“Manager, Madam Chien is here.” Ximen nodded and dismissed his secretary.
Ximen was grateful for having his secretary. Although he would act silly at times, he still gained his respect. They have been working together for almost six years. His secretary has been a part of his successful career and he owed a lot to him.
He was viewing the busy streets of Taipei that was clearly visible through his window when his secretary informed him that Xiao You was already there. He got his mobile phone and went back viewing the whole of Taipei. He then composed a message for Xiao You.

Xiao You went to the office early in the morning. There was no reason for that exactly, but she just wanted to come in early.
She directly went in to her office and prepared the documents that she had found placed on top of her desk. She was about to start reading those when she heard her mobile’s alert tone. A smile slowly formed on her face when she learned that the message came from Ximen.
*“Hey there! You’re early for today. How come?”
“Nothing in particular. Just wanted to come in early and besides there are a lot of things that needs to be done here.”
A little while later, Ximen’s reply came in.
*“Slow it down Workaholic! I wonder if you still have time for yourself.”
“Of course I do have! It’s you who don’t have time for yourself or anything for that matter.” Xiao You’s reply.
*“I also have time for myself. Anything? I have a lot of time for anything.” It was Ximen’s.
“Really now?” then Xiao You’s.
*“It’s true.”
“How come you’re sick?”
*“I didn’t have time then.” He replied.
“So you have time now?”
*“Yes. In fact, I’m just about to ask you if you want to have lunch with me later.”
“Lunch? Okay. Maybe, I’ll just see you later then.”
“Yes, See you later. Don’t stress yourself too much okay.”
“You too.”

Twist Restaurant
They decided to settle themselves in this simple yet very elegant restaurant. This was Ximen’s idea since he wanted to have a peaceful lunch with Xiao You.
They began conversing while waiting for their orders to be served.
“I don’t think it’s nice!” she said.
“Of course it’s not nice.”
“I don’t like that.”
“Why? I mean yeah it’s not that good but I still think it’s worth watching.”
“I don’t watch those kinds of movies.”
Ximen then heaved a sigh, “It seems like that no matter how hard I try convincing you, you won’t just give in.”
“Ha! Good you know.”
Not long after, their food was served to them and so they started eating.
“Do you have anything to do later?” she heard him ask.
She thought for a while before answering him, “Hmm....Nothing, why ask?”
“Then maybe I can go to your place and we’ll watch there later. What do you think?”
“Oh no not again Ximen. I told you, I don’t watch those kind of movies.”
“Would it kill you?” he asked.
“No but still can we watch another kind?”
“Please?” Ximen pleaded with his sweetest smile. Certainly, Xiao You wouldn’t resist this time.
“Fine.” She said, finally surrendering.
Ximen and Xiao You ended their lunch and after, proceeded back to their offices.
Ximen was signing some documents the whole afternoon but he would keep glancing on his desk clock seeing if it was already his time to leave. He laughed at himself for his childishness, “If Mei Zhuo was here, he would be laughing his ass off because of me.” He silently said.

It was already nine o’clock in the evening when Ximen decided to end his day. He assumed by then that Xiao You was also done with her work. He made his way to her office and knocked before he entered in. He found her fixing her things and pilling the files on top of her table.
“Xiao You!” he greeted to make his presence known to her.
She smiled at him, “Oh hi!”
“Let’s go?” he asked politely.
“Yes. I just finished fixing this. Let’s go.”
They then headed off to Xiao You’s house. They spent the whole trip to her house teasing and laughing. It seems that they were now both comfortable with the presence of each other.
In no time, they were already inside the elevator waiting to arrive at Xiao You’s floor. Xiao You led the way and opened the door for them.
Xiao You directed him to her living room. As planned, they will watch the movie there. She asked Ximen to prepare the movie that they will watch while she change her clothes.
Ximen saw her coming out of her room; he just looked at her direction while he waits for her to approach him.
“Let's start?” Ximen asked her as she comfortably sits beside him. She gave him a slight nod.
They started playing the film. It was a suspense thriller movie due to Ximen’s insistence that she couldn’t resist. At the beginning, Xiao You was calmly watching but as the film goes further; she became more and more frightened. It wasn’t surely the type of movies that she watched.
When the scene was about the murderer trying to catch his victim, Xiao You, who was watching it attentively, moved closer to Ximen. When the murderer grabbed his victim’s hair, Xiao You screamed and embraced Ximen tightly. She was too scared to even know what she was doing.
Meanwhile, Ximen was also enjoying the film when he felt that Xiao You embraced him from his side. He would hear her scream from time to time and when she does he would smile to himself because whenever she screams, she would also tighten her embrace to him. He placed an arm around her and embraced her as well. “Thank goodness I chose this film.” He said to himself with a silly smile evident on his face.
“AHH!” Xiao You’s scream could make his eardrums pop out but he didn’t care. All he knew is that he’s having a great time with her. He’s having fun while the person beside him is getting more and more freaked out.
When the movie was finished, Xiao You began cursing the film. She definitely didn’t like the movie; it made her gone insane.
“I told you Ximen! I wouldn’t watch that again.”
“I think you didn’t like the movie as well, right?” Xiao You added.
He smiled, “The truth is, I enjoyed watching it but what I enjoyed the most is watching you scream and getting scared. Although, I don’t know if I’m still capable of hearing, I still enjoyed sitting here beside you.”
“Hey!” Xiao You told him as she pouted.
“No joke, I enjoyed you screaming rather than watching that movie.” Ximen said smiling at her.
“Ximen! I won’t let you watch with me ever again, you watch by yourself.” She pretended to be mad at him as she folded her arms.
“Okay, I’m sorry!” He apologized. “But seriously I enjoyed watching the movie with you.”
It was already close to midnight so they already called it a night. Ximen left with a silly grin plastered on his lips as he made his way out of Xiao You’s penthouse.
