Minwoo and Meena were packing up to go back home. "Oh oppa...I'm so glad you came for me..," said Meena, grinning like a little child. Minwoo smile too. He touched Meena's cheek.
"I'm glad too, Meena..," he said. He turned back to packing when his cell phone rang. Minwoo picked it up. "Hello?" he said.
Silent.
"Hello?" Minwoo said again. Then he heard a click and the line went dead. "What the..," said Minwoo. Meena arched an eyebrow, confuse. Minwoo shrugged and turned it off. He started packing again.
"Who was it?" asked Meena.
"Some prankster..," answered Minwoo. He clicked his suitcase shut and turned to Meena, grasping onto the handle. "Come on, Meena. Let's go home.."

Hyekyo didn't know what to do. "It was stupid to call him..," she said. She let out a sigh. Then her cell phone rang and she picked it up, staring at it. Minwoo. Hyekyo's heart skip a beat. Should she pick it up? Slowly, Hyekyo clicked on it and put it near her hear. "Hello?" she said.
"Hey...Kyo?" came Minwoo's gentle sweet voice. Hyekyo blinked fast as she heard his voice. "Hyekyo??"
"Oh...I'm here...Minwoo..," said Hyekyo, hoping her voice didn't tremble.
"Hey...I found Meena..."
"You did? Oh that's great!!" Hyekyo force some cheerfulness into her voice. "When are you two...coming back...??" She swallow and suddenly, her throat seemed dry and it seem to be choking her words.
"We're in the airplane now...about a quarter to two...can you pick us up? Or are you busy?"
'Busy...,' Hyekyo thought to say. But she couldn't lie to Minwoo. If she did, she would die. Hyekyo close her eyes so it won't hurt so much to talk to him. "I'm...I'm not busy...I'll be there...I'll pick you up...," she promised. Minwoo smile.
"Great!" he said. "Until then...see you Hyekyo!"
"Bye..." Beep. Hyekyo opened her eyes. She couldn't bring herself to hang up. She so badly wanted Minwoo to call her back. But he didn't and instead, her cell phone ran out of battery.
At the precise time, Hyekyo got on her jacket and drove over to the airport. There she saw Minwoo and Meena. Hyekyo's heart was stung as she saw Minwoo's arms around Meena. Hyekyo walked over to them quietly.
"Hey Hyekyo..," said Minwoo as his eyes caught her figure. He would notice her from anywhere. She was like a light in the dark, the soft in the heart, the angel between the devils.
"Hey Minwoo...hey Meena..," said Hyekyo. Meena flash her a grin and Hyekyo returned a force one. Never would she show her weakness towards Meena. The way home for Hyekyo was dull silence. She didn't hear anything Minwoo and Meena were chattering to her about Paris.
When they reached Meena's house, she got out. "Bye oppa Minwoo! Bye unnie Hyekyo!!" She waved like a little pretty girl that looked innocent.
"Bye Meena...," said Hyekyo.
Minwoo got out of the car and hugged Meena, then kiss her cheek in front of Hyekyo before proceeding into saying good bye. When he did, he got back into the car and Hyekyo drove off. Her eyes were stung with tears. The two were silent.
When Hyekyo reached Minwoo house, she didn't even look at him nor say goodbye. Minwoo stared at Hyekyo. "Hyekyo...are you okay?" he asked.
"Good night..," Hyekyo answered and she drove off. Her tears were threatening to fall but she refuse it. When she got home, she fell onto her sofa and fainted.
The next day, it was drizzling outside and the weather was so humid. Hyekyo took a stroll around the park as the rain pitter patter on her hair and skin. She fel refreshingly cool. Then she saw Minwoo and Meena...together...kissing. Her heart was torned.
Meena then pulled away and smile at Minwoo. One last kiss before she got into her car and drove off. Minwoo waved after her and watched it, never letting his eyes off the car until it was out of his sight. Then he turned and notice Hyekyo.
"Oh...Hyekyo..," he said, his eyes widening. Hyekyo looked away. Then she turned and started walking. "WAIT!!" Minwoo ran after her. He caught up with her. "Hyekyo...wait..," he said.
"What?" asked Hyekyo.
"Can you please stop walking...??"
Hyekoy stopped and turned. "What!?" she asked impatiently.
"Look...about us..." Minwoo struggle for words. "I know...that this is hurting to me and you...and I don't want you to suffer anymore than I have. Hyekyo...let's...let's let the 'us'...let it burn..." Tears sprang immediately up to Hyekyo's eyes.
"Wh-what?" she asked.
"Let it burn..," said Minwoo. "I know...I say that I had love you...and...everything...but...you know...we gotta let it burn. It's too painful...for both of us...but trust me...all those times we had share together...I will never lose it...I will treasure those precious memories....Hyekyo...but...let...let everything burn to ashes and let it be forgotten..."
Then Hyekyo felt her tears falling. She started crying uncontrolably. Hyekyo choked on her saliva.
"Hyekyo.." Minwoo reached for her but she pulled away. "I'm sorry...please don't cry..," begged Minwoo. His thought was that she was crying for the loss of him...but what he didn't know that she wasn't. It hurt her that she had lost him...but that wasn't why she was crying. She was crying before she had step into a fairytale she knew will never come true...she had believe in love when it was all fake.
"Hyekyo..," said Minwoo as he wiped her tears.
"What?" Hyekyo asked, staring into Minwoo's eyes.
"Are you okay? Look...I'm sorry..," said Minwoo. Hyekyo shook her head.
"No...," she said. "Like I said before Minwoo...no needs for sorries...there's no use in apologizing..." She swallow a couple of time before speaking. "Like you say...let it burn...I'll let our relationship burn, Minwoo. And when it finally hits you...the real truth in life...it's gonna burn your soul...."
With that, Hyekyo turned and walked off. That night, she laid on her side on her bed and sobbed. She had the song...."Burn" by Usher. Hyekyo listen to it and started crying. Her heart was bruise...
