nancy just stand outside the door, Shirley smiled at her and Nancy smiled back, she then left…………Everyone arrived at the hospital………
Mr. Wong: are you ok dear?
Shirley: yes uncle………where’s auntie?
Mr. Wong: um………she’s………
Mrs. Wong: *enter* I’m here, I just have to buy something for you to eat, it’s so sudden, I can’t cook anything…………
Shirley: thanks auntie………
Mr. Wong: *looked at them and smiled*
Next few weeks, Shirley’s still in the hospital, everyone went back to work and everything was normal again, and Shirley also told Leila and Tavia her “dream”
Tavia: wow, that’s weird, it’s just like in the movies………
Leila: Phong is Ray? Wow, you guys might have met in other lives too………
Shirley: maybe!
Leila: no wonder!! No matter how much you run away from Ray, you guys still ended up together………
Tavia: hm…………I wonder if all of us are like that? So there’s really is fate afterall………interesting………
They smiled. One Saturday Shirley is allowed to leave the hospital and everyone came to pick her up………She went back to work that Monday and work was normal for her, Nancy finally understand everything and Shirley and Nancy also became good friends………………Few months later………
Shirley: *on the phone* where are you guys? The restaurant is closed…………what? just walk in? ok *she walk inside the restaurant but it’s pitch black, she can’t see anything* is this a joke? *as she was saying, a spotlight hit her and startle her* ok, what’s going on? *she kept on walking and the spotlight follow her then she stopped and turned around, she saw Ray holding a bunch of flowers* Ray?
Ray: will you married me?
Shirley: huh?
The light turned on and she can see everyone standing near by………
Leila: come on, say “yes”
Shirley: *blush*
Everyone: say “yes”, say “yes”, say “yes”
Shirley: *nodded*
As everyone was clapping, Ray pick Shirley up and spin her around………………Wedding day……………………
Shirley: everyone ready? *she throw the bouquet*
Leila: *caught it by accident*
Ray: congratulation Leila!!!
Leila: huh?
Matt: look like you’re next!!!
Tavia: where’s Bosco? Bosco!!!!!!!!!
He came over……
Bosco: yea?
Bernice: Leila caught the bouquet, you know what to do!
Sammul: yay, another fun wedding……
Leila: *blush*
Bosco: what about you guys?
Bernice and Sammul: *looked at each other* we’ll see……
Matt: I’m just waiting for her to says “yes”
Tavia: Matt! *elbowed him*
They all laughed and hugged their significant other………………At someplace, sometime far away…………………
Phong: Tu Ky!!!
Tu Ky: Phong……
They ran up and hugged each other………
Tu Ky: I’m so happy to reunited with you…………
Phong: me too………
They smiled……………………
