Chapter 22

Do You Love Me?

Minwoo couldn't talked Hyekyo until two weeks later. She was in a coma for two weeks and Minwoo, for that two weeks, didn't went to work. He, instead, go visit her at the hospital. Meena on the other hand was in a deep quiet pain. She knew that she love Minwoo but she was able to give him up...just the way Hyekyo was able to gave Minwoo up for her.

Then, finally, after two weeks of praying, a phone call came. No one was home so a message was left behind. When Minwoo did got home, he saw the message beeping and quickly rushed to it. He had a feeling it was for him and him only. His slender scrawny finger clicked the button.

Beep.

"Hell? This is the Lee resident if I'm not mistaking. Well, Mister Lee, Hyekyo was awoken now. Just for you to know since you were quite concern over her health. She is fully now awake but is a little weak as well, hadn't been eating for two weeks can bring you to lost quite some weight so don't demand for her why she is quite a stick. But do come see her. Dr. Kim."

Beep.

Minwoo heart was pounding. Talking to Hyekyo again mean as much as going to the stars and moon. He quickly walked outside again and almost bumped into Meena. "Woah!!" cried Meena.

"Oops! Sorry!!" apologized Minwoo without a single stopping in his running. He simply ran to his car and got in. His hand fumbled for the right keys for a moment before proceeding into driving off.

Meena blinked for a moment. She went into the house and saw the message. From one beep, she heard everything. Meena took a deep breath. She simply decided that if she let Minwoo go confess his ove for Hyekyo, she was proving to moving on...with or without Minwoo by herside.

Meena walked to the door and close it. Then she walked over to the sofa and sat down, waiting until Minwoo come back again.

Minwoo's heart was pounding in his ears. When he reached the hospital, his felt as if his blood had drained away. He stopped his car and sat in there for some moment, wondering if Hyekyo would even bother to see him. He decided that maybe he shouldn't go...maybe she hated him.

'Just go!!' Minwoo argued with himself. 'There's no more time!! Just go dammit!! Whether or not she wants to love you back!!' Minwoo got out and walked towards the hospital.

He got in and walked to the elevator where it took him to the floor where Hyekyo was on. He went to her room and peek at first. She was really awake. Hyekyo was lying on her bed, concetrating on the wall for not the slightest reason.

Minwoo opened the door and enter, closing the door behind him. Hyekyo looked up. She saw Minwoo and her heart skip a single beat. He was the last person she wanted to see that day...but somehow...he was her first guest.

"Hyekyo..," said Minwoo.

Hyekyo looked away. "Go away..," she answered. Minwoo stared, not making any single movements at all. Hyekyo stared coldly at Minwoo. Despite the coldness containing her face, her eyes shown great pain and sorrow. If only Minwoo had concetrate hard, he would have seen her pain and sorrow. But he wasn't concetrating on her eyes.

"Hyekyo..," said Minwoo. "I'm sorry...really...I am. I'm...I'm sorry in everything I did for you. I know you say that there's no need for sorries...but...I can't help it!! I did so much to hurt you and you never did any pain back in return!! Hyekyo...I felt like a fool...a complete fool who took you for granted. Can you please accept my apologies??" Hyekyo looked away again, this time, speaking softly to Minwoo.

"I have always told you that there's no need for sorry haven't I? Well...Minwoo...if you're sorry for everything you're doing you shouldn't be here. You should be with Meena...loving her truly...not here telling me some words that meant nothing...completely nothing at all to me. I've been through too much to accept any of your numb words..." Her words were hard hitting and were as cold as ice towards Minwoo.

If it was ice, it would have flew at him and not hit his physical figure, but his heart.

"Hyekyo...," Minwoo ventured up to say. "Do you love me?"

Tears sparkle in Hyekyo's eyes. She stared at Minwoo. Tears were threatening to drop down from her eyes but she fought them back, she didn't want Minwoo to see her cry anymore. "Minwoo..," she said in a tremble voice. "Tomorrow...meet me in the mountain where you had took me for my birthday...there...I'll tell you my answer. Now...I shall have the permission to tell you to exit until tomorrow..."

Minwoo stared. He swallow. Then he simply turned and walked out.
