The tune of “My heart will go on” gently wakes sleepy Flora up. She stirs, and without opening her eyes, fumbles blindly for her cell phone:
FLORA: (sleepily) Yeah?
The voice from the other end holds a slight tone of horror:
MOSES: Oh my God, are you still sleeping?
FLORA: Moses? Why? It’s still early… Oh no…
Flora has finally lifted her eyelids enough to see it is not as early as she wishes it would be... Already 8 a.m.!
MOSES: Wake up please, Flora. You have an appointment with the new group at 8:30 remember? Hello? Hello? Are you there?
But all Moses hears is the flat beeping tone… Flora has already hung up. Moses shakes his head and taps his fingers slightly on the steering wheel… Flora is a great actress, and Moses feels honored to be her manager. Her only problem is that she always sleeps like a baby. That amuses Moses… Flora is so different from all the other actresses Moses has worked with.
Moses doesn’t have to wait long. He finds Flora rushing toward his car only 15 minutes later. Her hair is still damp from the morning shower. Moses stares:
FLORA: (light-heartedly) Why the stare, Moses? You’re supposed to say Good Morning Miss!
MOSES: Good morning, Miss. But you.. you..
FLORA: What?
Moses sighs. How fresh and lovely Flora looks without her makeup. But they’re heading to a meeting for a new contract…
MOSES: Put on your make-up, Miss, please!
FLORA: (teasingly, pretends to gasp) Oh no, I don’t have my gears…
MOSES: (sighs again and reaches to open his glove box) I have a spare set for you, Flora. Please just put some color on.
FLORA: (pouts) Why? Do I look that dreadful without makeup?
MOSES: (exasperatedly) Please Flora! Just put them on…. For the sake of being professional, that’s all!
FLORA: (teases on) Ha! Now you’re accusing me of being unprofessional?
MOSES: (hastily) No, no, I didn’t mean that… I..I … (stammering)
Flora glances sideway to see Moses turns slightly red. She laughs…
FLORA: Sorry Moses, I was just messing with you. Sorry for being late. (sincerely) I won’t do that again. I’ll set up my alarm next time!
Moses silently heaves a sigh of relieve, shakes his head and smiles. Flora! She’s just so … different, so natural, so refreshing. And how he adores that!
Aloud, Moses averts the topic...
MOSES: You don’t have to get to the ATE set until after lunch. Would you want to have lunch together today?
Flora mumbles as she’s applying a soft layer of lipstick. Moses chuckles. The lipstick does indeed make its wonder! Flora has transformed from a lovely little girl into a sophisticate career woman.
FLORA: Sure, but you will have to eat with me on the set. My shooting starts very shortly after lunch.

(ATE set, break time… Flora, Gallen and Roger are sitting around.)
ROGER: (mischievously) Flora, tell me! How was it?
GALLEN: (blushes) If you don’t stop this very moment, I’ll make sure you regret it...
Flora glances at Gallen with intense curiosity. It should be her who blushes at Roger’s silly questioning game, not Gallen. They are talking about a scene they had days ago, it was an intimate scene between Tim and Helen. Roger seems to immensely enjoy bringing it up, just to pull his friend’s leg.
ROGER: (laughs) Look at you! I’m not asking you Gallen! I’m only talking to Flora… Flora, tell me…
Flora smiles sweetly without saying anything. Then taking Roger by surprise, she swiftly springs up and hit him on his head with the script she has on hand
ROGER: Ouch, biu mui, what’s that for?
FLORA: (smirks playfully) For being too nosy!
Gallen lets out a chuckle. Roger with his big mouth deserves it! Roger shifts to face Gallen squarely
ROGER: She hits me to defend you. Now what does it mean?
Gallen shrugs. He simply can’t match Roger’s tongue… From now on it would be Roger talks and Gallen ignores. Flora rolls her eyes….
Gallen is only saved by the loud authoritative voice of the director…
LOUIS/Director: Okay everyone… Back to action!

(Entrance to ATE set)
Flora checks her watch again. Bowie is already 10 minutes late. He must be extremely busy at his set, for he didn’t pick up her phone earlier… Gallen and Roger match out…
GALLEN: Flora, I see you didn’t drive in today. Need a ride home?
FLORA: Thanks Gall, but Bowie promises to pick me up…
GALLEN: Oh! See you tomorrow then…
Flora is puzzled to see Gallen rushes back just a moment later. He thrusts a little square package into her hand.
GALLEN: I found it the other day… Thought you might like to have it!
Flora eyes lit up… She lets out a little gasp as her fingers eagerly rip off the cover… Celine Dion’s latest album!
FLORA: “That’s the Way It Is”! How could you have this? I thought it’s not released until the end of this year?
GALLEN: (smiles shyly) Glad you like it. Okay, I’ve got to go. Roger is waiting for me!
Flora’s eyes glue on the music CD… She waves Gallen off without looking up. Celine Dion is always her favourite!

(Gallen’s car, heading to his parents’ house for dinner)
ROGER: If you like her, then tell her!
GALLEN: (retorts) If YOU like her, then tell her, too!
ROGER (chuckles amusingly) Fair game?
GALLEN: Fair game!
ROGER: (sighs) I don’t think it’s really fair!
GALLEN: Bowie?
ROGER: Yeah, he’s always beside her. I mean after work! It’s always dinner with Bowie, lunch with Bowie, drink with Bowie… I mean, he’s practically her boyfriend!
GALLEN: (laughs) Be careful there Roger! If Flora hears that, she sure will get mad and you, my friend, will not stand a chance. Bowie is her best friend!
ROGER: (groans) Yeah right! (straightens up on his seat and thrusts forward his chest) But I’ll set on my target. I’ll either have her heart by Valentine’s Day, or else she will forever be my biu mui!
