"What!?" he choked out.
"Don't play games, Lee Minwoo..," Hyekyo said, crossing her arms. "In one second you were head over heel crazy for Meena...and now you're confessing that you love me!? You got to be the world's most suckiest liar ever!!" her words hit Minwoo as hard as ice.
"Hyekyo!!" he cried out. "I know that I had love Meena!! But I found out that it was you all along!! Give me a chance!! Come on!! I'll prove to you that I can love you as much as I love Meena!!" Hyekyo's feelings were suddenly hurt but she hid it.
She stared at Minwoo. "What are you trying to prove anyway?" she asked.
"That I can love you..," Minwoo simply answered.
"Liar!" said Hyekyo. "You're just trying to prove to Meena that she could've chosen you over Jin-Ho!! Forget about me, Minwoo!! Don't use me into your scheme!! I am not going to hurt Meena!!"
Minwoo was getting frustrated. "Quit bringing Meena in our converstation, Hyekyo!" he shouted. "This is between YOU and ME! There's no MEENA in this!!" Hyekyo decided to let it go.
"Fine!" she said.
Minwoo let out a sighed of relief. "Okay..," he said. "Then...can I ask you a question??" Hyekyo arched an eyebrow and stared over at him. She was wondering what he was thinking in his head. Minwoo waited and at last, Hyekyo nodded. "Wanna be my girlfriend??" asked Minwoo.
Hyekyo's jaw dropped for a moment, not quite believeing her ears. But she brought back to her sense. "Uh..," she said. Minwoo patiently waited for her answer. Hyekyo stared at Minwoo. "Sure..," she said, shrugging. Minwoo's face brighten.
"Really!?" he asked. Hyekyo nodded, not bothering much. But as Minwoo opened his mouth to continued talking, Hyekyo interrupted.
"But!" she said. "When it's time to let go...it's time..." Minwoo was confuse, but he nodded, sure. Hyekyo stuck her pinkie out. "Promise me..." Minwoo looped his pinkie around hers. Hyekyo felt a rushed of happiness in herself.
Minwoo gave her a smile. "I know everything is going to work out..," he said. "Give me a chance...I promise you...everything you'll ever wish will come true.." Hyekyo smile and nodded.
But she knew that this was all just a dream. Reality will come one day...
