“Ji Sung sshi? What are you doing here? Are you hurt anywhere?” She asked in concern as she examined him from head to toe briefly. But from the looks of it, he doesn’t seem to be injured anywhere, so that could only mean…
“It’s not me… I-it the Boss.” Ji Sung stuttered slightly.
“Mr. Choi? What happened?” She started like an interrogation. Ji Sung just kept his gaze away and his face scrunched up in anxiety.
“Ji Sung, I am his doctor. I have the right to know what’s happening to help with his condition… please.” Yeon Hee softened her tone down but still kept it stern and demanding. Ji Sung looked up at her and knew he has no choice.

Mr. Choi sat quiet and stared anxiously at Yeon Hee as she read through her clipboard. She has hurriedly went to put on her white coat to show she was back to duty and had wasted no time retrieving the necessary details from the doctor that has been handling Mr. Choi case for the past days.
“Hmm… Blood pressure seems higher than usual and…” Yeon Hee stopped her sentence as she laid a tap on the clipboard and look at Mr. Choi with a stern face.
“You have been drinking, haven’t you?” She asked and Mr. Choi could sense the anger in her tone despite how she kept it low.
“Well, it’s only a few bottles…” Mr. Choi trailed off and blinked frantically when Yeon Hee arched an eyebrow at him in suspicion.
“… a day.” He continued and ended with an uncomfortable cough.
“A day?! No wonder your condition has worsen…” She sighed heavily and shown an upset face.
“This is what happens when I let my sight away from you for just awhile. It is decided… You are going back to the usual diet I set out for you. I will just have to transfer you back under my care…”
“Does that mean you have forgiven me, Yeon Hee sshi?” Mr. Choi inserted and eyed Yeon Hee’s reaction. She went still for a moment before her face scrunched up to the thought. The matter has completely slipped off her mind. She had totally forgotten how she went back to busy herself with works in the hospital to avoid herself from having to care for Mr. Choi, expecting the old man to be well enough able to manage his own diet. But things just went back to the start.
“Jaejoong sshi is right…” Yeon Hee snapped from her thoughts and diverted back to Mr. Choi, seeing the old man sighing deeply before he continued.
“At a point there I really wanted Jaejoong to pull the trigger on me, so to prove that I was never wrong at who he really was, that I was never wrong at anything… My decisions have always been the best course of actions… But look at me now…”
Mr. Choi uttered a bitter chuckle and shook his head.
“A pathetic old man that took such a severe attack to awaken him from his actions… Indeed I have been keeping everything within my grasp and the powers… it was just a tool to prove I have done no wrong in the lights of myself and the people around. Who dares to question that my decision oppose any right?!”
Mr. Choi suddenly let off a terrible cough thus leading to Yeon Hee rushing up to his side with a hand rubbing against his chest to soothe his breathing.
“I was deprived from my wife’s love when those insignificant fools took her away from me under this foolish battle for power. I thought keeping all these power and control to myself was a reason for not letting her death be a waste but I was wrong… Once again, because of all these power… I was deprived of my son’s love as well, unconsciously making his life like some… puppet show although my true intention was to keep him from facing the same tragedy as my wife, to let him see that his old man wants everything best for him and in return for just a simple condition – to not misjudge me and leave me as his mother did.”
“So when Aya came by… you became jealous, didn’t you?” Mr. Choi tilted his head to Yeon Hee and chuckled bitterly as he nodded.
“Aish~ What a foolish old man I have been. My son was giving all his attention to that petite girl that have never once see him any higher than a close friend yet his old man here was craving for his attention every single moment but it never came through to him. So something inside of me just snapped. Maybe… with that girl rid from this world… Siwon won’t have to suffer like this and this lonely old Mr. Choi will get the attention he well deserved.”
Yeon Hee unknowingly laughed upon his words and Mr. Choi arched an eyebrow at her.
“Then what about me? Why doesn’t the jealousy cell sparked upon me?” Yeon Hee teased. Mr. Choi looked at Yeon Hee with a warm smile.
“When I first saw you… I can see you were a very dedicated and capable young lady, your eyes were gentle when mentioned about Siwon. I see someone in you actually…”
“Really? Who?” Yeon Hee asked with her eyes gleamed with curiosity.
“You reminded me a lot of my wife…” He answered with a loving smile as he stared to the front.
“Mrs. Choi? She must have been a very great woman.”
“Yes… but I have disappointed her. I haven’t been taking good care of our son. I’ve only been forcing my ways on him instead of truly listening to what he has to say. Just like what Jaejoong said… my wife must be weeping in heaven watching me now. I caused her to not be at peace even when she is death.”
“Well… it’s never too late to turn back. Family never stays angry at each other for long. I am sure Siwon has never planted any hatred to you in heart. He will forgive you in time.” She assured with a beam and Mr. Choi smiled back in return.
“Have you told him of your current condition?” Yeon Hee asked absentmindedly as she looked back to the clipboard.
“Well… I was hoping… you could do that for me.” Mr. Choi lowered his gaze when Yeon Hee returned to him widened eyes.
“W-what?! Me? I-I can’t.”
“Please Yeon Hee sshi. You know what kind of state I am in now.” Mr. Choi purposely ended with a cough and eyed Yeon Hee’s response.
“You can just ask one of your men to inform him. I-I got lots of work here so I can’t go away.” Yeon hee turned away to avoid Mr. Choi’s pleading face.
“Yeon Hee ah, you are the only one I trust and you are most clear about my current condition so you have the element of persuasion. And… I already checked your schedule, you have taken a leave for the next few days.”
Yeon Hee turned back to Mr. Choi and scoffed in annoyance.
“You are so sly… You have early plan for this didn’t you?” Yeon Hee narrowed her eyes at him and he just shrugged innocently.
“Well, not really. It was just a coincidence that you are going to the same place he is at.” Mr. Choi defended.
“Siwon is in Korea? But-” Yeon Hee was going to argue more but halted when Mr. Choi was giving his pleading look with a pout.
“Oh no! Don’t give me that look. You are not a kid anymore for goodness sake. Stop pouting like a child.” She knew he won’t listen because it has always been his way to make her soften and bent to his will, which she hated so much.
“Aigoo~ Seriously Mr. Choi!” Yeon Hee looked away in annoyance, trying to ignore his pleading face but find herself kept glancing back at him.
“Fine… Only because I have matters to attend to in Korea and he is coincidently there. I don’t guarantee to bring him back.” She muttered in defeat and sighed. Mr. Choi’s face instantly lit up in victory and nodded. Yeon Hee could only shake her head to the old man’s behavior.

