“Young Master… There is a lady here to see you.” The maid said.
{Who could it be?} Junsu wondered.

Junsu went down the stairway and saw a familiar figure standing there with her back facing him. As she heard Junsu coming down, she turned towards him and gave a light bow.
“You must be Junsu… Long time no see. Hope you are doing well.” The lady said.
“You are… Hee Bon’s mother?” Junsu asked and the lady nodded.
The lady identified as Hee Bon’s mother, Mrs. Park handed a book to Junsu. Junsu took it and glanced at the cover, there was a title put “Days with Junsu”.
“This is one of Hee Bon’s most prized possession. She told me if that day comes when she has to leave I were to hand this to you.”
“The day she has to leave?” Junsu questioned. It was like Mrs. Park knew something would happen to Hee Bon.
“Ah~ I guess she didn’t tell you. That silly girl… always thinking about others.”
Junsu saw Mrs. Park starting to get teary as she placed her hand to cover her mouth. Junsu placed his hand on her shoulder and she patted it gently before she spoke up again.
“I am okay… You will understand it all once you read this. I have to go now. Bye Junsu!”
“Take care Mrs. Park.”
Junsu gave a light hug to Mrs. Park before motioned the maid to lead Mrs. Park to the exit.
“I would like to be alone in my room. Not one is allowed to interrupt no matter what happens.” Junsu instructed the maid in his cold tone and went up to his room.

Junsu lay on his bed, taking in a breath before he prepares himself to flip through the pages of the book. The atmosphere around is so quiet with only the sound of his breath heard. He steadies himself as he flip to the first page and glanced at the content…
~Day 1 with Junsu,
This is my first entry – The day I finally spoke to him. I have always been watching him from afar, chatting happily with his gang of friends; giving his all in a mere friendly match of soccer in school; enjoying his meal in the canteen; I feel like I am a stalker… but I couldn’t get the courage to just say a Hi… Until I was drawn in by his singing.
The voice of an angel – something anyone would agree to. I didn’t know what had driven me to go in and spoke to him for the first time. As our eyes met, I could feel my faces burning up. He looks even more charming so close. I think I really see a bright glow behind him, a glow like an angel. From that moment I knew I couldn’t hold back anymore, I have fallen in love with Junsu - fallen for the angel. ~
Junsu flipped a few pages further, glancing through each of them recalling the moments they had together. Now he knows how much she cherish their relationship, as much as he does and maybe even more. He stopped at one entry and scanned through the content…
~Day 99 with Junsu,
Just one more day and it will be the 100th day we met each other. Today I went to Junsu house, taking study as an excuse but actually I just wanted to be with him, for every moment not being with him I would feel the unbearable loneliness, especially today as my parent are fighting and yelling to each other again. I really can’t take it anymore. They fight practically everyday, seeing them like this really hurts me inside. Why can’t they make up for the sake of their daughter? For my sake…
I was suppose to give Junsu the necklace tomorrow but I didn’t know what made me decides to give it to him today instead. I asked him if he remembered the day we met, when he was having trouble recalling it, I actually felt a little sad inside, for every moment with him will never leave my heart, mind or soul. ~
Junsu felt the aching in his heart. He thought he knew everything there is to know about her but it seems there are still things about her he never knew. She was hiding all those sorrow inside yet always carries a smile by her face when she sees him.
“Why didn’t you tell me about all these?” Junsu moaned.
He continued on a few entries, just glancing through the content as he flips the pages.
~Day 350 with Junsu,
Today Junsu and I did a duet in the music room. I played the violin and he played the piano. It makes me feel grateful that I learned to play the violin since young. The room filled with the lovely melody from our music instruments. It makes me forget all my troubles and misery.
Junsu is really innocent inside, just like a little kid. That makes me wanna protect his fragile heart, not letting him know of all that I have to suffer. I want everyday being with him are of happy memories. I can’t bear to see sadness in those eyes of his. ~
Tears begin to gather in Junsu’s eyes, waiting to flow out anytime now. He flipped till he reached the last entry, there was even an envelope attached to the entry. Junsu held the envelope with one hand and read the content of the last entry, there was some water stains on the page.
~Day 420 with Junsu,
Today I went to the hospital to do a checkup…. The doctor told me I got cancer and that I only have less than 6 months time to live. The tears in my eyes flow down uncontrollably. I didn’t want to die so soon, I don’t want to leave everything I have so far, especially the love of Junsu.
My mind was blank as I made my way back home. When I reached home I saw Junsu standing by the entrance of my house, smiling silly to himself as he stared at a box in his palm. I shake off the sad feeling inside of me and put a smile on my face before I approach him. When he saw me coming towards him, Junsu hid that box behind him. I asked him what is it but he insisted I will know a few days later, which will be my birthday.
Seeing Junsu smiles so brightly, I couldn’t bear to let him know the truth, cause I know if he does that smile on his face would not be the same again and he would definitely do all he can do find a cure for my illness. I rather we are able to spend the remains of my life like how we have always been. Let all the sorrow be buried in me. I wanna let him see, even till the day I have to leave him, the same smiling face he sees when the first day we met.~

