“Why?” Shan Cai asks her
“Ximen and I are going to Canada tomorrow”
“You’re going on a second honeymoon?!” Shan Cai shrieked “That’s so sweet!!”
“No Shan Cai. We’ll talk to my parents.”
“Ohhhhhh…..” Shan Cai starts to get nervous “Are you really sure that you’re now ready to talk to them? You’re not afraid of your father?”
“Of course I’m afraid. Who wouldn’t be? I’m sure that my parents will be shock on what I am going to tell them.”
“But of course you’re not afraid because Ximen’s by your side” Shan Cai teased her.
“Shan Cai!”
“Oh come on! I’m sure that you’re really happy now that everything’s fine between the two of you”
“Of course I’m happy” Xiao You smiled “Shan Cai I have to go now. I have to pack my things for the trip”
“Okay. Don’t worry I’ll take good care of the day care but be sure that when you come back you’ll have a present for us”
“Thanks Shan Cai. I’ll buy some gift for the rest of the gang”
“I don’t mean that! I mean…a……B..A..B..Y….”
“Shan Cai stop teasing me!” Xiao You blushed at what her best friend told her.
“I’m not teasing you. Just be sure that when you come back here you’re already carrying a baby”
“Shan Cai” she said but Shan Cai already cut their conversation. “Hello? Hello?” Xiao You sighed and drops the phone on the tale.
“Hey why are you looking like that?” Ximen entered the living room with a glass of whisky on his hand.
Xiao You turned around and faces Ximen. She saw that he’s drinking again so she went to him and grab the glass of whisky from his hand.
“Hey! Why did you do that?” Ximen whined.” Give me back my drink”
“You know that this is a no, no for you” she told her husband, Preventing him from getting the glass back.
“But I haven’t drank any liquors since I was hospitalized”
“Really? I saw you drinking 3 days ago” she raised a brow on him.
“Okay! I’m guilty” Ximen raised his hands on the air.
Xiao You put the glass on the table “I’ll be going now. I have to pack my things” she told him and starts to walk.
“Xiao You where are you going?” Ximen asks her
Xiao You turns her head at him “To my room” she pointed.
“That’s not your room” Ximen went o her side and holds her hands
“Huh? But this is the way to my room”
“You’ll now be staying at OUR room” Ximen told her and led her to his room that’s now officially their room.
“I’ll be staying here? But I haven’t moved my things so I will go to my room now” Xiao You went to a different direction but Ximen pulled her back.
“I have asked butler Xue to transfer your things here” Ximen opened the door and led her inside.
Ximen and Xiao You entered the room. Xiao You studied the room. “There are some changes in it” Xiao You told herself. The table beside the bed bears a picture frame that contains Ximen and Xiao You’s picture that was taken on their wedding. Everything was neat and in order.
“Come here” Ximen called her.
Ximen opened the closet and Xiao You saw all of her things inside it.
“You’re really fast Ximen. I mean you maids are really fast on transferring my things here” she told him. Ximen smiled at her.
“You know me. I want things to be fast” he winked at her “I have another surprise for you” he pulled her back to the bed and he opened the drawer and got something from it.
In his hands he holds a white velvet box with a pink ribbon. He went to Xiao You and handed her the box.
“Open it” Xiao You looks at Ximen.
Xiao You untied the ribbon that’s around the box and slowly opened the box. Her eyes sparkle at what she saw. There inside the box is a sliver ring with diamonds all over it. Xiao You can’t believe that Ximen’s giving her this.
“This is really for me?” she asks him. She was really amazed of the ring.
“Of course that’s for you. Who else would I give that ring to?”
“You could have given this to one of your meimeis” Xiao You told Ximen. She’s trying to tease Ximen and she looks back at the ring.
“Why would I give them that?”
“Because you love being with them”
“For your information I don’t have a meimei” Xiemn crosses his arms “……Hey! Your playing with me aren’t you?”
“No…why would I……”
Xiao You didn’t have the chance to continue what she was about to say because Ximen already had kissed her full on the lips. After 2 minutes of lip-locking and tongue dwelling kiss Ximen decided to stop their kiss.
“You’re now having a habit of kissing me without my permission” Xiao You pouted at him.
“But you like it, don’t you?” Ximen starts to wiggle his brows. Ximen took the ring from the box and holds Xiao You’s right hand.
“I know I haven’t been the perfect husband that you’ve wanted me to be and I know that I’ve hurt you….” Ximen looks at her eyes “….but now I realized that I cant live without you. I don’t want to hurt you anymore and I promise to be loyal to you. I’ll try to be the perfect husband that you want me to be. So as I sign of my love and promise to you I’m giving you this ring” and Ximen slowly slides the ring to Xiao You’s ring finger.
Xiao You’s now teary eyed. She can’t believe that Ximen could be this sweet to her.
“Hey why are you crying?” Ximen asks her as he wipes the tears from her eyes.
“I’m just happy Ximen. You don’t need to promise me anything and you don’t need to give me this ring….because…I’m already contented with the love that you’re now giving me” she hugged him and cried.
“I love you Xiao You….” he whispered in her ears.
