"You're right..," said Minwoo. "Good night Meena..." Meena went back to sleep and Minwoo drift off into a restless sleep, dreaming of his Hyekyo. The next day, Minwoo threw on some clothes. Minwoo got into his car and drove to the mountain where he had took Hyekyo.
When he reached there, he saw Hyekyo. She was there, already, waiting. She was always so precise. Minwoo stopped his car and got out. "Hyekyo!!" he shouted. Hyekyo turned. The wind whipped her hair into her face.
Hyekyo's eyes were like two skimmering black disk. It sparkle as the sun ray hit it. Minwoo jogged over to her. "Hyekyo..," he said.
Hyekyo looked away. "For better or for worse...you came..," she said in a soft voice. Minwoo nodded. "Why? You barely came to anything I had ask of you before..."
"How could you say that?" asked Minwoo.
"I'm not stupid Minwoo..," said Hyekyo. She stared straight into Minwoo's eyes. "Minwoo...you ask me if I love you..." Minwoo nodded, his heart pounding in his heart. It was racing madly. Hyekyo took a deep breath. She looked away. "Before I can say my answer...explain to me what you think of love..."
"Love...is...loving until death...going as far as the person they love will go...not letting go...keep them forever closely to their heart...," explained Minwoo from his own knowledge. Hyekyo nodded.
"Okay..," she said. "You think you know what love is eh? Well Lee Minwoo...who have you love? Meena or me in the past?" Minwoo stutter and choked on his saliva. "Not surprise..," said Hyekyo in a cold voice. She was so cold now that it was hard to believe she was the Hyekyo Minwoo had dated before.
Hyekyo blinked fast all of a sudden. "Minwoo...time's moving on. Everything's over. Let it burn..," she said. Minwoo's heart skip a beat. Was she letting him go?? He couldn't believe it. NO!!!
"What!?" he cried out.
"You say so yourself...let it burn. It's too painful...for both of us...but trust me...all those times we had share together...I will never lose it...I will treasure those precious memories....Minwoo...but...let...let everything burn to ashes and let it be forgotten..."
Minwoo couldn't believe he had said those words. Tears sprang to his eyes. "Hyekyo...please...I...I love you..."
Hyekyo stared at Minwoo. Her eyes glitter in tears. That was then when Minwoo finally concetrate on her eyes and notice the unseen pain and struggle she had held. He had never notice...or if he did, he had chosen not to care. "I love you too..," said Hyekyo as if love was a game.
Minwoo got angry. "LIAR!!" he shouted. "You're lying!! You're saying as if mocking me!! I'm serious!! I love you Hyekyo!! I love you as wide as the earth, as timeless as time, as deep as the ocean, as endless as the sky!!"
To Hyekyo's surpries, a single tear drop from Minwoo's eyes. Her heart got shatter. Minwoo was crying. She had never thought of it to be so painful. "Minwoo..," said Hyekyo. She wiped his tears and he held her hand to his cheek. "Minwoo...I'm sorry..," said Hyekyo.
Minwoo gently shook his head. "No needs for sorries..," he said. Hyekyo, despite her pain, gave a painful smile. That was her quote.
"Minwoo...you and I had something special together before..," said Hyekyo, "but after everything...let just let everything go and start over again. This is one journey that is feel with stress and pain...but we made it. We finished the journey and the game...the game of love...we finished it all. After every game...it comes to departure...it's time for our departure..."
Minwoo shook his head. "No...I cannot possibly lost you..," he said, not believeing.
"Minwoo...even if you hurt me...I'll still be loving you forever more..," said Hyekyo.
"Baby girl...Why won't you come back to me? Why won't you love me...anymore??" asked Minwoo. Hyekyo swallow her cries.
"It hurts..," she answered. She pulled her hand away from his cheek. "Minwoo...I love you...despite all the pain and everything you had put me through...I held on. And because of it...you made me stronger. Minwoo...like I say before. I'll be loving you forever more...it's just...I'll love you from afar. You know Meena is in your heart...you know you love Meena...you know...I'm just a friend..."
Tears silently fell down more from Minwoo's eyes. Had he really lost her? He didn't know...but he felt bruise. He pulled Hyekyo close and hugged her tightly, buring his face into her neck. Hyekyo had to admit of crying. It was painful to let go...but she had to. She didn't want to go through it anymore.
Hyekyo then pulled away. She was crying hard. "Good bye..," she whispered and walked off slowly. "Hyekyo!!" shouted Minwoo. Hyekyo stopped walking, but she didn't turned. She was waiting for what Minwoo had to say. "Hyekyo...if you want to let go...I'm not stopping you. But if you ever have a chance...listen to the song 'I Need You By My Side' by Devotion...if you listen to it you will know how much I love you. And also remember this...I'll be waiting for you...till the day I have you in my arms again....I'll be loving you forever more..." Hyekyo cover her nose and mouth with her hand as she sobbed and ran off.
He close his eyes, letting the remains of the tears drop. Slowly, he walked back to his car and drove home. When he got there, Meena was there. "Oppa...," she said. Minwoo was weak. Meena ran to him and hugged him tightly. "Oppa...," she said. "Why...??"
"I love her...to love someone...you gotta let go first...," was Minwoo's replied.

Hyekyo was crying. She had did the most immpossible thing...she had rejected Minwoo's love. It hurt, she knows but it didn't matter anymore. Everything was burn and nothing was left but ashes. Like her heart...it was all ashes now only.

It was three weeks later when Minwoo was inform that Hyekyo left Korea. She left and wasn't coming back. He was alone...he had to face everyhting alone now. Hyekyo...he lost her. He slowly walked to his car and drove home. When he got home, he saw a envelope on his door. Miwnoo picked it up and opened it. In it was nothing but only a few words...

When nothing is left...nothing is gain...but when the tears are the only thing remain...letting go...would mean starting anew again.
***** (Five Years Later...)
Minwoo sat down on the rock and let the wind blew his hair. This was his place...her place...THEIR special place. The mountain high above everything else where he could view every beauty of nature.
He could clearly remember when he first took her hair and how special the moment was for her..how she had hugged him when he had playfully teased her into falling. Minwoo had to wipe his eyes to not let the tears fall. Was it the wind only? Or was it tears of shame...of love...?? He didn't know.
'Maybe if I had been better...she would have never left..,' he thought. He stared into the sky. Like the endless sky...life goes on...and he knew that maybe one day he'll see Hyekyo again. But all he knew was...he'll be still waiting for her...loving her forever more...
