Chapter 2

Sleep on it.

“So what are we going to do now?” asked Jessica as she began to panic.
“We should return home and tell your parents. Maybe they’ll know what to do.” Donghae suggested.
Even though he was quite worried about Yoona, he knew there was nothing that was able to do. He looked up at the orange sky with the fading sun and wished for Yoona’s safety.
“We have to hurry, it is getting late. There is only 10 minutes left before the sun sets” Jessica emphasized.

“How is she?” asked Junsu asked as he took off his mask.
“I don’t know how to explain this, but she seems fine,” replied Senior Lee.
He was astonished by the fact that Yoona’s body was absolutely normal even though she took part in the explosion.
“Junsu, hurry and go report this to the Grand Master” demanded Senior Lee.
Yoona awoke from her unconsciousness. “Am---Am I dead?” asked Yoona asked as she was confused about the entire situation.
“No, you are not dead,” replied Senior Lee.
“Then where am I?” Yoona asked.
“This is the Poise agency, to be more specific this is the Poise agency of the West” he replied.
“Poise?” she exclaimed. “The agency that protects the humans from the vicious vampires?”
Junsu secretly whispered something to Senior Lee's ear.
“Im Yoona, right?” he called out. “Would you like to become one of the trainees of our agency?”
“You mean, I can become an Enchanted Guardian to protect the Earth?” she questioned.
“Well...eventually, that is if you have the capabilities to become one. You’ll have to go through training first, and if you can exceed expectations, there might be a possibility that you can become one by the time you get out of high school. I mean there’s someone who has done this before” he explained.
“Whoa, exceeded expectations, who can do that?” Yoona started to think.
“Well he did” Senior Lee added as he pointed to Junsu. “He’s about the same age as you. He’s already an Enchanted Guardian, too bad this is his last day as he will be relocated to the Southern agency, otherwise he could help train you”
“Wait, how did you know my name?” she asked.
Senior Lee looked down and pointed over to her school bag that was imprinted with her name.
“How about this, you give me an answer by tomorrow, all right?” he said. “One more thing, do not let anyone know about this, absolutely no one.”
