XY sat on one of the benches and XM went to buy some coffee. She was sitting down quietly when someone approached her.
Guy: Hi miss! What’s your name? (smiles)
XY only looked at the guy and did not answer the guy’s question then the guy sat down beside her, XY moved away from him but still the guy moved closer.
Guy: Hi, I’m Adam and you are? (extends his hand)
XY faked a smile but still refused to talk. She felt scared at the guy now sitting beside her because she sensed that the guy was already drunk and that he kept on nagging her.
Guy: You’re so beautiful! Can I ask you for a date?
XY seemed to be rooted on the floor not knowing what to do, she hasn’t felt this scared in her life. The guy just continued nagging her and poking her shoulders.
Guy: Hey miss, Can’t you speak?
He was now shaking her shoulders forcefully and XY was now crying because she was terrified at that moment not being able to do something.
XM was now walking back to XY when he saw the commotion that was going on. He immediately ran dropping the coffee on the ground. He pulls them apart sensing that the guy was drunk and was not at his proper state of mind. He punches the guy with all his might, at that time he was full of anger. He was never this angry with anyone like this before and the fact that XY was crying because of the incident made him want to kill the guy more. The guy did not give up that easily, he also punched XM several times but XM was much more stronger so after a few more punches from XM the guy was lying on the floor, unconscious.
XY on the other hand was crying harder with her hands cupping her face. XM bent down and hugged her tight.
XM: Are you all right? What did he do to you? Did he touch you?
XY: No, he didn’t do anything to me. XM, I’m scared.
XM: I’m so sorry, XY. I shouldn’t have left you alone at this time.
XY: It’s okay. You’re here now.
XM then rubbed XY’s shoulders and assisted her as she stands up. They went to XM’s car and XM drove her to the hotel. While driving none of them spoke but their hands were intertwined. XM could feel the coldness in XY’s hands because of the incident earlier.
XM: Don’t worry because that man will never go near you ever again as long as I m here.
XY then rested her head on XM’s shoulders and found comfort in him.

When they arrived in XY’s room…..
XM: Do you feel better now?
XY: Yes, much better.
XM: Okay (smiles) Do you want me to stay with you?
XY: Okay (smiles sweetly)
That night, they slept at each other’s arms seeking each other’s comfort. XY was the first one to sleep. XM just stared at her while she was sleeping; he just couldn’t stop because she seemed to like an angel sleeping. Her innocence and simplicity makes her so special to him. Never did he thought of falling in love to a person who seemed to be almost perfect for him.
XM: I love you…
He whispered to her ears then he hugged her and slept.

The next day
XY was the first one to wake up. She called the room service and ordered breakfast for them. The buzz of the doorbell woke XM up. He noticed that XY was already awake so he sat up and greeted her.
XM: Good morning, Honey! (smiles)
XY: Come here. Let’s have breakfast. (smiles widely)
XM: Okay. but I have to make it quick because I have work to attend to. Wait..I will just go to the bathroom. I’ll be back.
XY nodded and XM smiled. When XM went out, they began eating their breakfast.
XY: I had a good sleep last night.
XM: Yeah.. me too!
XY: Go on… eat your food. I love watching you eat.
XM: So you didn’t like the guy yesterday, huh? Am I right? (raises his eyebrow)
XY: Nah, he’s not good enough for me. (smiles teasingly)
XM pouts like a child and ate his food.
XY: Hey XM, I was only kidding, of course I didn’t like him because all I want now is you. (looks straight into XM’s eyes and smiles)
XM: (smiles) Well, you can have me for the rest of your life.
XY POV: I’m so thankful that I have you, XM. You have been so good to me and I promise to be with you for the rest of my life.
After eating, XM bade goodbye to XY and promised to call her as soon as he arrives at his office.
