Chapter 1

Minwoo's Angel

*****Prolouge*****

Minwoo sat down on the rock and let the wind blew his hair. This was his place...her place...THEIR special place. The mountain high above everything else where he could view every beauty of nature.

He could clearly remember when he first took her hair and how special the moment was for her..how she had hugged him when he had playfully teased her into falling. Minwoo had to wipe his eyes to not let the tears fall. Was it the wind only? Or was it tears of shame...of love...?? He didn't know.

'Maybe if I had been better...she would have never left..,' he thought. He stared into the sky. Piece by piece like a quilt being sown together, the story of his love life...reveal itself...

*****Five Years Ago*****

A tinkle escape from the bell strung on the door. Hyekyo looked up to see Minwoo enter. He gave her a heart-warming smile. The two been friends for practically two years met by Hyo Meena during a party. "Hi there, oppa!" Hyekyo said, smiling. Minwoo walked to her.

"Where's Meena?" he asked. That was always his first question ever time he enter the store and not see her. He never say hello to Hyekyo unless his eyes caught sight of his angel, Meena, first.

"In the back of the store..," Hyekyo answered. Meena and Hyekyo both own and work in a floral shop together. Minwoo would always come visit every 4:30 pm sharply, never missing a time nor even getting a tardy. He would always be there on time on task. Perhaps it was to see his two friend...or maybe just one of them whom he love affectiontely, Hyekyo never really bother to care.

Meena appeared. With her angelic figure, no one can missed her. She was an angel in a dark room with her pure black hair that is beautifully layer layering her round face. She was a bit tanned but otherwise beautiful with her full body figure. Her face broke into a perfect smile when she spotted her favourite oppa. "Minwoo oppa!" she cried out, running to him. Minwoo embrace her into a hug then let go.

"Happy birthday, Meena!" Minwoo said. Meena blushed a red colour on her face. Minwoo handed her a box. Meena opened to find a necklace was pearls and her name in Edwardian Script ITC. Meena hugged Minwoo.

"Thank you!" she breathed.

Hyekyo stared from behind the counter. For two years, she watched in silence as Minwoo show how much he love Meena. He cherish her like an angel in his palm and never let anyone go near her to hurt her. Even Hyekyo can't argue with Meena whenever Minwoo was around; Minwoo was Meena's protector.

"Meena...how about we go celebrate your birthday?" Minwoo asked. Meena smile.

"OH! I would love too! But..." She turned to her unnie Hyekyo. "Who will be here to help unnie Hyekyo??" Minwoo stared desperately at Hyekyo who saw. She shrugged and let out a sigh.

"You ahead Meena!" she said. "Enjoy your birthday! I'll do fine!"

Meena took her jacket and Minwoo and her left. Hyekyo sighed and sat down, holding tightly onto her mug of coffee. For two years, she painfully watched Minwoo and Meena in their own world of love. She had grown to love him in her heart as well but never show any affection for him because his eyes were ALWAYS on Meena...he love Meena...he cherish Meena...Meena was his angel. Hyekyo would never match her level.

Although she won't admit it, Hyekyo is beautiful herself and flawless. She had a pretty model-like figure as well and a beautiful angel face with a smile that brighten up a person's day. She had a sweet gentle voice that touch a person's heart. But she was much too pale because she was not an out-going person. She likes to be by herself and stay quiet while Meena always go out and meet new people.

Hyekyo stared idly for a couple of minute, doing nothing until people started entering. She stood up and help them and plaster on a fake smile. After she was done, she sat down on a chair.

'Why can't you let go??' she thought to herself. 'Two years...and yet you still hold onto him...as if he was yours...I wish I knew why I won't let go as well...cause if I do...I would have let go a long time ago...'
