Leila: *excited* Shirley, guess what, they hire me!!!
Shirley: *excited too* really??? Congratulation Leila!!!
Leila: did you receive a letter yet?
Shirley: *a bit worry* not yet…
Bosco: *yelled* Shirley, you have mail!
Leila: hey, you have mail; go see if it’s the letter!
Bosco: *enter Shirley’s room* here *Shirley takes a deep breath* come on, open it!
Shirley: I, Bosco, open it!
Bosco: *takes the envelope and open it* *in a sad voice* Shirley…they…*excited voice* hire you!!!
Shirley and Leila started to scream and Shirley hug Bosco.
Bosco: *laughs* congratulation little cousin! *patted her back*
Shirley: *grinning* *to Leila* I’ll see you at work on
Monday!
Leila: count on it *laugh* see ya!
Bosco: weh, I deserve a treat right?
Shirley: you? I’m the one that got the job!
Bosco: I gave you a ride!
Shirley: fine, fine, fine, where do you wanna go?
Bosco: that ice-cream place we went last week.
Shirley: oh……that place, come on, let’s go! *Mrs. Wong enters*
Mrs. Wong: go where?
Bosco: we…*Mr. Wong enters*
Mr. Wong: you two go ahead, don’t come home too late.
Bosco & Shirley: don’t worry, we won’t *they left*
Mrs. Wong: wait, I’m not done…
Mr. Wong: just let them go.
Mrs. Wong: go, go, go, you always care for your niece more than this family.
Mr. Wong: that’s not true, and it’s my responsibility to take care of Shirley, my sister ask me to take care of Shirley before she die, it’s the last thing I can do for her.
Mrs. Wong: what about her dad? He’s still alive isn’t he?

Mrs. Wong: what? My sworn sister’s daughter is coming back to Hong Kong next week, and I invited her to live here.
Mr. Wong: here? There’s no more room left!!!
Mrs. Wong: I don’t care what you do, but she must have a room for herself.
Outside the door.
Bosco: *put a hand on Shirley’s shoulder* let’s go!
At the ice-cream place.
Bosco: how come you’re not eating? It’s melting!
Shirley: I think I should move out.
Bosco: what? You’re not thinking about what mom said, right? I mean, her sworn sister’s daughter? That’s not even close family, seriously, I don’t even know what mom’s thinking.
Shirley: but Bosco, the true is that auntie and I don’t get along, don’t you think it’ll be better if I move out.
Bosco: where are you gonna stay then? You don’t have any other relatives here and if you rent an apartment, I’m worry, some apartment are not safe for girls to live by themselves.
Shirley: don’t worry too much Bosco, I can take care of myself.
Bosco: *think for a while, then says* fine, you can start finding an apartment but I have to approved it before you move in, okay???
Monday…Bosco just drops Shirley off at work.
Bosco: see ya!
Shirley: *smile* *wave*
Bosco drives off. Shirley heard Leila’s voice.
Shirley: *turns around* Leila!
Leila: hey!
They walk in and one of the managers is waiting along with two guys.
The manager: hello, I’m Nancy Wu, I will be showing you guys around!
Shirley: I’m Shirley Yeung
Leila: I’m Leila Tong
One of the guys: I’m Sammul Chan
The other guy: and I’m Matt Yeung
Nancy: well, one person is missing, we’ll wait a bit more then!
A girl: *runs in and out of breath* I’m sorry, I’m so sorry!
Nancy: you must be Tavia Yeung
Sammul: wow, what’s with all the “Yeung”?
Nancy: *looks at Sammul*
Sammul: *clear throat* sorry!
Nancy: I just want all of you to know that work start at 8:30 and I don’t want anyone to be late, okay?
Shirley, Leila, Matt & Sammul: ok!
Tavia: sorry!
Nancy: *smile* *after that she show them around*
