Chapter 13

Please Don't Cry, Sad Goodbye.

Seconds later, the Prince decided to kill Donghae. He was annoyed by the fact that two girls was fighting for a guy who stereotypes vampires.
The Prince easily grabbed Donghae's body and lifted him up in the air.
“You wish to become a vampire?” the Prince asked.
“No, never!” said Donghae.
“Then I’ll kill you, stopping you from becoming an embarrassment of our kind.” He said.
“You can’t kill him!” cried Yoona and Jessica.
“I can, and I will,” he said, and with those words, he started to drink the rest of Donghae’s Blood.
Jessica and Yoona both tried to stop the Prince from killing him, but they were kept busy by the prison guards.
That was it. It took only seconds until Donghae’s body became motionless Yoona was too sad to even be angry with the Prince.

“He only has a few minutes left,” the Prince said. “You can have him,” Pointing to Yoona.
“I don't know if I should thank you or try to kill you.” she said.
“Thank me, I resolved the stupid love triangle you three have been struggling with” he said.
Jessica attempted to attack the Prince. She just wasn’t strong enough, and failed.
The Prince grabbed Jessica and headed outside. Donghae slowly opened his eyes and showing tiny movements. Yoona sat next to him. He rested his head on her shoulders.
“I'm almost dead?” he said.
Yoona's tears rolled down her cheeks.
“I know I only have minutes left on this world anyhow. Let’s not waste time.” He breathed.
He looked at her as she continued to cry.
“Please stop crying, it was my choice, I don’t want to be a vampire.” He continued.
She tried to hold her tears back.
“I read your note,” she said.
“The one I left on my desk?” he asked.
“Yeah,” she nodded. “You’ll always be the greatest friend I’d ever had.” She said.
“Have you ever considered me to become something more than just a friend?” He asked.
“Yes I had.” She answered.
“I’m happy to hear you say that, but is it truly what you mean, or you just said it because you pity me?”
“I truly meant it.” She said as he extended her arms to hold his hand.
Donghae took all the strength that he had to reach into his pockets. He pulled out a silver and flower-shaped hairpin with light pink, blue, and green jewels. After placing it in her hand, he manged to murmur one last sentence.
“Don't forget me,” he said.

The Prince came back inside. “It seems like he's gone.” he stated.
Yoona sad there as she continued to cry her heart out.
“You can go.” he said. “However, you must leave his body here.”
“Why?” she cried.
“His body will disappear in the sunlight.” he said.
The Prince realized that she wouldn't be able to go back so he knocked her unconscious and took her home.
A few hours later, Yoona woke up with Senior Lee by her side.
“You all right?” he asked. “I can't believe you laid there in front of your house like that. What happened?”

Yoona's POV: My father, my mother, my aunt, my uncle, Jessica, and my beloved friend. These are the people I care about the most. I promise to seek for their revenge.

A/N: Aaaah!!! I killed the sweet Donghae in the final chapter. I'm sorry to those of you who wanted them to be together. I just had to have his character gone though. If ya want, in the future I'll write a different fanfic especially dedicated to Yoona and Donghae. Please don't be mad at me. I feel sad for his death too, ya know.

Yoona_fan-I'm sorry for having Donghae die. Although I do agree, that if he becomes a vampire, that he'll be the hottest! hehe. :D Well the story doesn't end here, he won't be in the story, but there will be new characters who will come into her life.
mickeyyyxD- yup, I decided to end this early, as this is truly only a beginning, hence the subtitle of the story. "Rise of Vengeance" hope you'll continue to rease Poise.
