Junsu was taking a short nap when one of his classmates shook him and he wakes up. It has been almost 3 months since Ri In left. Things have somehow reverted back to the state before Ri In came; the seat in front of Junsu continued to be empty. One thing has changed though… that is Junsu isn’t as cold as he used to be anymore.
“Junsu, you dropped something?” Junsu rubs his eyes and follows his eyesight towards the direction his classmate was pointing.
“Oh thanks!” He picks up the thing he dropped and placed it on the table. It was the butterfly Chinese knot. Junsu brushed off the dust and stares at it. This butterfly knot has been by Junsu’s side ever since Ri In left, giving him hope that someday… it will be united with the other butterfly knot.
Junsu placed the butterfly knot into his pocket and stands up from his seat, making his way out of the classroom and towards the music room.
As Junsu makes his way to the music room, people around were chatting happily with each other. Somehow he never noticed all this… only till now. He let out a smile to his face, placing both his hands in his pant’s pockets.

Junsu reached the music room, stopping outside for a while before taking slow steps in. He glanced at the surrounding and memories with Ri In inside here fills his mind.
Junsu walks over to the piano and caress its shiny surface. He then sat down by the chair and starts laying his finger on the piano keys.
[Song played: Beautiful Thing by Xiah Junsu]
He starts playing the piano to a song and lets the melody flows around him as he starts singing. No one was around except them. The window was open with only the cool breeze blowing in. Memories of Ri In repeatedly played in his mind. Junsu lets himself sing freely, just enjoying the moment.
[Song end]
Junsu played till the end of the song, letting out a sigh of satisfaction as he caresses the key one last time before he stood up straight.
“Junsu!”
[Song played: Hello Again by DBSK]
Junsu turns towards the door and saw Yunho standing there breathing in short gasps and was sweating.
“Junsu… you got to follow me… now!” Yunho said under his breath.
Junsu just looked at him in a questioning look. What is so important that made Yunho rushed all the way here to find him?

Junsu follows Yunho back to his classroom and saw a crowd gathered outside his classroom.
{What’s going on?} Junsu wondered.
Yunho straightens himself before pushing in through the crowd, making way for Junsu to get through. As the crowd of people slowly dismissed, Junsu saw that Yoona was hugging someone. He scrunched his eyebrows together trying to figure out who is this person Yoona is hugging.
{Could it be…?}
Junsu took slow steps closer towards them. Yoona saw Junsu approaching and separated from the hug, staring at Junsu and backs off a little. As Junsu stops just nicely behind her, the figure turns to face him and Junsu’s eyes widened when he saw who it was.
“Anyeong Junsu…” Ri In said.
There was a moment of silence as the two gazes into each other’s eyes. Ri In was standing just in front of him. He finally waited till the day. Junsu still doubts whether this is all a dream.
“When… when did you came back?” Junsu finally spoke up, breaking the silent atmosphere.
“Just today…” Ri In answered.
“Will you be staying?”
“Actually… I came back for a purpose…”
Junsu saw Ri In’s gaze left his as she was hesitating to continue.
“I came back to meet my fiancé.” Ri In said, staring into Junsu’s eyes as his eyes widened after what was heard. Fiancé? Since when does she have a fiancé? What kind of person is she engaged to?
Junsu didn’t think any further and just grabs Ri In’s hand, dragging her off.
“Yah Junsu!”
Yoona wanted to go forward to stop Junsu but Yoochun held onto her, which made her halted and switches her attention to him.
“I am sure Junsu knows what he is doing… Let’s not interfere in this.” Yoochun said. Yoona uttered a sigh and just nodded, hoping Junsu doesn’t do any rash.
[Song end]

Junsu took her to the one place he knew they would be alone – the music room. Junsu drags her in and locks the door as they entered. Ri In stares as Junsu back was still facing him, she could feel the rage of emotion within him.
“Who are you getting engaged to?” Junsu asked in a serious tone; his back still facing her.
“I… I don’t know.” Ri In answered.
“What do you mean you don’t know?” This time Junsu’s voice was raised slightly yet with the same cold tone.
“I met him before but it was a very long time ago. I am not really sure what kind of person he is now.” Ri In explained.
“HOW CAN YOU MARRY SOMEONE YOU HARDLY EVEN KNOW?!” Junsu gave a hard bang on the door before turning himself to face Ri In.
Ri In was beginning to feel her body shiver from the way Junsu is acting, the same chill she felt that time Junsu cornered her. As Junsu slowly approaches her, she tries moving backward, only to stop when her back has already reached the wall. Junsu was just standing inches from her and she could see the rage in his eyes.
“One thing I learned through the years living with my mom… that is to never question her decision…” Ri In said with her voice sounding a little shaky, looking him straight in the eyes. Her mother decision was the one that lead her to meet Junsu, and it is now the one that is forcing her to separate from him.
“Ri In… Do you know how hard I waited for this moment…” Ri In saw the rage in Junsu’s eyes slowly disappearing… turning into a sad one.
“I missed my chance 3 months ago and I am not going to make myself regret by releasing it again this time…” Ri In saw how intense Junsu’s stare was on her.
“I love you Ri In… I love you to the extent I could not control my feelings, praying each day for the moment I will have you with me again…” Junsu finally said it; after holding it in for so long, he finally had the chance to express his feelings to Ri In.
“Junsu…” Ri In stretches her hands towards him and pushes him a little further from her.
“It is too late now…” She said, turning away not looking at him.
Junsu suddenly pulls her into his embrace causing their eyes to lock hold onto each other.; she was so close to him she could feel his heartbeat.
“It is never too late… I know you have the same feelings towards me. Why can’t we be together when we love each other?!”
“I love you Junsu… but I would not go against my mother’s decision.”
Junsu tightens his hold on her as she struggles to break free.
“Junsu… please… let me go… this all has been just a… wonderful dream. It is time to move on.”
A Dream? Junsu never thought he would hear her say that. Somehow Junsu lost the strength to hold on as he releases his grip and his head lowered slightly. Ri In placed her hand on Junsu’s right cheek, which cause his attention to be turned to her.
“I am sorry…”
“I don’t need your sorry…” Junsu said coldly, then turns away to leave.
When Junsu was nowhere in sight, a drop of tears fell down Ri In’s face. She never thought she would have to say those words to him. All she ever wanted was to hear Junsu confess his love to her and now she has to let him go.
Ri In walks forward, about to leave the music room when she felt something beneath her feet. She removes her leg and saw something awfully familiar on the floor. Ri In picks it up, patting it lightly to remove the dust and saw it was a butterfly Chinese knot decoration. It wasn’t just butterfly knot… it was one of the pair she made back then.
Ri In could not restrain her emotion as she covers her mouth with her hand while staring at the butterfly knot.
{Junsu… Junsu was that boy?!}
