My mind was drifting that I didn’t noticed that I bumped with someone.
“Wahhhhh……”
“I’m sorry” I didn’t notice that I bumped with a little girl and she keeps on crying.
I carried her and tried to stop her from howling. A woman in her late 20’s approached us and took the little girl from my arms.
“Is she your daughter?” I asked her.
“Yes, are you alright baby?”
“I’m really sorry. I didn’t noticed that I bumped her and then she cried”
“That’s alright”
“By the way the name’s Ellisa” she extended her hand and I gratefully took it.
“Xiao You” I told her and then gave her a smile. “What’s your name little girl?” I asked her daughter as I shook her little hands.
“She’s Julia” she told me “Stop crying now Julia”
“Ok. I’ll treat you an ice cream if you’ll stop crying” the girl stopped crying
“Ice cream?”
“You don’t have to do that” said Ellisa.
“I want an ice cream!” The little girl demanded
“No, let me. I made your daughter cry so as a way of saying sorry to her I’ll treat her for an ice cream”
We went to the nearest ice cream parlor and ordered some ice cream. I volunteered to feed Julia because I really have this thing for kids.
“Are you here for a vacation? It seems that you’re alone.”
I stopped feeding Julia and faced her.
“Ummm….. believe it or not I’m here for my honeymoon.”
“How old are you? You’re too young to get married”
“I’m already 22”
“22?! You’re young to have a husband. I got married when I was 26 and now I’m 29”
“By the way where’s your husband? Maybe we should go. Your husband might get worried if you stay too long away from him” she winked at me.
“It’s alright. I told him that I’ll be out here. Probably he’s still sleeping back at our room”
“Sleeping?! Are you sure that you two got married?” she asked me, obviously curious on what’s happening.
“ummmmm….”
“Ok. I won’t force you anymore”
“We’re here for a vacation. Julia wanted to go here so here we are having our mother and daughter bonding”
Julia went back to her mother and sit on her lap. She cuddled and whispered some things to her mother. I just wish that I’ll have someone like Julia. I’d be happy if Ximen would give me a child.
After eating we agreed to explore more of the resort. Julia’s already tired and she wanted to sleep already so we decided to end the day. We exchange phone numbers so that if we need someone to talk to we’ll just call each other.

After sending them off I didn’t go to my room yet. I wanted to be alone for some time so I decided to go to the sand and sit there drifting off again.
“It’s getting dark already I might as well get back to our room” I stood up getting ready to leave. One day without Ximen is not bad at all. I met new friends and I had fun being with them. I told my self. As I was walking back to our hotel I heard a rustling sound coming from the bushes. Out of curiosity I looked into the bushes and what really shocked me is that the man that’s been flirting and doing profane things is my HUSBAND! I can’t believe this! How could he do this to me?!
“XIMEN!?” I shouted at him making them agitated.
“XIAO YOU!”
I can’t take it any longer so I step back and went inside our room.
I locked the door and cried. If he doesn’t want me he can just tell it to my face and not hurt me like this. I expected him to come running after me but I didn’t hear any footsteps nor his voice begging for me to forgive him.
I heard my phone ring I thought that it was Ximen but It was only Shan Cai. Before answering the call I calmed myself for I don’t want to let other people know that I’m crying not especially Shan Cai.
“Who’s this?”
“How’s the honeymoon” I heard her chuckle
“Shan Cai I cant talk right now”
“Ok, ok I just want to say Hi to my dear best friend. Where’s Ximen?”
If I tell her that I just saw him flirting with another girl I’m sure that in less than an hour she’ll be here and pulling Ximen’s hair.
“He’s sleeping. Shan Cai I’ll just call you tomorrow ok?”
“Ok. I won’t disturbed you’re precious time princess. Go and be with you prince!”
If you only knew Shan Cai what’s been happening here I’m sure you’ll regret forcing me to be with Ximen.
After ending my conversation with Shan Cai I fixed my things and prepared myself to leave.
I arrived on the mansion and went straight to bed. He didn’t even bother to call me and say sorry. Is he really that mean? I now realized that it’s hard to fall in love because in the end you’ll fall really hard.
