Chapter 12

Smells like us.

“What’s wrong with being a vampire?” a voice from behind suddenly confronted Donghae.
It was the Prince.
“We want to live in peace too, you know. Humans are always after us, simply because we’re different. There’s nothing wrong with being different.” he continued.
“Nothing wrong? You've got to be kidding me, killing innocent people is right?” said Donghae.
“People kill people too you know. We’re just doing people a favor and not let blood go to waste.”
“Yeah, blood just goes to waste because humans are just using to live.” he commented rhetorically.
“You really get on my nerves you know.” the Prince said. “That's probably why she bit you.”
With his final words, he left the prison.

“Yoona, great news, they found the palace.” Senior Lee said.
“When are they going to rescue him?” she asked.
“I’m afraid they can’t. The mission is way too dangerous. The palace is protected by the strongest vampires of its kind.” Replied Senior Lee.
“If no one will save him, he’ll die.” She said. “Then let me take a risk, she said.
“You? Yoona, you haven’t even received physical training yet, how are you supposed to save him?” he said.
“I don’t care.” She said.
Within seconds she ran out the agency.

As soon as she was outside of the palace, the Prince spotted Yoona.

Grabbing her by the arm, he lead her to the prison.
“What..What are you doing? Let go.” Yoona yelled out.
There was Donghae who was weak and pale, sitting there all by himself.
“I'll be right back” the Prince said.
“Yoona!” Donghae noticed. “What are you doing here? What have they done to you?”
“Nothing” she replied. “Lets get out of here.
“I’m bitten.” He said. “I’ll turn into a vicious vampire.”
The Prince suddenly returned.
“There you go again, stereotyping us vampires” He said.

“Leave us alone.” Said Yoona
“I would, but you Enchanted Guardians won't” The Prince then called out, “Come out here, stop hiding”
Along came Jessica, her eyes were filled with anger.
“He’s going to turn into a vampire. You can’t have him.” Said Jessica.
“You did this to him?” asked Yoona. “Why?”
“This way you can't be with him.” Replied Jessica.

The Prince, out of nowhere, went over to Yoona, and sniffed her.
“You’re only human”, he said while he continue sniffing, “but why do you smell like one of us?”
“What are you doing?” she said, while pushing him away. “You are so weird”

Prince’s POV: That’s weird. This girl seems to have very strong powers, as if it is as strong as mine. This can’t be, she’s only a human female. Should I let her go?
