Chapter 7

Run...

That day, Jessica decided to act like nothing has happened. She does not even dare to look at her right shoulder. After school, Yoona asked Donghae to walk them home because she knew it would give them another opportunity to be together.
“Oh no,” Yoona said, while she searched in her school bag.
“What is it?” asked Donghae as he and Jessica stopped walking.
“I forgot my math homework at school, I’m going to go back to get it.” She said.
“Let me go with you then,” said Donghae.
“No, you two go home first and get ready for the party tonight, I’ll be fast.” She replied. “Go on,” Yoona lightly pushed them signaling them to go home first.
Captured by Yoona’s Charm, Donghae didn’t want to deny her; therefore he continued walking Jessica home, while Yoona pretended to go back to the school.
After walking for only about three blocks away, Yoona felt as if someone was following her.

Yoona’s POV: Oh no, it can’t be vampires, can it?

She turned around and realized that it was only some of her classmates heading home.
After only a few minutes, the streets were empty. No longer were there voices of people lurking around the area. It was dead silence. Yoona notices that someone was following her again. She then yelled, “If you continue to follow me, I’ll call the cops,” Turning around she only sees someone running away from where she was standing. Then, the person seem to have come back, only this time, there were four others tagging along.

Yoona’s POV: Could it be that they are going to kidnap something or me?

Yoona started running, hoping that she would flee away safely.

Yoona’s POV: Fudge! I don’t think I can outrun them. I must think of something quick. The spell book, there must be something in there that can save me. That’s right. The invisibility spell, how does it go again?

She quickly tries to take out the Poise book, which she placed in her school bag. As she struggles to turn the page, she then decided to hide behind a large tree instead. Using all her strength that was left in her, she dashes towards the tree that is only a few yards away. Turning the pages irrationally, she then had a paper cut on her index finger. Ignoring the pain, she continued searching for it, knowing that if she doesn’t find something quick, they would find her fairly quickly.

Yoona’s POV: Found it. Invisible spell.
Spell: Disappear, disappear, and make me clear.
Movements: Snap both fingers.
Warning: Invisibility only works to human eyes.
Wow, these spells sure are cheesy. Hmm, what about my belongings, will they disappear?
Note: Focus on everything that you want to be invisible, i.e. clothing.

Yoona then focused, after snapping her fingers, she became invisible. Everything, including her school bag was invisible. As she tries to get away as fast as possible, she notices that Donghae was looking for her.

Yoona’s POV: why is he here? They’ll definitely capture him. What should I do?

When Donghae notices the group of people, the ones chasing after Yoona earlier, he decided to come to them to ask for Yoona’s whereabouts.
“Excuse me, but have you --?” Donghae tried to asked, as they cut him off.
“We lost the girl, but capturing a young boy would be good too.” One of them yelled out.
As Donghae realized that they wanted to capture him, he turned back and ran as fast as he could.
“Are you stupid, why did you say that out loud, now we have to chase after him,” the leader yells back. “Hurry and capture him.”
Yoona, who was watching far from the tree sees that Donghae was running away them, she had no choice but to help him. Focusing her mind, she performed the invisibility spell once again, only this time; she tried to make him invisible.
After noticing that his body started to fade away, he began to see Yoona’s body, and how she had cast the spell. As scared as he was, he knew that Yoona wouldn’t hurt him, so he headed towards her to ask her what she did to him.

A/N: Ok, I orginally didn't have Donghae in this chapter, but to develop him more as a character to the story, I had to add him in. hehe. So if you're rooting for Yoona and Donghae, you probably like that I added him into this chapter. hehe. I finally figured out what was missing in my story, so when I finish this story, I might post a revised version. One with better details and such.
