Chapter 13

A smile on both faces; relationship improves

“Morning young master!” the maid greeted Junsu, seeing him standing outside of Ri In room about to knock on her door.

“Morning...” Junsu replied.

“Ms Ri In isn’t in. She has already left for school early this morning.”

“Oh… thank you.”

The maid gave a light bow to Junsu before she went back to her chores,

{I guess she is still mad at me}

Ri In walks down the hallway of the school, looking like she was in some deep thoughts.

“Qing wen ban A de Zhang Li Yin tong xue zai nar?” (May I know where is Class A’s Jang Ri In)

Ri In halted when she heard that familiar voice speaking to her. She turned to look at whom it was and her eyes widened.

“HAN GENG GE!!!” Ri In practically shouted. She went to him and gave him a hug.

“Wrong… you are in Korea now. It is Han Geng Oppa.”

“What are you doing here?”

“I just got transferred here. Aren’t I welcomed?”

“Of course you are!” Ri In answered, giving him a bright smile. This is the first time she is smiling so happily since she arrived in Korea.

Junsu was heading to class when he saw Ri In wrapping her arms around a stranger. A strange feeling developed inside of him as he marched over to them removing Ri In’s hand from that guy and drags her away.

“What are you doing? Let go!”

Ri In released her hand from Junsu’s grip and was rubbing it gently.

“I didn’t know you were so open-minded… Hugging a stranger like that. What were you thinking?”

“Hey Han Geng! Long time no see.”

Junsu and Ri In turned their attention to Jaejoong greeting Han Geng. They both looks like close friend.

“Hey Jaejoong. It’s been a long time. How have you been?”

As Jaejoong and Han Geng chat with each other, Ri In turns her attention back to Junsu.

“Firstly, Han Geng Oppa is not a stranger; and secondly, you don’t have the rights to interfere with my matters.”

Ri In wasn’t afraid to tell Junsu off. The frustration from last night still lingering within her. She ignored Junsu, pushing passed him and walks back to Han Geng.

“Come on! Let me show you around....” Ri In wraps her hands around Han Geng’s hand and led him away, leaving a pissed off Junsu staring as they leave. Jaejoong had then walk back to Junsu.

“You know that guy?” Junsu asked.

“Yeah… He is a nice guy.” Jaejoong said, placing his hand on Junsu’s shoulder.

“Really?”

Junsu’s gaze never left Ri In and Han Geng as they walk further and further away from his sight.

Ri In felt very weary after a long day of school. After arriving back at the mansion she just marched up to her room and threw herself on her comfy bed. Her eyes were about to shut when she saw her violin placed on the study desk; something seems different about it. She got up from the bed and walks towards the table, picking up the violin and examines it. She was surprised to see her violin was as good as new, the scratches were gone and the split string was repaired.

“Junsu… what are you doing peeping?”

Mrs. Kim saw Junsu outside of Ri In’s room peeping through the small gap of the door opened slightly.

“Nothing… Erm… You wanted to talk to me about something right? Come on let’s go…” Junsu stood up and hurried his mother off before his mother could say anything else.

Ri In was by the door listening to the whole conversation. She opens the door and saw Junsu pushing his mother further away, a smile appeared on her face and she held the violin close to her.

Junsu went back to his room and lied on his bed with his feet crossed, his hand touching around to see where is the book he was reading just now and saw that it was on the study desk. He got up and walks towards the table trying to get his book and saw a Post-it slipped onto the page he stopped the last time. He took out the Post-it and read the content.

~Although you didn’t admit it, but thanks for fixing my violin. With everything that happened so far, I really hope we can get along better.

~Ri In

As he stared at the note, a shy smile came on Junsu’s face. Maybe things between them could improve from now on.
