“Ximen, we have to go back home now. You’ll be late for your work and I have to go to the day care” she softly uttered.
“Ximen…” she continues to shake his body.
Ximen turned his body towards Xiao You “If you want to go to the day care, then go! I’m not stopping…. I don’t even want to go to the office today. My head hurts so I’ll just go home later” he irritably told Xiao You then went back to sleep.
Xiao You looks at Ximen “Maybe he’s just not feeling well” she thought not wanting to make it a big issue. She just decided to go out of the bed and got her bag then went downstairs. There she saw her mother-in-law reading a magazine.
“Good morning” Xiao You cheerfully greeted her.
Ximen’s mother stands up and went beside Xiao You “How’s your sleep? Do you feel comfortable in staying here?” she ask
“Of course”
Then Ximen’s mother saw Xiao You carrying her bag. “You’re going to leave already? Where’s Ximen” She ask her and tried to look for her son’s presence.
“I have to go now, have to change my clothes and go to the day care”
“And where’s Ximen? Is he coming down already?”
“Ximen told me that he won’t be going to the office because he’s not feeling well” Xiao You said.
“He’s not going to send you home?” Mrs. Ximen’s forehead creased “Is he still in the room? I’ll talk to him and ask him to send you home first”
“No Ma!” Xiao You protested “Just let Ximen rest. He needs it and I know he’s been exhausted with those business deals that he had so I won’t force him to send me home. Don’t worry I can take care of my self. I’ll just take a cab”
Mrs. Ximen shook her head “You wont take the cab….I’ll ask the driver to take you home because it’s safer and I’ll know that you’re in good hands” she told her and starts to call the driver.

When Ximen heard the door closed he instantly stand up from the bed and picks his mobile that is lying on the table beside the bed. when he got his phone on his hand he took out a small piece of paper on his pants and dialed the number written on the small piece of paper then he waits for the person to answer.
+FLASHBACK+
“Ximen?” his father starts to tap his shoulder “Are you okay?” he continues to ask him.
Ximen was surprised to know that Xiao Gen’s already back. He can’t decide on what he’ll do now.
“Ximen?” his father called for his attention again and this time he responded to him.
“I want to see her” He suddenly told his father.
His father looked at him with a confuse look “Are you sure? What are you going to tell her?”
“I just want to see her again….it’s been ages since I last saw her. Do you have her number?” he asks.
“I don’t have it but I have her number in their house” he told Ximen then got a piece of paper and starts to write Xiao Gen’s land line number. “Here” he handed Ximen the paper.
Ximen took it and put it inside his pocket “I think I have to go now. I need some sleep” he told his father and starts to stand up and leave the bar.
+END OF FLASHBACK+
Ximen waited for a couple of rings and then someone answered the phone “Luo residence” the maid answered.
Ximen gulp “Is Xiao Gen there?” he asks the maid.
“May I know who this is?”
“Tell her that it’s Ximen….Ximen Zhong Er Lang” said Ximen.
“Oh master Ximen! Wait I’ll just call her” the maid told him and Ximen waited.
After a while someone answered again. It’s the voice that Ximen’s been waiting to hear for the couple of years. How he missed her voice.
“Hello?” she answered
Ximen breaths heavily before answering Xioa Gen “Hello….” He stamers.
“Ximen?!” Xiao Gen said in delight “Ximen…..are you Ximen?!”
“Yes, it’s me” he said softly.
“I missed you Ximen!!!” Xiao Gen starts to shriek.
“I missed you too Xiao Gen…..” Ximen replied.

Xiao You’s sitting inside her office and just staring blankly at the window. She’s not in the mood to talk or to mingle with the kids today. She’s not in her self and Shan Cai noticed this as soon as she entered the day care.
“Xiao You?” Shan Cai peeked inside the room and when she saw Xiao you awake she let herself inside and went in front of Xiao You’s desk.
“Are you okay? Are you sick? Do you feel anything?’ Shan CAi starts to bombard her with questions.
Xiao You closed her eyes and leaned back on her chair “I’m okay Shna CAi, don’t worry” she muttered.
“Are you sure?” Shan Cai asks with a worried tone.
Xiao You nodded and opened her eyes to look at Shan CAi.
“You don’t look like you’re okay?” she said
“I’m really fine. It’s just that…….” Xiao Said but stopped
Shan Cai looked at her and said “It’s just that?”
“Nothing!” Xiao You said as she looks back at the window.
Then something came up on Shan Cai’s head “Is it about Ximen? Did you two have a fight?”
“No…..Just forget about it!” Xiao said trying to divert Shan Cai’s attention. “I’m going to play with the kids now” she said trying to look happy.
When she was about to leave the room Shan Cai took hold of her arm “ Tell me if you two are having problems…..maybe I can help” she whispered.
Xiao You nodded at her and left the room.
