{Could it be there?}
She squatted down by her bed and used her hand to search under the bed, touching to find where she had placed it. Then, she finally found it and drags the case out. She sat on the bed, placing the case on her lap. She opens the case and it revealed her violin.
A smile came on her face as she caresses the brown shining surface of the violin. This violin brings back many memories back when she was in China. It had always been by her side no matter where she goes. Arriving in Korea, she almost forgot about it until Yoona and Yeon Hee mentioned it.
She rested the violin firmly on her left shoulder, her right hand holding onto the bow and started playing it. How she missed the melody flowing out from it. It made her forget all the unhappy things happened recently and indulge herself into the music being played.

Junsu was walking up the stairs heading to his room when he heard the sound of a violin being played.
{Hee Bon?!}
Junsu rushed to the room where the melody was coming from. He just barged into the room, seeing the figure in front of him playing the violin, a happy expression long lost from his face appeared again.
But sadly when it turns and revealed Ri In instead, the expression instantly disappears and an angry emotion took in.
“Junsu…”
“Don’t you ever play violin in this house EVER AGAIN!!!”
Junsu marched forward to Ri In, snatching the violin from her and tossing it hard to one side. Ri In watched as her beloved violin was tossed to the floor right in front of her. She looked at Junsu directly in the eyes, giving him a slap on his right cheek.
Junsu just marched out of her room, promptly shutting the door behind him. Ri In rushed to where her violin was tossed and picked it up. She examined her violin and found that there are scratches and one of its strings split. She held the violin close to her chest and tears started running down her face. This violin was a gift from her mom just before she was hospitalized. She promised that the day her mom was to recover she would play a song for her using this violin. Without her mom by her side now, this violin is the only thing closest to her. She can endure any temper he throws at her but messing with her violin has crossed the line.

Junsu was back at his room and he threw himself onto his bed. He touches his cheek gently and could still feel it red and burning from the slap from Ri In just now. Finally able to calm down, Junsu thought back of his action and realized what a jerk he was. He turned to stare at the violin placed nicely on his study desk; the aching feeling came back again…
[Junsu POV: Flashback]
[Song played: You’re my miracle (Piano version)]
The room was filled with the melody played from Hee Bon’s violin and the piano I was using. I could see the calm yet happy expression on her face as she plays the violin. She moves a little around gracefully, like a ballerina on stage. The cool breeze blowing in from the window brushed through her hair, the whole atmosphere was very relaxing.
After we stopped at the last note, she looked at me with her bright smile.
“We make such a great duet…”
“Oh really? I feel like I had a hard time following your lead.” I said teasingly.
“Practice makes perfect!” she said, flicking her finger on my nose, then let out a light giggle.
“Why are you always so happy?” I asked while staring at her.
“If we would pass each day no matter if we are happy or sad, why not passed them with a smile on our face.” She answered, her back facing me.
I giggled at her explanation. She really is the happy pill of my life. I don’t know what I would do without her.
“What’s so funny?”
I stretch out my hand to her; she stretched out her hand and put them onto mine. I held it and pulled her towards me, sitting her on my lap as my arms wrapped around her waist.
“Nothing… Just… I don’t know what I would do without you…”
There was a moment of silent as we just stared into each other’s eyes. She then shut her eyes tight and I took that as a signal to kiss her. I moved in closer to her, the gap between us shorter and I also closed my eyes preparing to kiss her, but then I open my eyes as I felt two hands pushing my cheeks together till my mouth pucker-up.
“You look like a goldfish…” she said, restraining her laughter.
“Trying to fool me? I am getting my kiss no matter what.”
Hee Bon jumped off my lap and ran all over the room, trying to not get caught by me. But at the end she still gave in to me and I wrapped her in my embrace.
Staying so close to her, I could smell the lavender scent from her body. She always likes the scent of lavender. I leaned in closer to her, attempting to kiss her again. As my lip got closer to hers, she lifted up one finger and placed it on my lip which stopped me in place.
“I love you Junsu…”
“I love you too Hee Bon…”
With that, she finally stop resisting and we kiss as it deepens more passionate and sweet. Hee Bon was the only girl that made me felt that way; there may not be another one in the world ever again.
[End Flashback]
Junsu heard a few knocks on his door, he straighten himself and clear his throat.
“Come in…”
“Young master… the mistress and master are back and they request that you go down to meet them.” The maid said.
“Okay. I will be right over…”

