Minwoo frantically searched for her. He cannot let Meena and Jin-Ho get marry. No...never!! Minwoo stay in a hotel that night, looking at pictures of him and Meena. He smile as he touched her face. Then he took out picture of the trio: him, Hyekyo, and Meena.
What he realize was that in all those pictures the three took together, Hyekyo had never smile. She was alway serious. Only one picture had capture her smile. When she was sitting on a swing and Minwoo had taken it. Minwoo didn't realize how much sorrow Hyekyo looked.
But he decided to push that thought behind his mind and decided to go on with his search for Meena...his Meena. Minwoo slept restlessly that night. He felt as if he had lost something that he never had. In his dream, he looked and look but couldn't find the thing that he had lost.
Minwoo woke up, sweaty for some reason. He was breathing hard. Minwoo fell back down to his bed, thinking. 'What did I lost?' he thought.
That morning, Minwoo went off for his search for Meena. He searched for her. Minwoo saw a girl brush past his shoulder. She seemed like Meena from behind so he rushed to her and grabbed her hand and flung her around. "Meena?!" he cried.
But no...it wasn't Meena. It was just plainly another Korean girl. She seemed shock. "Who are you? I'm not Meena..," she said. Minwoo bow.
"Sorry..," he apologize and walked off. "Where is she!?" Then he saw her...MEENA!! She was walking with Jin-Ho, hands in hand. Minwoo felt a surge of angriness washing over him. "MEENA!!" he shouted.
Meena turned and saw Minwoo. Tears glisten her eyes. "Minwoo!!" she shouted. She let go of Jin-Ho's hand and ran towards Minwoo. Minwoo ran towards her as well. Both fell into one another arms. Minwoo envelope her into a hug.
Meena felt her tears coming and before long, she was crying. Crying for all that she had lost and gain. She was in Minwoo's arms again and this time, it wasn't just a hug of friendship but she felt love washing over both of them in this hug.
Minwoo kiss Meena's cheek. "Meena...why did you left? Why did you want Jin-Ho?" he asked.
Meena backed away, her eyelashes glossy from her tears. "How could I stay, Minwoo? You have Hyekyo...I was intruding your love life with her. I felted so left out and unwanted near you. I move out to get away from all those stress but it all hurts and I decided to get away from everything but you came..."
Minwoo kissed her forehead. "Meena...you know! You know I still love you...you know how much it hurts for me when I had seen you with Jin-Ho. You didn't know how much it hurts for me to see you with him. I try moving on...I try being cold towards you...but I knew that I still love you all along..."
Minwoo looked up and saw that Jin-Ho was staring. He then slowly turned and walked away. Meena turned too and both watched as Jin-Ho walked off. The crowd swallow him up. That was the last time they had ever saw Jin-Ho again.
That night, Minwoo took Meena to the beach. Both sat and watched the sunset. "I love the sunset..," said Meena. "It is the most precius gift nature had given us. And only but a few people had seen this beauty of nature..."
"I like the sunrise...it seem so pure..," said Minwoo.
Meena nodded. "That's what Hyekyo like..," she replied. Minwoo felt something hitting his heart...as if a jolt of pain but he ignore it. This was his chance with Meena and he wasn't losing it. Minwoo encircle his arms around her and press her against him, hugging her tightly as both watched the stars come out.