Junsu’s hand was trembling; there was much he didn’t know about her. He felt the guilt in his heart increasing, he only knew of the carefree side of her, he never really understand what she had to suffer. Junsu remembered the envelope he still holding on his hand. This letter was directed to him since there was a word ‘Junsu’ on it. Junsu ripped open the envelope and took out the paper inside, reading Hee Bon’s first and even last letter to him…
~Dear Junsu,
If you are reading this, then I guess I have already left you. I am sure you will think how selfish I am, letting you know all these only after I left. But please know that all I did was to cherish the happy moments we had, and I had no regrets on my decision. I know if I let you know the truth, the days we had together will not be the same again.
If I really know you well, I am sure now you would have seal off your heart, so that I would forever be the only one in there and not let yourself suffer the same pain again. If you really did that, then I am very disappointed with you. I love you Junsu and I want what’s best for you. You can’t live with just the days of remembering me; you gotta accept that I am gone now. I am sure there is someone out there for you, waiting for you to love her, just as much as you had loved me. Even if you love someone else that doesn’t mean you have betray me, because I will forever live on there – by your heart. I know no matter what happens you won’t forget me right?
Please learn to love yourself and everyone around you well. Be the Junsu I once and always knew. That cheerful angel that always shines from the bottom of his heart. I believe in you Junsu. Take care!
Hee Bon~
Junsu crunched the letter in his hand. His body shivering and he fell down the bed, leaning his back on the wall. Tears rolling down uncontrollably; his heart is as dark as the sky outside.
“YYYAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!”
Junsu shouted and hits both his fist onto the floor.

Ri In was doing a little reading in her room. She stared out the window and saw grey cloud gathering, sounds of thunder could be heard. It was going to be a very stormy night.
Suddenly, Ri In thought she heard a loud scream nearby. She had a bad hunch inside.
{Junsu…}
Ri In rushed out her room and stopped outside Junsu’s room. She hesitated, didn’t know if she should interrupt him.
“Junsu… Are you there?” Ri In asked, giving a few knocks on the door, but there was no response. Getting worried, she turned the doorknob and the door opened. She slowly swings open the door and saw Junsu lying on the floor with both his hand covering his ear.
“JUNSU!!”
Ri In ran to his side to check on him.
“What… what are you… doing in here? Get… get out!” Junsu said. His face was getting pale but he still tried to use every ounce of strength left in him to push Ri In away.
Ri In watched as Junsu struggled to stand up. Lighting flashing in through the windows and the loud thunder sounds made Junsu’s condition worsens. He felt his headache consuming him and fell back down.
Ri In felt her chest aches seeing him like this. As Junsu tried to get up again, Ri In went forward and wraps her arms around him from behind.
“Ri In…”
“Please stop it! I am here to help… you just rest. Please…” Ri In said in a sinking voice, which slowly fades down to a whisper. She could feel his body trembling badly, so she just tightens her hold.
Junsu once again covers his ears with his hands, closing his eyes shut as the flash from the lighting and loud sounds of the thunder got worse.
Ri In leans Junsu against the side of the bed. She put her hands onto Junsu’s hands and Junsu somehow stop trembling. She leaned in closer so her mouth was just beside his ear and she started singing. It was that song… the song they sang together when they were young. The atmosphere seems quieter with melody of the songs flowing into him and Junsu was calmer now; his headache was slowly fading off as well. Junsu felt the tiredness coming in as he slowly fell asleep.

The ray of the sun shining down from the window blinds Junsu’e eyes as he slowly got up realizing it was already morning. He tries move but felt something pressing on his chest. Junsu looked down and saw Ri In resting her head on his chest. Feeling Junsu’s slight movement, Ri In too woke up and was rubbing her eyes. She looked up and her eyes were met with Junsu’s eyes. Ri In quickly moves away, pressing her cheeks with her hands as it was feeling hot. Junsu cleared his throat and Ri In shifted her attention back to him.
“Ah~ How are you feeling Junsu?”
“Much better… Thank you.” Junsu said, without looking at Ri In.
“There is something I wanna ask… Were you always like this every time there is a stormy night?” Ri In asked but Junsu just remained silent looking the other direction.
There was a moment of silent before Ri In stood up…
“Well… I guess I will be leaving now.” Ri In said, turning to the door but Junsu grabbed her hand and she halted, staring down at him.
“I have been like this ever since the night of Hee Bon’s death… I remembered that night we were having a conversation over the phone. She was making her way home from school; she stayed over late to do some extra revising. I offered to go pick her up but she insisted I don’t pamper her so much. That night was like yesterday… The lighting flashing constantly and the thunder getting louder and louder. I heard her screams through the phone, she was always afraid when it comes to weather like that but I wasn’t by her side. She assure me that everything is fine… she was just slightly afraid and that hearing my voice then have made her feel more safe. I told her I could be over shortly and that it was no trouble but she said she was close to reaching home and that she would give me a call once she reached home. So I hung up the phone… I never knew that would be the last time I could talk to her ever again…”
Junsu’s grip on Ri In’s hand tightens as he lowers his head; the tears flow down again.
“It was getting very late but I still waited for her to call. My heart thumping fast and I have a bad feeling that something was about to happen. I couldn’t stand my worries anymore so I headed to the door about to go out when I saw my mom standing in front of me when I opened the door… My mother told me Hee Bon was involved in an accident. A car was driving recklessly under the rain and hit Hee Bon. I rushed to the hospital as soon as I can but it was useless. I saw her lying there, motionless… no matter how much I shook her… no matter how loud I called her… she is dead… gone forever…”
Junsu loosen his grip and covers his face with his hands. Ri In kneeled down beside him and placed her hand on his shoulder.
“I miss her so much…” Junsu moaned.