“Junsu…”
Mrs.Kim pulled Junsu into a hug. Junsu separated from the hug and gave a bow to his father.
“Hey mom… dad… I miss you guys.”
“We miss you too. Hope you been behaving yourself when we are gone.” Mr. Kim said.
“Aigoo… Junsu is not a little kid anymore… he knows how to behave himself.” Mrs. Kim replied.
Just then, Ri In came down the stairs. Mr and Mrs Kim turned their attention to her.
“Dear… you remember Ri In do you?” Mrs. Kim said, pulling Ri In to face Mr Kim.
“This is little Ri In? Why… she had grown into such a beautiful lady.”
“Thanks for the compliment uncle.” Ri In gave a light bow in respect.
“Ri In… why are your eyes so red? Have you been crying?” Mrs Kim asked, sounding concern.
“I… “
Ri In took a quick glance at Junsu who looked away, avoiding it.
“I just miss my mom that’s all…” Ri In answered.
“Aww… you poor dear… Come on! Let’s have some dinner.”
Mr and Mrs Kim walked off with Ri In and Junsu walking behind them.
“Thank you…” Junsu whispered to Ri In.
Ri In just remained silent and walks ahead. Junsu was the one receiving the cold shoulder this time.

Junsu was reading a book when he heard a few knocks on his door.
“Come in…” Junsu said, closing his book.
Junsu saw that it was his mother coming in this time.
“Junsu… be honest with me… Did something happened between you and Ri In while I was gone?”
“Nothing…” Junsu answered, avoiding his mother’s gaze. He opened the book again and starts reading it.
Mrs. Kim uttered a sigh. She knows her little boy too well, his reaction tells her that something indeed happened, just that he is hiding it from her. Her little boy is so grown up now that he is hiding things from her.
[Song played: Always on my Mind from Kingdom Heart OST]
She sat beside Junsu and closed the book he was reading, forcing him to switch his attention to her.
“Junsu… I guess you forgot meeting Ri In when you were young?”
“I met Ri In before?!” Junsu looked at his mother with a blur look on his face.
“Remember the little girl you met when you were young? You couldn’t stop talking about her once we left”
Junsu tries to recall back the memories of his past…
[Junsu POV: Flashback]
I followed my parents to China to visit a friend of theirs. When we reach there, they start their adult chitchat, leaving me there listening. Getting bored, I decided to run off myself instead of staying around listening to their boring adult chatting.
I went to the field nearby; the plants ‘dancing’ with the breeze blowing past them. The sound of nature can be very smoothing, but it isn’t the sound of nature that caught my attention. It was the sound of someone humming to a song.
I look around to see where the sound was coming from and my eyes landed on a girl. She was wearing a very cute white dress, sitting on a swing hung on a tree. As she swings forth and back, the breeze blew passed her and her hair moves gently.
She halted and turned to look at me, a smile appeared on her face, a smile that made me blushed unexpectedly. She turned back to stare at the bright blue sky and continue humming that lovely song. I held in a deep breath and make my way towards her.
“Nice song…” I said. She turned to face me again.
“Thanks.” She replied
“Could… could you teach me that song?” I finally asked, feeling a little nervous.
“Sure!” She said with her bright smile.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was able to master the song quite fast since it was a Korean song. We sang it together and the air was filled with the melody of our singing.
“You can sing quite well.” She complimented.
“You too… Maybe we can sing a duet some day.”
“I will be looking forward to that day.” She said, and stretches her pinky towards me. I hook it with my pinky and we sealed in our promise to sing a duet one day in the future, when we meet again.
“Ah~” She stretched her hand into the little pouch she was carrying around and took something out. On her palm she held two butterfly shaped Chinese knot decoration, one was made with pink thread and the other was made with blue thread.
“Here… this is for you. I just learn how to make one. Hope you will like it.”
She handed the blue one to me and I glanced at how finely it was made.
“It is so pretty. You are so talented.”
I saw a light blush on her face when I complimented her. My heart unexpectedly beats faster seeing that cute expression on her face. We continued singing the song, feeling the wind blowing around bringing everything surrounding to dance to our song. That was one of the best memories of my childhood, that girl became my first crush.
[End Flashback]
Mrs. Kim smiled when Junsu gave her a look that tells her he recalled it all.
“Well… I guess I better be going off now. Good night Junsu!”
“Good night mom!”
Just as his mother closed the door on her way out, Junsu got up from his bed and went towards his study desk. He opened one of the drawers and took out a box. Junsu swept off the dust on the box before he opens it, revealing the butterfly Chinese knot decoration. A smile came on his face as he caresses it, remembering her sweet smile.
{So Ri In was that girl… Who would have thought. Wait…}
Junsu stared at the butterfly knot and recalled something. That song… it was the one he heard in the music room that other day.
{Ri In was the one inside the music room that day?!}
[Song end]