Yeon Hee perked her head up to the path ahead and noticed one of old village house situated a short distance ahead. She lowered her view back down to the address written on the piece of post-it pasted on her palm to affirmed if she was in the right track before lifting her gaze up again.
“This should be it…” She muttered to herself and heaved a breath as she approached the house up ahead. Once she was at a close distance to the door of the house, she stopped on track when a person came walking out of the place. He shut the door on his way out before turning and stood stunned when he was met with Yeon Hee’s presence.
“Yeon Hee…” Siwon muttered in surprise. Yeon Hee’s lips curved up a smile. She was about to greet him when she caught the sight of an elderly woman walking out of the place then after.
“Woo Bin ah, you forgot your handphone.” The woman spoke gently and let her hand touched around Siwon till she located his jacket pocket and placed his handphone in.
“Woo…Bin? Then this lady is…?” Yeon Hee unknowingly murmured as she eyed the blinded woman staying so close to Siwon. Despite how soft Yeon Hee spoke, the woman seemed to hear her and shifted her head towards Yeon Hee’s direction as she show a warm smile.
“Woo Bin ah, do you have guest?” The woman asked as she returned to Siwon and gave a tug at his arm.
“Y-yes, Umma. She is a friend.” Siwon lowered his head to the woman and spoke gently to her as he patted her grip on his arm.
“Annyeong Auntie.” Yeon Hee greeted cheerfully as she approached the elderly woman side and bent her upper body slightly to be at face level with her. The elderly woman then reeled her hands from Siwon and reached to touch Yeon Hee’s face all over. It gave Yeon Hee a startle at first but quickly remained calm and just smile as the woman felt her through her touches.
“I can tell you are one beautiful lady. What’s your name?” The woman asked while now onward to grabbing Yeon Hee’s hands and feeling them within hers.
“Lee Yeon Hee, Auntie. And thanks for the compliment.” The woman nodded in delight as she patted Yeon Hee’s hand gently.
“Yeon Hee sshi, have you been friends with our Woo Bin for a long time?” The woman asked further.
“Pretty much.” Yeon Hee answered.
“Yah Woo Bin! Why you never bring Yeon Hee back to see me?” The woman suddenly turned to Siwon and yelled angrily.
“T-that…”
“Yeon Hee sshi, does our Woo Bin treat you well?” The woman questioned some more, interrupting Siwon.
“Well…” Yeon Hee hung her words as she cast a brief glance at Siwon.
“Yes he does, Auntie. Not to worry.”
“Woo Bin ah, why are you just standing there for? Invite Yeon Hee in for some tea! Aigoo this child of mine.” The woman continued nagging.
“Y-yes.”
Yeon Hee can’t help a giggle escaped her mouth seeing Siwon so helpless in front of this elderly woman. It was a cute to see this side of Choi Siwon.
“Come in Yeon Hee. We have much to chat about. It’s been long since I have any visitors… You should join us for dinner…” The woman kept talking excitedly like she was meeting her daughter-in-law. Yeon Hee let the woman gripped on her arm as support while they entered the place. She glanced back over her shoulder at Siwon and saw him giving her a glare but she just giggled more in return.

This is sort of a cliffhanger here. Sorry about the name. I am bad at creating names and just thought of using Woo Bin well cuz, another reason is it will be better to imagine the character (for those watched Boys Over Flowers). Let's take a guess at the story shall we? ;)
