Feila went to her baby brother and starts to hold his tiny hands. “Wait here. Mama’s just preparing for the food” she said a s she play with him.
“Feila, watch your brother for me okay?” Xiao You said while she prepares for the food.
“Mama, is grandma Lita coming over?” Feila ask her.
“Yes dear. She told me that she’ll come here this afternoon to celebrate Alex’s birthday” Xiao You answered.
After a while Xiao You had already finished cooking and went to the living room to check her kids. A small smiled curved on her lips as she went inside. There she saw her two angels sprawled on the floor and are already taking their nap. Good thing there’s a carpet or else they’ll get sick. Xiao You slowly walks towards her kids so that she wouldn’t wake them up.
She went beside them and kissed them both on their cheeks. It’s been 5 long years since they got here in France. She can’t deny that she misses her family back in Canada and she also miss living back in Taipei but what can she do? They have to leave Taipei so that no one can break her and Ximen apart.
Her thought were disturbed when her phone starts to ring. Alex slowly woke form his slumber so Xiao You picks him up first then went to answer the phone.
“Hello?”
“Xiao You, I’ll be late I have something to do here in the office. I promise that I’ll be there as soon as I got out from here” Xiemn said.
“Don’t worry its okay” she said.
“How are the kids?” he ask her like a loving father.
“Alex just woke and Feila’s still sleeping”
Ximen smiled “Kiss them for me”
“Okay, hey you should go back to work so that you’ll already finish what you’re doing”
“Okay okay…. Bye! I love you” he said and put the phone down.
After her conversation with Ximen, Xiao You decided to make Alex his formula and feed him. They stayed on the couch and until Alex was in dream land once again. She put him down beside Feila and when she was going back to the kitchen to get something someone knocks on the door.

She’s fidgeting and doesn’t know what she’ll do and what she’ll say the moment she sees them. Many things are running through her mind. Would they let her in or will her son accept her. She breathes heavily before knocking on the door

Xiao You fixes herself first before opening the door “Maybe this is Lita” she thought as she turn the knob to open the door.
She stops moving as she saw who her visitor is.
“Xiao You……”
“Mrs. Ximen” shock was evident on her voice.
They stayed like that for a couple of minutes then Xiao You recovers from her shock and let Mrs. Ximen inside “Umm… Co…Come in” she stammer as she let her inside
Mrs. Ximen walks inside and then stops when she saw Feila and Alex sleeping on the floor. “Are they my grandchildren?” she asks Xiao You.
Xiao You went behind her and nods her head “Yes…..” she replied.
She walks beside her grandchildren and took a seat beside them “They have grown so fast” she said. “The last pictures that I’ve seen Feila and Alex were still so small” she smiled.
“Pictures?” said Xiao You.
She looks back at Xiao You “I ask Shan Cai to show me the pictures of them. When I found out that they had visited you here I immediately called her and ask her if she has any pictures of you, Ximen and the children. Hope you’ll not get angry with Shan Cai” she told her.
Xiao you shook her head “I’m not. You have the right to see your grandchildren anyway” she said.
“Thank You” Mrs. Ximen replied then looks back at her grandchildren
“She’s pretty” she said as she looks at Feila then averted her gaze towards Alex “He looks like his father” she starts to smile.
“Have you ever thought of going back to Taiwan?” she said all of a sudden.
