XY: But—
SC: No buts, I don’t want another friend of mine admitted to this hospital.
AS: SC’s right, XY. Don’t worry because we will follow up the accident with the police and we will monitor with the doctors about their progress so you see there is no need to worry, everything will be taken care of. I know that you’re already tired from the trip so please take a rest.
XY: How is Lei doing?
AS: He has just been transferred to the other room, Jing is now currently with him.
XY: And MZ?
AS: He is at the ICU, the doctors still want to observe him, he is not in good shape after the operation but I know he’ll recover soon because Mei Zhuo’s a fighter.
XY: Have they already caught the driver of the truck?
AS: Apparently after seeing the accident, the driver left his truck and ran for it but the police is working round the clock to find him, it’ll just be a matter of days till they find him. And if not, I’ll be the one to look for him myself and kill him.
SC: Daoming Si.. Anyway XY, You have to rest now.
Xiao You then pulled a chair to Ximen’s bed and sat down resting her head on Ximen’s chest.
XY: Don’t worry about me, I’ll be okay. You better go to XQ, she needs your company now.
San Chai and AhSi then left the two of them.

Xiao You was awakened when she felt Ximen’s arm move, she sat up straight and saw Ximen slowly opening his eyes.
XY: Ximen, good thing that you’re already awake. Wait, don’t move I’ll call the nurse.
XM: No. (holds XY’s hands) I’m fine, You don’t need to call them. XY, I want to be with Mei Zhuo and Lei.
She then stood up and went to the door. Outside, she saw AhSi talking to one of the doctors. When they were finished talking, she approached AhSi.
XY: XM is already awake.
AS: Good, have you told the nurse?
XY: Nope, XM told me not to although he has requested to be transferred to the room with Lei and Mei Zhuo.
AS: Okay, wait for me here and I’ll talk to the staff so he can be immediately transferred.
After 10 minutes, Ximen’s bed was now being wheeled into Lei’s room. Jing and Ahsi was already there anticipating for them.
XY: What happened to Lei?
Jing: He suffered from a mild concussion and a broken leg. The doctors gave him anesthesia so he’ll wake up a little later.
XY: I hope that they’ll recover soon.
Jing: So do I.
XY: Does their parent’s know about this already?
AS: Yeah, XM's parents are currently out of the country but they said that they would come here as soon as possible. Lei’s mother is coming later because she too needs to rest while his father is now in Japan but said that he’ll fly in later in the afternoon. MZ’s parents arrived shortly after you slept, they are now with XQ and SC.

It has already been three days since the accident. Ximen has now recovered but the doctors insisted to keep him for a week to be sure that he is in good condition when he goes out of the hospital. His parents arrived yesterday and agreed with the doctor that he’ll have to stay at the hospital for a week. Ximen did not like staying in the hospital because he has a history in there. He has been persuading everyone including the doctors to release him earlier than expected. He even stood up from his bed and walked around their room to prove that he is in good shape and has been restored in good health but to his dismay everyone disagreed with him.
Lei has woken up in the afternoon last Wednesday. His leg was temporarily placed in a cast to support it while it was healing. His mother went to him everyday since Wednesday and thanked everyone for taking good care of his son during her absence. Lei was glad to be able to sleep without anyone’s disturbance because the doctor gave a strict order to let him rest. But then like Ximen he was also getting sick of the hospital’s environment. He often complains about the hospital’s mattress hardness and when that happens everyone just laughs at him.
Mei Zhuo has been in a coma for the past 3 days and during those days Xiao Qiao never left his side. She was getting thinner due to lack of sleep and food. His mother stayed with her while they were waiting for Mei Zhuo to wake up. They consulted the doctor about Mei Zhuo’s progress and he said that that he is very weak and he is showing little signs of progress as of the moment. Everyone was getting worried everyday but they have to be strong for Xiao Qiao knowing that she needs them to be strong for her. They often see her crying beside Mei Zhuo and just couldn’t help but feel sorry for her because she is enduring so much pain at the moment. Everyone was trying to comfort her and urge her to eat but she would just take a few spoons of food and then goes back to attend to Mei Zhuo.

Inside Ximen and Lei’s suite
SC: AS, How is MZ doing?
AS: He is still in a coma.
XY: It has been what? 3 days, What does the doctor say?
AS: Well, he says that he is still very weak and they cannot predict when he is going to wake up.
Jing: I know MZ will survive this, he has always been a fighter and I know that he wouldn’t give up especially that he is now marrying Xiao Qiao.
SC: Yeah, MZ has always been strong. I see no reason to doubt his fighting spirit.
XY: So how is XQ taking it?
AS: She is still very worried, MZ’s mother is with her. She hasn’t been eating properly and she refuses to leave him.
Jing: I think that its just natural after all it is her fiancé that is in the line here. I just hope that MZ will wake up soon.
SC: I’m really worried about XQ, she might get sick neglecting her own health.

Inside Mei Zhuo’s room
XQ: MZ, please wake up. I miss you already. (sobs) Please don’t leave me.
Mei Zhuo’s mother patted her back and hugged her as she broke into harder sobs, just then Mei Zhuo’s fingers moved. His mother runs outside and calls the doctor as Xiao Qiao stood up moving closer to him. When she came face to face with him, he slowly opened his eyes. Xiao Qiao face lighted up at the sight of Mei Zhuo smiling at her and held her hand. She sat beside him and his hands dried the tears that were rolling down her cheeks.
MZ: I’m not going anywhere, XQ. Don’t cry.
Moments later the doctor came and checked him. He told them that Mei Zhuo was now in a stable condition and a week’s rest will do him good. He can now be moved into the presidential suite where Lei and Ximen were currently confined. Everyone was happy that Mei Zhuo has woken up and was excited to move him at the suite with Lei and Ximen. Certainly they missed Mei Zhuo because the gang was not the same without him. As he entered the suite everyone was smiling at him.
MZ: Miss me that much, huh?
All: Nah!
Everyone laughed, it was good to hear Mei Zhuo’s voice again. His humor and jokes has always lightened up everyone’s mood. And that everyone was recovering, they couldn’t be happier.
