Ray: *still laughing* I’m sorry, nothing, nothing’s wrong, but… *still laughing* you’re only alone when it’s daylight, even if you want to see a ghost, I don’t think you’ll be able to see one.
Shirley: oh yea *scratch her head* that’s right!
Ray: *still laughing*
Shirley: I’ll stay home tomorrow then, can you bring me back to work today? I just remember now that I have to finish something to give to Nancy. Come on, I promise I’ll be careful!
Ray: last time you says that…look what happen to you!
Shirley: come on, it’s just haft a day, nothing…I promise...nothing will happen!
Ray: *sigh* ok, fine!
They arrive at work and Ray help Shirley walk.
Ray: *suddenly remember something and chuckles*
Shirley: what?
Ray: *straight face, trying not to laugh* nothing
Shirley: right……………oh, it’s the ghost thing isn’t it?
Ray: *burst out laughing* sorry, still can’t get it off my head.
Shirley: *hit Ray’s arm lightly* I’m warning you, can’t tell anyone, or else…
Ray: *fake clear his throat* I promise…
Nancy was standing nearby and saw all of this, she doesn’t look too happy……
Nancy: *thinking* he have never laugh like that in front of me…*frowning*
Shirley walks in the office and everyone was surprise…
Leila: Shirley, what are you doing here, you should go home and rest…
Tavia: Nancy and Jack told us, are you ok?
Sammul & Matt: yea, why aren’t you home?
Ray: *hold back his laugh*
Shirley: *elbow Ray lightly in the stomach* I…um…have a little bit of work left…
After work…………………
Tavia: I’ll see you guys later, I gotta go buy something.
Leila and Shirley walks for a little bit then Leila suddenly remember something…
Leila: oh no, I forgot to pick up the package from my parent at the post office.
Shirley: you go ahead then, it’ll close in 30 minutes.
Leila: you ok by yourself?
Shirley: yea, don’t worry!
As Shirley was walking, it started to rain………………
Shirley: are you kidding me???
A guy’s voice: Shirley…
Shirley: *turns around* Ray?
Ray: what are you doing? The road is really slippery, you might fall again, come with me to my car. No, I’ll give you a piggyback, it’ll be faster.
Shirley: but…I…
Ray: come on, hurry, the rain’s getting heavier.
Ray give Shirley a piggyback ride and she was smiling the whole time……about 15 minutes later, they arrive at home and Ray help Shirley go up to her room. Tavia was already home.
Ray: you be careful now, ok? *he left*
Shirley: *still looking in his direction*
Tavia: weh *wave her hand in front of Shirley, Shirley almost fall, but Tavia got her* don’t worry, gotcha *look at Shirley* oooooooooooooo, looks like someone’s in love!!!*big smile* right?
Leila: *enter* what? Who’s in love? Tavia, you?
Tavia: no…*pointing at Shirley*
Leila: really? With who?
Tavia: our very own manager………………
Leila: Ray? ahhh, really? *jump over to Shirley* really? Hey Tavia, she’s blushing……look.
Shirley: *blush and walk away*
Tavia & Leila: *laugh* we were right, high-five *giving each other high-five*
That night………………………………Shirley dreams again……………………
A girl is walking in the rain and a guy ran straight at her and bump into her…………
The girl: ahhhhhhhhhh *a guy caught her just in time and they look at each other, eye-to-eye*
The guy: are you ok?
The girl: yes, thank you!
The guy suddenly realize that he is still holding the girl and let go.
The guy: *blush* sorry!
The girl: *blush too* it’s ok *put her face down*
The guy: um……
They both lift their face up and look at each other and smile…
Leila: *enter Shirley’s room, turn the light on* Shirley...Shirley…
Tavia: *enter too, say louder* Shirley…
Shirley: *sit straight up* what?
Leila: mind telling us why you were laughing?
Shirley: what are you talking about? I wasn’t laughing!!!
Tavia: yes, you were laughing!!! So loud that we can hear you in our room!!!
Shirley: I was???
Tavia: *look at Shirley* I know why, I know why, you dream about Ray!!!
Shirley: *blush* of course not *told them what she dream about*…………I think it have some connection with the other dream, it could be the same guy and girl, I recognize their voice and could made out the clothes that they wear too, it’s weird, it’s like ancient clothes.
Tavia: like in TVB series?
Shirley: yea…
Tavia: so, it could really be your past life?
They all look at each other.
