He walks over the door and when he flung it open there he saw his supposedly son-in-law standing outside.
“What are you doing in here?” he asks him.
Ximen was first taken a back when he saw Xiao You’s father. He already wanted to turn around and leave when he saw his angry eyes staring back at him.
“Sir..I…Xiao You…can I…talk….talk to her” Ximen said his voice’s a little shaky than usual.
“You can’t” he immediately replied.
“But sir…..my…she’s my wife” Ximen tried to convince him.
“Wife?” he mocks him. “Are you trying to make us believe that she’s your wife. She already told us what happened. You’re marriage is a sham and so that makes her not your wife anymore” he said as he roughly push him back.
“I need to talk to her” Ximen said as he pushes himself inside the house.
“Xiao You!!!!” he starts to scream as soon as he got inside. Xiao You’s mother was went out of the kitchen when she heard his husband arguing with another man. When she went out she saw Ximen shouting and pacing inside the house trying to find Xiao You.
“Ximen!” she shouted.
Ximen looks at her, his pleading to he rto tell him where Xiao You is.
“Where’s Xiao You?” he ask her but Xiao You’s mother didn’t say anything.
Xiao You’s father immediately grbbed Ximen’s shoulder preventing him to move any further. When Xiao You’s father grabbed Ximen his wife hurriedly went up to get Xiao You and informed her that Ximen’s downstairs.

After reviewing for her exams Xiao You took off her eyeglasses and rubbed her eyes. She’s already exhausted form all those studying that she did. She lay back at her bed and stared at the ceiling. For once she had forgotten about Ximen. Life’s been better without him. No more pain, heartbreaks and especially no more lies.
The door suddenly flung open and Xiao You looked at the person who entered her room. She pushed herself to sit up straight and looks at her mother.
“What’s the problem?” she asks her.
“Your Hus….I mean Ximen’s downstairs, he wants to talk to you” she said
Xiao You at first didn’t say a thing about it. She was frozen when her mother mentioned Ximen’s name.
“Xiao You, what are you going to do?” Xiao You’s mother woke her up from her reverie.
She shook her head and went to one side of her room. “Ma, please….I don’t want to see him” she told her as she hugged he rself.
Her mother went to her side and touched her shoulder. “Are you sure?” she ask her again.
“Yes”
“Then…..your father will take care of him”

“What do you ne4ed form my daughter? From the very first time that I saw you I already didn’t like you” he told Ximen as he tighten hi gripped to him.
Ximen tried to get away form him but he can’t because he’s holding him really tight.
Ximen surrendered and didn’t move anymore “I just want to talk to her” he said.
“Why wont you let me?” he bowd his head down.
Xiao You’s father released him and went in fornt of Ximen. “You’ve done enough damage on my daughters’ life. She hsd enough of you” he told him.
“I know why you want to see her. Wait here” he said and assended towards the stairs.

Xiao You’s already crying while her mother’s trying to calm her.
“Just give him another chance” her mother told Xiao You
Xiao You looks up to her while tears are gushing off form her eyes. “Chance? He already had his chance ma…. I already gave it to him”
“But he looks desperate….he really wants to talk to you… just try to talk to him Xiao You” she said as she took some strands of hair form her face.
Xiao You shook her head. “No! I don’t want to see him…I don’t even want to hear his voice anymore….it hurts me when I rememeber him” then the ring on he rbracelet caught her eyes. She looks at it and clasped it to her palm.
Her mother saw this “You still love him, Xiao You. You’re just afraid to try it again” she told her.
Again she looks at her mother. She’s afraid to love him back for if that day comes when he’ll do that to her again, she wouldn’t know what she’ll do. She’ll not take it anymore when he leaves her again.
“Just try to talk to him” said her mother.
Xiao You thinks for a moment and when she was about to stand up her father went inside the room and strides his way towards her.
He grabs her arm and saw the bracelet. Xiao You looks at him with a confused look. He instantly snatched the bracelet form her wrist and went downstairs.

Ximen saw Xiao You’s father getting down form the stairs. He thought that he’ll get Xiao You but he was wrong. He went down alone, without his Xiao You.
Xiao You’s father looks sternly at him and threw something at him. “Here’s the ring……you already got it so you can now leave”
Ximen was stunned on what Xiao you’s father did. He saw the ring lying on the floor and bend down to pick it up. He holds it to his palm and looks back at Xioa You’s father.
“I didn’t…..” he tried to speak but Xiao you’s father cut him.
“Leave now…you already got what you wanted form my daughter. Don’t bother our lives anymore….dont disturb my daughters life” he shouted at him.
“But I didn’t want this….” he looks at the ring “….. I…I want your daughter back….I want Xiao you…not this ring!” he answered back.
*****
Xiao You holds her wrist. It was bleeding, but she didn’t felt it. she was more concer4ed of her ring than her bleeding wrist. Her mother wen to her side and saw that it was bleeding.
“Your wrist is bleeding” she said and then turned around to get her a towel but when she went back to Xiao You, she’s not anymore there and saw the door open.

Xiao You’s father went forward to Ximen, he was about to push him outside when he heard someone call him.
“Pa….” Said Xiao You, who’s looking at the two men.
“Xiao You…” Ximen softly uttered her name as soon as he saw her form standing on the stairs.
